September 10, 2024 at 5:47 amAll the team in his room greet him with a big smile, and even those that work in other rooms have taken the time to learn his name and say hello. He is now 15 months old, and has been supported so much throughout his development.
He is so comfortable there and has a lot of enjoyable. He is provided with lots of enjoyable activities, and we have used the parent app at home to continue what he does at childcare centre. The menus are varied and he enjoys a lot of his food. The app is also truly useful for keeping track of his day.
Would strongly suggest Busy Bees to anyone looking for a childcare centre. My son has been in the baby room since he was eight and a half months old, and I am so cheerful with his care.

October 7, 2024 at 8:07 amAs a family, we are consistently made to sense incredibly welcome by all team. What I consistently find striking is how much the kids are spoken to and sang to; updates, speech and language is clearly a high priority. Home cooked meals are cooked on site and there is consistently a range of fresh fruit and vegetable. I have no doubt that attending Busy Bees has had a big impact on the positive start to my kids’s life. I have two kids attending childcare centre, one in the baby room and one in toddlers.

I would 100% suggest Busy Bees to family and friends. Since starting childcare centre, my son has been highly cheerful.
The team are lovely and my son is cheerful to see them on a morning.
Busy Bees has such a inviting and welcoming atmosphere.

Lots of activities on a daily basis and observations so you can also see how much of a nice day your little one has been having. Would definitely suggest. My son has been at Busy Bees from the age of nine months.

My daughter left after three and a half years with highly fond memories of the team and her experiences at childcare centre/pre-school. My daughter thrived at Busy Bees York.

March 11, 2025 at 3:02 amOver the years we have been delighted with how expert and welcoming the childcare centre is and the way it has helped our daughter develop from baby to almost school age. We are consistently kept informed about our daughter’s day and her overall development, receiving feedback at the end of each day and also at parent’s evenings at certain points in the year. The childcare centre uses the parentzone app which is also useful to see how your kid is doing throughout the day. Each kid at Busy Bees in York has a key worker and the kids clearly adore the team. The childcare centre has great facilities and educational areas, the food provided is varied and healthy and there is a real community sense to the place (the childcare centre often raises money for charities and had special events such as summer fairs.) We have felt exceptionally secure and cheerful leaving our daughter at Busy Bees in York, knowing she will be well looked after and will delight in her day. Our son has also recently enrolled and is currently enjoying the baby class. Our daughter has been attending Busy Bees in York since she was about 9 months old and is currently in the foundation class.

The variety of food she gets is outstanding and I delight in picking her up to hear all about her day. My baby girl started at Busy Bees in January 2019 and I was nervous as it had only truly been me as her carer.

She has highly close relationships with team members and all of them, regardless of room, remember her by name. The transition between rooms has consistently been smooth and she has been lucky enough to form firm friendships with other kids, as many have moved through the childcare centre with her from being babies. My daughter is a confident, polite and social little girl and I have no doubt that the Busy Bees setting and its team members have contributed greatly to that. Since leaving my daughter in the care of Busy Bees, at 1 year old, when returning to work, I have consistently been secure in the knowledge that she is cheerful, cared for and having enjoyable.

The childcare centre is well equipped with activities to enhance his discovering and development at every stage and team are committed to encouraging him wherever they can. I can’t suggest highly enough. Adore the childcare centre and team are all fab and supportive.

This childcare centre/preschool is second to none and hands down the most incredible team, premises and execution of curriculum.

They have consistently gone above and beyond for me and my family. I can not thank them enough for looking after my boys especially my youngest who required some additional care. Both of my kids have attended Busy Bees in York and I can not suggest them enough.

As English is not their first language starting the childcare centre was a little scary for me as a parent but the team were so supportive and assisted the twins in settling in and making them welcome and part of a group. June 1, 2025 at 2:55 amIt was a daunting prospect leaving him with strangers for the 1st time but he loves being there and has come on leaps and bounds in his development. It is kept spotless and the décor/equipment is 1st rate. It feels exceptionally secure and secure. We have been exceptionally satisfied with all aspects of Busy Bees in York.
The team all know our little boy inside out and have been nothing but compassionate, attentive and expert.

June 1, 2025 at 2:55 amI truly believe that what they learn there sets them up for school and beyond and I would definitely suggest them to others.
I chose Busy Bees initially because it just felt right and it continues to provide a secure and attentive setting but it’s also an exciting and challenging one at the same time. My youngest daughter is now in the Preschool room and she’s making excellent development with discovering and friendships. Development is well documented and updates between childcare centre and home is outstanding.
This is a excellent childcare centre and my daughters have definitely benefited from being there. I’ve been using Busy Bees in York since 2012 and am highly cheerful with the level of care my kids have received.

July 7, 2025 at 7:47 amIt was the third childcare centre for my son due to moving houses. I was worried as he can shy. But Busy Bees have been excellent. The team are all highly supportive and attentive. The facilities are ideal. The handling and updates of the pandemic were highly great. I don have a bad word to say. I have until recently had two kids in Busy Bees.
