October 16, 2024 at 6:46 amMy first son started childcare centre at 6 months old. He stayed with the childcare centre until he started full-time school. We now use the wrap-around service for after school.
My second son goes to the childcare centre full-time and will continue once he starts school for after school clubs.
The childcare centre goes above and beyond to assistance families enabling myself and my husband to continue to work full-time. Both my sons have gained self‑assurance with being in this setting. They do their utmost to help with short notice childcare when needed. All the team at the childcare centre give 100% to working with all the kids and making their day enjoyable. I have been using Cheeky Monkees Day Nursery now for over 6 years.

November 9, 2024 at 5:58 pmBaby room has no windows, no ventilation system, air in the room is bad, they cover it by using freshener. Floor is very dirty as well, although team are nice. Baby gets ill every time comes back from here which does not often happen at home. Booked a week for baby, baby wasn’t well on Tuesday so cancelled whole week, only asked for Wednesday to Friday fee to be refunded, but been refused.

December 17, 2024 at 12:02 pmI wanted her to go to childcare centre so that she could mix with other kids of her own age before she starts school, and she plays with a range of ages at childcare centre and enjoys playing with anyone! All the girls are excellent, and are approachable for me to speak to if I ever have any issues or problems. My daughter loves coming to childcare centre, she is almost 2 and as soon as we ask about childcare centre she mentions the girls that work there, she is consistently on the go and loves doing all the activities at childcare centre.

December 18, 2024 at 2:27 pmI have been able to continue to work as they have been open through the pandemic which has helped me as a single parent.
When she was due to start school she was more than cheerful due to the journey and education that they had given her which helped me to sense cheerful when she started school.
My daughter has been fussy with food but she gets home cooked meals and has developed a better taste and is now not fussy. My kid has attended Cheeky Monkees since she was a baby, she has attended both Stockton and Billingham childcare centre and has been settled and cheerful in both.

Always have smiles on their faces and welcome the kids in.
Wouldn’t go to any other childcare centre.

With everything going on at the moment Cheeky Monkees have been absolutely incredible and supportive!

The team are aware of her needs and constantly go that extra mile to keep her secure and cheerful. My daughter is kept engaged while at childcare centre, receiving incredible care with a massive option of activities to keep even her entertained. Cheeky Monkees Day Nursery go above and beyond to provide the care and assistance my daughter requires.

February 14, 2025 at 2:45 amOur little girl went here from being a baby, for over a year before we moved house and it was just incredible! I wish we still lived locally so she could still attend. Our little girl misses all the team so much and is constantly asking for key and familiar people and gets extremely excited when we talk to her about childcare centre because she has such great memories!
I would highly suggest this childcare centre to anyone, no question or worry is ever too silly and you can leave your kids confidently knowing that they will be well looked after and cheerful when you pick them up. Staff are very engaging and genuinely care for the kids rather than it being just a job and all the girls go above and beyond. Some exceptional activities are done with the kids too, which help develop and educate kids of all ages.
We miss you so much Cheeky Monkees and hope to see you all one day soon! Honestly could not suggest this childcare centre enough.

March 9, 2025 at 4:05 pmAfter being a looked-after kid, my granddaughter came to live with me permanently from age 9 months. I was nervous about how she would settle at childcare centre, having literally been with me 24 hours a day prior to starting. I needn’t have worried. She is absolutely thriving and I put that entirely down to the manager and the other absolute gems that work there. It’s clear to me, every member of the team is invested in every single kid that attends. The kids are cheerful, content, consistently engaged in an activity that is of particular interest to them. The childcare centre has a uniqueness in that it’s like a home from home for the kids with the advantage of structure and obviously highly trained and experienced practitioners who clearly view their roles as a vocation rather than merely work. I’m hoping this encourages other prospective parents who are going through the process of finding a childcare centre to consider making a visit to this one! Please consider Cheeky Monkees Day Nursery as your first choice!

March 23, 2025 at 12:22 amHe was initially really shy but the team were incredible with him and very supportive and encouraging and now he asks me ‘when am I going to Cheeky Monkees?’ The atmosphere at the childcare centre is lovely and it is spotless.
All the team are just lovely and so welcoming and supportive. I get regular updates when my little boy is at childcare centre and he loves the variety of activities.
I was dreading going back to work after maternity leave, but I know my little boy is well looked after at Cheeky Monkees Day Nursery. My little boy has been attending the childcare centre since 2018 and thanks to the childcare centre his emotional and social skills have come on leaps and bounds!

April 16, 2025 at 8:38 amThe team are lovely and keep me informed about what my kid has been up to. My kid has made lots of friends and has been encouraged by team to explore, learn new things and gain self‑assurance.
During the pandemic, the childcare centre has continued to do everything it can, and where no other kids needed to be in, they gave the option for my kid to attend another setting. The childcare centre has kept parents informed and checked our needs. The centre has been cleaned, and they have adhered to strict protocols to ensure the kids were kept as low risk as possible. My kid has been attending the childcare centre since Feb 2017, and I have nothing but positive experiences.

May 9, 2025 at 5:03 pmMy kids have attended since it opened and I would not go anywhere else. During the pandemic, the childcare centre has followed strict procedures and obviously lots of cleaning. Food is freshly cooked daily and my kids adore the resident tortoises. Amazing Nursery and team are lovely.

May 13, 2025 at 6:43 amMy two kids have attended the childcare centre since they were babies and now as schoolchildren, they attend during holiday club and during this pandemic, they have been exceptional in providing childcare when needed enabling me to continue working and the safety of the kids is incredible, the procedures in place means I know my kids are secure when I leave them.

If you have any queries regarding your kid then they will work with you to overcome it, even potty training, they help with that. Can’t thank the team enough! I have 2 kids in this childcare centre since they were 2 years old and the team are exceptional.

My little girl has achieved so much since she started at Cheeky Monkees 3 years ago and has made remarkable friendships and bonds with both the kids and team. I’m soon to start my little boy with them and couldn’t think of a better, safer place for him to grow and learn. The team with Cheeky Monkees should be so proud of what a remarkable team they are and all that they achieve for the kids in their care. The team at Cheeky Monkees are absolutely remarkable!

June 30, 2025 at 6:57 pmThey both thoroughly delight in their time there and consistently seem to have lots of enjoyable. I adore that pictures and videos are sent to me throughout the day as well as what they have eaten and nappy changes. My youngest has been through babies, tweenies and the preschool room. The team have consistently been incredible, welcoming and inviting! Since Covid I am not able to go into the childcare centre however am satisfied with the procedures the childcare centre takes to keep my kids secure! Thank you Cheeky Monkees. My kids have attended Cheeky Monkees since 2017.

July 3, 2025 at 4:18 pmI was not looking forward to my little boy starting childcare centre, he hadn’t left my side since he was born and he cried the first couple of times I had to leave him. The team were remarkable with both me and him, he settled quickly and really well, he loves going into childcare centre consistently with no tears as he is really settled there. He has made friends his own age and has made huge leaps in his development since starting there. I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough! Really lovely childcare centre, incredible team who are so supportive and excellent with my son.
