Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City

Our son started at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City in October 2021 as I returned to work. We have been delighted by the love and support they have given him, and us as parents. The team are fantastic and has helped our son grow and develop so much. He happily walks into the nursery every day and comes out with a smile on his face. The activities are good and our son seems to enjoy them. The app updates are a bonus and certainly, when he started they were a real reassurance. We’d highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

An absolutely lovely nursery that is really child-focused. They keep us well informed, involved and listen to the parent’s really well. We use reusable nappies and they didn’t bat an eyelid, they were happy to use them and we’ve not had any problems with them. They are also really understanding at times when you need to be that Mum and phone them for reassurance about your child, such as when they’re settling into a new room or have been poorly. My little girl is really happy there and the carers have formed great little bonds with her. They also managed to get her to sleep on the very first day when she’d refused to do anything but contact nap for me. They are kind and responsive about sleep in particular. Really happy with our choice and kind of jealous of the lunch menu!

Busy Bees Nursery in Welwyn Garden City have been absolutely fantastic with the care of my son. They really listen and understand his needs and make sure that is thriving in his everyday activities there. They have brilliant and imaginative activities for the children that are educational and fun. My son loves his nursery and it’s all down to the wonderful and caring staff. Thank you.

I was worried about my child starting nursery after being born at the beginning of the pandemic and lockdown but he has really come along at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City. He loves the staff and what is even nicer, is that they clearly love him too. The activities he does every day are amazing and I really appreciate the time everyone takes to tell me about his day at pick up!

Our son’s been attending Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City 5-days per week for the last 18-months and we’re still very happy with the nursery. He runs to the staff every morning and comes out with a huge smile on his face in the afternoon! We can see what he’s been up to each day, including his meals and nappy changes via the app. The staff were nothing short of amazing when he was ill recently! Highly recommend.

My son has been at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City for nearly 2-years now and he absolutely loves it there. The staff are all excellent and provide a very high standard of care, listening and engaging in my son’s interests. The staff have dealt really well with the Covid-19 situation and provided clear communication throughout and reassurance that our son is safe and that our needs are listened to as parents. The app works well to get updates and the staff are always happy to make time to discuss anything. The activities they do are interesting and varied and my son always goes in happily and has created such a lovely bond with the staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Fantastic group of staff at Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City. They really interact with the kids and lay on so many activities that my little one is always chatting about on the way home. The staff really know the kids well and give great feedback on how they’re getting on. They always take on any staff feedback well and deal with any problems that come up.

I cannot recommend Busy Bees highly enough. I was so anxious to send my 11 month old off to nursery when I started back at work, but the team and the staff made me feel so relaxed that I was immediately put at ease. After the initial settle sessions and a couple of weeks of feeling hesitant, my daughter began to throw her arms out for the staff each morning. We get daily updates on everything, food, nappies, sleep, activities, and photos – it is unbelievable. Every day I pick her up, someone speaks to me and tells me even more about how my daughter has been that day. It is clear how much love and care is in that room! I hunted high and low for a nursery that I was pleased with (using this website!) and am beyond happy with Busy Bees. My daughter has been going for 3 months now and loves it. Thank you millions!

Our daughter continues to grow so much from attending. She’s so confident socially and loves learning new things. It feels like her language acquisition gets better every day! You can really see the difference between her and her friends who don’t go to nursery – she shares, is empathetic and even is good at tidying up! We love all the activities she gets to take part in and she clearly loves her carers.
The food she eats is healthy and varied (and she eats a lot more adventurously than at home!)
The staff are also great at communicating with parents – the app is wonderful and we get to have a great summary of the day when we pick our daughter up. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

We have been so happy and grateful for the care and love both us and our 12 month old have had since joining Busy Bees Welwyn Garden City in May. The women who work here are angels – nothing is too much trouble and they all bond beautifully and so naturally with the kids. The settling-in is a brilliant pace (for mum and baby!) and the updates you get during the day are so regular and thorough. Food all cooked fresh onsite and the space is huge and filled with brilliant things for the kids. I am so impressed that even in the baby room there are themed activities set out for the kids to help them discover new things and interests. I could recommend the nursery more highly. It’s a brilliant space filled with just lovely, caring people. We have been so happy since we joined, and on the days when my little one has been unsettled, he comes home smelling of perfume which I adore because I know it means he has had extra cuddles from two staff members.
