Chestnuts Day Nursery

We sense that all the team have taken the time to get to know her personally and she absolutely loves going in! We adore hearing what she’s been up to during the day and updates is exceptional. The team are all extremely expert, very welcoming and consistently cheerful to fill us in on how our daughter is getting on. We are extremely cheerful with Chestnuts as our choice of childcare centre for our little girl.

Updates has consistently been clear and all the team I have met have been remarkable. My daughter has been at Chestnuts Day Childcare centre for over two months now and we have been really pleased with how cheerful she seems at childcare centre, seeing her develop and development in all aspects.

There is such a welcoming and attentive atmosphere at Chestnuts which I think was so important to him settling in. Also, what is remarkable is I can now check on my phone what he’s had to eat and when he has slept etc. He loves the outdoors and the childcare centre has a excellent outdoor area with lots of playtime equipment to explore. The food is consistently well balanced and home-cooked, he consistently eats it all! They consistently are doing creative crafts and on special occasions will bring home bits like Christmas etc. The team are all lovely and cannot do enough for them. Would highly suggest Chestnuts to anyone! Absolutely adore Chestnuts Day Childcare centre!

The girls in his room were remarkable, and the manager was very supportive. He loves going now, and we have already noticed him developing lots more since starting. My son has not been around people much due to the pandemic, so I was anxious for him starting childcare centre.

The care for our 18-month-old daughter is outstanding and she clearly enjoys spending her day at childcare centre. We appreciate that there is very low team turnover, and the team genuinely seem to care about our daughter’s development. One small piece of advice, it might be supportive to create a guide for new parents through the first few weeks of childcare centre. It is quite an emotional rollercoaster. The team had answers for all our questions during this time, and it put our mind at ease, but it could help to put it in a small leaflet or something like that. Thank you for making childcare centre so enjoyable for our daughter. We are very cheerful with Chestnuts Childcare centre.

My son has been attending for a year now and the team have been consistently welcoming, supportive and in tune with my son’s development. The food options for him are consistently healthy and varied and the team, again, were so supportive when it came to discussing expressing/storing milk when he was younger.

She has been there since a baby and settled in very quickly. All the team are consistently so cheerful, enthusiastic and attentive. One of the reasons I chose Chestnuts was for the homely and personalised feeling you get as soon as you walk in. I couldn’t suggest a better childcare centre! Our daughter couldn’t be happier at Chestnuts Day Childcare centre which I think is mainly due to the team.
