Buttercups at Chalfont

My daughter has developed leaps and bounds here. The teachers take excellent care of her. The nursery is clean, tidy and has the best facilities for any nursery I know!

My daughter has only been here for the last seven months and she has come so far because of everything the staff have done for her. Some of the things that have really stood out to us, is the level of care to do with food – we have strict dietary requirements and the nursery has catered to us specifically, in fact, our daughter is trying new things because of her time there. The staff are very genuine and look after her as if she is their own, it is literally a home away from home. We have no doubt or issue when dropping her off and cannot wait to start her sibling there soon. I am sure he too will learn so much as she has done. She is well ready for her next big transition to primary school because of the wonderful support of the staff in the pavilion, especially two members of staff in particular. The manager of the nursery is so hands-on and so accommodating, it is very special to see her so involved in all the rooms. It’s truly the mark of a great space when the head knows every child’s name.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough. It’s so welcoming and friendly and I feel really lucky that we are part of the Buttercups family. My daughter settled in quickly due to the fantastic staff who truly care about each individual child. At 16 months old she confidently strolls in by herself without a backwards glance and that’s because it’s a home-from-home. At pick-up, I always receive an anecdote about her day and initially they see which member of staff your child warms to before they assign her key worker. It’s things like this that prove they really are concerned with your child’s happiness and well-being. Having seen my son go through the entire nursery, I can say that each room provides the same first-class care. The activities are engaging and varied and my son has learnt so much. He has been challenged where appropriate and nurtured at the same time. The two-way communication is outstanding. His development truly has been a partnership between us and the staff at Buttercups.

Buttercups has been amazing! My daughter has progressed so far since joining and is very comfortable with all the staff. We feel well informed by the staff and know exactly what the children are learning. Great grounds and always very clean.

Both of my daughters attended this nursery from around the time they were one until they went to school. The younger one left last autumn. I would highly recommend Buttercups – both of my girls have developed very well and become much more confident as a result of their time spent there. Thank you to all of the staff there.

My son has been at Buttercups at Chalfont Day Nursery since he was 8 months old. He has learnt a lot and made great friends.

Our son has completely thrived at this wonderful nursery. Every member of staff is caring and the children adore them. I couldn’t recommend it enough, incredible setting, learning in a fun way and happy children.

My son struggled when he first joined but over the past two years has grown in confidence.

Both of my children are so happy at Buttercups Day Nursery. The staff have been amazing at helping settle them and they have made fantastic progress there. My son has loved the Montessori classroom and his concentration and focus have improved so much.

Very good experience of the nursery. Excellent range of activities for the children on a daily basis. The staff are highly trained and have given my children a great experience.
