She was not cheerful at first but with the persistence and attentive nature of the team who work here she now loves her childcare centre days and happily walks in and waves goodbye.
Thanks so much to all the team especially 2 in particular who have made the journey as smooth as possible for us. My daughter started here at 12 months old in the baby room.

She has had so many excellent discovering experiences at childcare centre and has come on so much in their care. We’re sad she’s leaving for school! The girls are fantastic and the relationship that my daughter has with her key worker is incredible. We thank them all so sincerely. I’d suggest CherryIsland to anyone looking for childcare on Hayling. My daughter has attended CherryIsland for two years now and has loved it.

I sense the 0-2 room is quite small for our 18-month baby. He loves it when he’s in the main room. The variety of activities and playtime are great. He has caught headlice twice from the childcare centre, I sense the letter was issued a little late and we would have like to have been told before we took him in that a few kids had them. I strongly disagree with the childcare centre charging parents fees when the childcare centre is closed (25th/26th/1st). Expensive enough without throwing money down the drain. This wasn’t explained before he started. My son really enjoys the childcare centre, all the team are really welcoming and excellent with him.

Plenty of activities indoors and outdoors. She consistently comes home cheerful! She is so cheerful that she doesn’t want to come home after her sessions, which shows she is very settled. Very welcoming, excellent atmosphere for the kids.

Both my kids have attended from a young age, sometimes on a full-time basis. The care and attention shown to the kids is outstanding. The acknowledgements of individual needs are also to be commended. Likewise, the food offered is not only healthy and nutritious but the kids adore it! I highly suggest Cherry Island Childcare centre.

Since joining the childcare centre she has developed a huge amount of self‑assurance and assertion. She freely expresses herself and reflects the kindness, compassion, and curiosity that are at the heart of the childcare centre’s values. The childcare centre works very hard to integrate the kids into the on-site junior school by offering several transitional visits prior to school starting. They also make curriculum-focused work enjoyable and engaging. My daughter often came home singing the phonics songs before she had even started discovering them in her year group.
A highlight of the childcare centre is the lovely sensory-focused nap room, although when kids are older, there is also a lovely cosy corner where they can snuggle up if feeling tired. I have only great things to say about this childcare centre and my daughter and I will be sad to leave when school starts! Cherry Island is a secure and enriching setting with positive, bubbly and nurturing team.

She loves coming here. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone looking for a placement for their kid. Outstanding doesn’t even cover how I sense. My daughter consistently comes home excited to tell me about what she has done in the day and it’s excellent seeing what she has learnt. I am so proud of what my daughter has achieved here and I can’t fault the team they have been absolutely outstanding in every area of my daughter’s care and education.

The team are gentle and compassionate with her arms make sure she’s feeling better.
Also, there is a great range of activities she enjoys to keep her occupied. Thank you Cherry Island. I sense quite cheerful leaving my granddaughter here, even when she has those clingy days.

We have had two kids there and both have flourished. The team are lovely, genuine, expert, compassionate and enjoyable. We are very cheerful with this childcare centre. A lovely, kid-centred childcare centre which nurtures and supports kids in a enjoyable, structured and values-driven way.

The playtime is varied and interesting, I adore the effort the team make with my kids. One of my favourite things is how they are greeted in the morning; without fail they are welcomed so nicely by a team member, who is excited to see my kids. They only attend one day a week and I think this approach has been so effective in making them sense welcome and settled. All the team have made a excellent effort getting to know my kids and as a result my eldest just adores everyone there. There is excellent updates both in person and via email. I’d suggest this childcare centre to anyone. My kids adore Cherryisland Childcare centre.
