September 4, 2024 at 2:14 amOur son is ready to go to school next month and with a heavy heart he is leaving the childcare centre in a few weeks. From the moment he started, I have never had any cause for concern or been worried about leaving him. The team have consistently been super exceptional with us as a family – making sure we felt reassured and in the know on his daily goings on! He has developed some strong rapport’s with the team at the childcare centre and now in his pre-school room – made significant educational leaps. He has also made some truly great friends as have we with their parents! He truly has grown into a fantastic attentive smart and sensitive boy with their extra help and guidance. Now our baby daughter attends and I had no concerns at all for her starting. She loves it and has been brought into the childcare centre as easily as it was for our son. It consistently feels like home when we drop the kids off and they never want to leave! Thank you to all the team for making both of our kids’s time away from us so easy, enjoyable, educational and memorable. I could not rate the childcare centre higher and hope that it continues to make the lucky kids as cheerful as our two are. We felt strongly that Green Umbrella was best childcare choice for our son 4 years ago when I first returned to work…the homely atmosphere, attentive and smart team and large garden key attributes we were looking for.

October 15, 2024 at 5:44 amThe team are consistently welcoming of any queries and give thorough feedback at the end of each day. The outside area is a particular favourite of my daughter’s and every morning there are various activities laid out for the kids to explore. The variety of activities, the calm and attentive team and how well my kid has grown and developed since being at Green Umbrella is reassuring and I’d highly suggest them! My daughter is consistently so cheerful to go to childcare centre, she is wonderfully cared for and nurtured to meet her full potential.

October 21, 2024 at 10:34 amAfter nearly 6 years of The Green Umbrella being part of our lives it is about to end. We will be sad to say goodbye to a excellent team of carers, many who were there in 2009 and are still there now. Every morning when we have left our kid at The Green Umbrella Childcare centre we know they are secure and will have a enjoyable day ahead. It has never been a disappointment. Our kid’s key worker goes out their way to make sure they speak to us at the end of the day with an update as to what our kid has been up to. Over the years we have received/kept all their discovering diaries which show the kid’s development as they have moved though the childcare centre stages, these are priceless and completed to a highly high standard. Both kids have consistently been cheerful with the home-made meals provided during the day and ate highly well. Finally, the various parts of a huge garden are just another bonus to a lovely childcare centre. It is excellent they use it in all weathers……..which is such enjoyable for the kids. My oldest kid started at The Green Umbrella Childcare centre in 2009 and my youngest is about to leave August 2015.

December 23, 2024 at 12:04 amThey are remarkable, super expert, welcoming, approachable, will help you with anything you need from them. My daughter loves going here, I have complete self‑assurance in them as a team and organisation. I can say this because I came to this childcare centre off the back off having a horrendous journey at another childcare centre where my kid was not looked after to this standard, where team were clearly being overworked and kids under-stimulated and it showed in how much my daughter hated going in. But here she has formed healthy and appropriate bonds with her childcare centre nurses and with her peers and the setting is highly spotless. I cannot praise this childcare centre enough. I absolutely adore this childcare centre and its team.

February 21, 2025 at 9:10 pmThe Preschool room is spacious and airy where the toddlers are encouraged to playtime with their friends in a secure and homely setting. This childcare centre has a magical garden used for stories and exploration.

March 20, 2025 at 7:21 amBeing a young working family we were highly worried about sending our daughter to childcare centre as she is our only kid so highly nervous, but since starting childcare centre she’s never cried once , goes in with smiles every day, loves everyone who works in the childcare centre every day by team we get told she been waving at us again, she’s learnt so much and we can’t thank the team enough for making us sense so at ease and for me returning to work so easy, so thank you for everything you do for our daughter and us the parents.

March 20, 2025 at 9:56 amEvery kid is nurtured, valued and encouraged by all members of team. My daughter has grown leaps and bounds in self‑assurance during her time at childcare centre and I have no doubt that a excellent part of this is due to the attentive, gentle and empathetic team.
There is a perfect balance of discovering and playtime and the outdoor areas are incredible. When my little girl comes home grubby and smiling, I know she’s had excellent enjoyable! The transition from each room is seamless and at each step of the way, every kid’s needs are accounted and catered for. My daughter is now ready and raring to start school. The Green Umbrella is like family!

His speech and social skills are coming along nicely and his fine and gross motor control are developing all the time. He loves exploring all the new things put out each day and feels secure when I leave him in the mornings. His daily diary is truly supportive and when I pass over messages in the morning team are consistently supportive and understanding. Thank you Green Umbrella. My little boy loves coming to childcare centre for his two days each week in the baby room.

May 2, 2025 at 11:00 pmAlso developing his self-self‑assurance with ball skills through sports coaching and allowing him to explore his own ideas with role playtime. I sense reassured that all the team know my son and if he feels concerned they comfort him if necessary. There is outstanding updates between the team and myself and I am highly cheerful overall with The Green Umbrella Childcare centre. I have been highly cheerful with the activities provided for my son, encouraging his imagination through modelling clay and storytelling.

May 5, 2025 at 9:20 pmMy kid has loved every second and begs to go on days that she does not attend. All the team are well trained and highly welcoming, which gives me peace of mind. It is a excellent shame she is about to start school in September and she will be leaving, however with the help of the childcare centre and team I am sure she will thrive at school. By far one of the best nurseries in Weston.
