Busy Bees Reading International

Our little one has been at Busy Bees at Reading International since they were 10 months. The team are really cordial and give a good handover on pick up. There is also a half day option which fits in with my work schedule. Practicality with earlier opening times make a huge difference to us getting to work in the morning, parking is good and the location works well generally (the A33 can get extremely busy though so good to know the back roads!). We are thrilled with how she has settled over the previous 5 months. Staff are thrilled to listen to concerns/feedback, making changes where necessary which is good. They are always thrilled for you to call if you have any concerns (especially at the start when you just want to know they are doing ok!). There are also opportunities to drop in and meet other parents/see your kids ‘in action’. She seems extremely pleased playing with crew, the other kids and the various toys/activities they have in the room. It’s always lovely having her bring home things she has made every now and again.

The crew are always interacting with the youngsters, encouraging kids to get involved in activities and group times. There are always activities going on so the youngsters have multiple opportunities throughout the day from messy activities to construction to puzzles and much more. Serving a variety of fruit and vegetables every day. Group times are great it involves reading, singing, dancing, numbers, letters and sounds. The personnel are truly cordial and positive and welcoming in the mornings. The overall atmosphere of the nursery setting is open, calm, warm and structured. Busy Bees at Reading International offer great educational opportunities as well as new discovering experiences. There is always an activity going on in the room/outside which is great because then there is an opportunity to either do something inside or outside. The food menu is exceptionally healthy and nutritious Busy Bees offers breakfast, snack, lunch and tea.

The childcare centre is well run with lovely team members and premises. The management takes feedback on board and makes reasonable efforts to address issues identified.

The personnel really go above and beyond for us and I cannot thank them enough. When we arrive at childcare centre in the morning he is so excited he screams and giggles until I take him in. I cannot thank them enough for making me feel at ease knowing he is delighted and has someone that can make him smile. The nursery setting app is remarkable and the team are excellent at sharing regular updates of my son’s day at childcare centre with pictures showing me he is pleased and content. He has built such a special relationship with the personnel members of the baby room he is more than thrilled to go in and be comforted by them. My young lad started at Reading International in August 2020 and he is thriving under their loving support.

Compare to another childcare centre, which my boy learned before, he feels relaxed and delighted. Teachers try more to help my little one to start to speak English. Teachers took good attention of my boy, and accidents never happened. My little one likes Busy bees early‑years hub.

He has great relationships with all the crew in his room and it’s made my life going back to work so much easier. I thank all the crew for their hard work, we really appreciate it. My little one absolutely adores it here, he is so pleased and beaming when I collect him.

Very welcoming and approachable with the support of my young lady at heart. She always completes different activities, coming home with different pieces of artwork each time as well as being told she has learnt a new thing throughout her day at early‑years hub. Very pleased with my little girl being here. The nursery setting is always truly immaculate as well as crew always looking presentable. Could not fault the team members at the early‑years hub.

My little one has learnt things that she would not have known if it wasn’t for the brilliant teaching at the childcare centre. My little one adores this early‑years hub, so much so that I have adjusted my collection time to later as the past few times I have collected her, she has wanted to continue with the activity she is doing. I am impressed with all aspects of the nursery setting, especially the parent app as this allows you to see what your youngster is doing on any particular day and it is lovely to see how well they are doing.

I can honestly say the personnel are truly welcoming, create a varied and interesting discovering setting whilst allowing her plenty of time to activities with her friends. I was impressed that even with the recent snow the early‑years hub strived to keep the early‑years hub open as long as possible, they always have the parents and children’s interest at heart and provide the best service. My young lady has been going to this childcare centre for over a year now. I treasure getting updates at the end of the day as to what she has been up to and the funny things she has been doing and saying. I would definitely advocate this early‑years hub. Food menus always look healthy and delicious too with freshly cooked meals each day.
