Egg Day Nursery is an exceptional nursery. Our son loved his time there; we were very lucky to have such a great childcare provider.

The children are at the centre of everything Egg Day Nursery does – it was lovely to hear about the varied activities at the daily handover and all the delicious food made by the in-house chef. The themed weeks were great fun too! Detailed information was provided via an online system and parents evenings, so we would always know how he was getting on.

Egg Day Nursery’s success is all down to the brilliant staff – all friendly, professional, and welcoming. The nursery is set in a converted chapel with lots of outside space, including a recently renovated garden and adventure area. The village setting means trips to the park and community centre are possible and annual events like the Sports Day and Christmas Show bring the children, staff and parents together. The management team is brilliant and communications at every level are clear, quick and efficient. Thank you!

An excellent nursery in a lovely setting. The staff are amazing, they serve healthy cooked meals and really care about the children’s development and well being. I am totally relaxed about my daughter being at Egg Day Nursery, knowing she is safe and happy. My son is due to start soon too. Can’t fault it.

Our little girl has attended Egg Day Nursery, Sutton Scotney since she was nine months old. She absolutely loves going to nursery and has a close bond with many of the staff as well as making many friends. The nursery is great at keeping us informed of room transitions and key person changes and we love receiving tapestry updates throughout the week, letting us know what she has been doing, how she is developing and lots of photos too. Our little one loves it here and so do we.

My son has attended Egg since he was 10 months old and he has loved it from the beginning. He comes home exhausted and pleasantly grubby at the end of every fun-filled day. He absolutely loves being able to spend lots of time outside and (in more normal times) going on visits in the local area. I am constantly surprised by the life skills he is being taught and often see huge leaps forward in his learning as a new subject or skill is started. Plus there is the bonus of the on-site chef, who cooks fresh hot meals for the children at lunch and tea time. The past year has been difficult with the pandemic but staff have done their absolute best to make life as normal as possible for the children. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone considering it and have no doubt that my son will be ready for school when the time comes.

I have 2 children at Egg Day Nursery Sutton Scotney, and they both love it! My eldest has been there since he was 11 months and asks every morning to ‘go to Egg’, he quite simply would live there if I let him! The staff are all charming and friendly, management are approachable and nothing is ever too much. The communication between staff and parent is really very well managed and any ‘hiccups’ are very clearly communicated and dealt with. My youngest has only recently started, as he was born during a year of lockdown I was very apprehensive of him joining as he had not been socialised. A short 3 weeks after his first session he was waving at everyone, walking in happily and had developed a wonderful relationship with his key person.

As a parent there is nothing that says more about a Nursery than seeing your children run in, with a smile on their face, and give both their friends and staff a hug. I would recommend (and have) to anyone!

My review covers longer than 12 months, our whole experience at the nursery has been great. They have always been very understanding and helpful. I’m a first-time mum so even things that are new to me they have seen before and have been able to support my child and me and offer advice. This last couple of months we have hit a few troubles but the nursery have helped us overcome them and my little one is very happy.

Our little boy has been attending Egg Day Nursery since he turned 1. He is now in their fledglings room which he is absolutely thriving in. He does have some additional needs which the nursery, and particularly his key person, have been extremely understanding of. They offer the children such a mixture of activities each day and get to spend lots of time outside too. All the staff are smiley, warm, and welcoming. We particularly like that the food is cooked on-site, is healthy, and full of variety. We feel the support and nurture the team provides is allowing our son to develop into a confident, chatty, and happy child. We would certainly recommend Egg Day Nursery, a great nursery, and amazing staff.

I could not want any more from a nursery. The practitioners looking after the children have such high energy and enthusiasm. They are loving, caring and supportive of each individual child and also create an environment where manners and sharing are promoted and encouraged. The activities are endless, varied and very fun! They really make the most of the garden space, so while I’ve heard some people call it small, I’d argue that it’s much better used than nurseries with more outside space, with the children spending all day out there unless the weather is awful! The management team are superb, they’re accommodating, present and know all the children extremely well, often joining in with them during the day. I don’t think my 2-year old would have had such success with potty training had it not been for the clever setup with the loos being accessible to the children, without needing an adult to specifically take them and the excitement of the bell. Egg Day Nursery Sutton Scotney is the best.

Five star nursery – we are over the moon that we chose Egg Day Nursery Sutton Scotney for our daughter. All the staff here are just amazing, so friendly, attentive, professional and have welcomed her with open arms which has helped her settle in perfectly, every time we drop her off and collect her she is so happy! All of the activities the nursery does with the children are just fab and we love getting the Tapestry updates each week and seeing how much fun she’s had. They also have a fantastic on-site chef and I’m always jealous of the menus! Cannot fault Egg Day Nursery – it’s wonderful.
