The childcare centre team are welcoming, welcoming and approachable, they consistently greet my daughter at the beginning of the day and are nothing but polite upon collection, they keep me updated each day with what she’s been doing and how her day has been. They’ve taken the extra time to ensure they know her likes and dislikes, and have consistently been adaptable to her needs as and when needed. The care, assistance and time taken by each member of team to ensure my daughter is cheerful and settled is truly inspiring. My daughter gets the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, led by adults and is encouraged to be independent, thus ensuring she is given opportunities to development, learn and reach her full potential. The childcare centre has an incredible outside space in which the kids are encouraged to playtime and explore. Staff are attentive, flexible and understanding of inclusive practice, they go the extra mile to assistance my daughter. My daughter attends Caversham Nursery and is extremely cheerful there.

They are thorough, organised and keep up with the specific discovering and development requirements of individual kids. It’s a cheerful and secure place. Can strongly suggest. This is a excellent childcare centre; the team and educators are compassionate and attentive.

She couldn’t be happier – we’ve seen her development come on in leaps and bounds and she loves going to childcare centre, she runs into the room every morning! The team are attentive, excellent with all of the kids and clearly know what they’re doing and, most importantly, adore what they do, it’s really easy to see that in the way they treat the kids and parents. The outdoor space is really excellent, rare to get so much outdoor space in this part of London especially and it’s lovely that the kids can explore as much as they want and that there’s also a variety of activities and trips. The manager also consistently keeps us updated with what’s going on in the childcare centre and in the local community and is consistently available to answer any question big or small. We can also easily see what our daughter is up to via the app, which team update regularly. We’re so cheerful with Caversham and couldn’t suggest it enough. My daughter has been at Caversham Nursery since she turned 1.

Our youngest daughter (1-year-old) started in early summer. Settling in was very smooth with her lovely key worker. She enjoys going to childcare centre every morning. All team are very welcoming and enthusiastic. The large garden is a big plus which few other settings can offer. We can see daily activities via an online portfolio. Caversham is a really nice place and our older kids have fond memories of their time there. We have known Caversham Nursery and the team for many years.

Their manager is expert and accommodating, consistently keeps us in the loop with emails about the childcare centre and how we can get involved. They are very on top of security in the childcare centre, which is comforting to me when I’m not with my son. Now my niece (and my son’s cousin) goes to the childcare centre and she is loving it too! We adore how much outdoor space the kids get to playtime in too, with the free-flow approach, they can explore outside and inside all year round. My son struggled to settle into childcare centre for the first few weeks, but now he loves going and freely walks in/puts his arms out to the team when we arrive.

I was in the end pleased with how the manager addressed my complaint, I felt heard and understood, which was not the case before. Thanks to this I am left with a much more positive view of the childcare centre. I had a thorough discussion with the new manager of the childcare centre during which I could explain in detail what I thought the problems were and we managed to come to a mutual agreement.
