Busy Bees Newhaven

Staff deserve the biggest recognition for being attentive, supportive and attentive to little one’s individual needs and moods but also for creating a family-welcoming and secure atmosphere/setting to playtime and learn. Staff focus on kid needs, comfort, development. Food is tasty and nutritious, toddlers are also involved in its preparation, making pizza, tea or cookies. Nursery promotes healthy habits, great hygiene and cultural awareness. Big assistance with potty training. Parents App is keeping parents up to date with our daughter daily menu, activities and developments milestones on daily bases. Management is very approachable, supportive, supportive and available to handle any phone/email queries (incredible team effort and logistics during lockdown). Happy place for our baby girl ! Our daughter has been attending Busy Bees at Newhaven since she turned 1 (now 3 years old) and what a excellent journey it is.

He’s been there since he was 10 months old and has come on in leaps and bounds. The handover from childcare centre is consistently very detailed and he consistently seems to have a excellent time. We adore the diary online as we can see what he’s been up to during the day. The team and childcare centre manager are fantastic and consistently quick to answer any questions. Our son loves Busy Bees Newhaven as do we.

All have taken such an interest in my daughter’s well-being and development. She loves going to childcare centre and I am so pleased that she spends her time with all at Busy Bees Newhaven. The team are fantastic.

Newhaven has a excellent baby room and that’s what sold us initially. Now he’s all grown up and graduating from childcare centre and he’s had a excellent time. The team are all lovely and everything is very expert. Over the last year, we have felt very secure with the precautions they have taken. It’s nice being part of a large organisation like Busy Bees because everything feels very secure and secure and there are lots of excellent resources. Did I mention the team are lovely? Also, the location is super enjoyable, down by the harbour in Newhaven. They go on loads of adventures. It doesn’t have the biggest outdoor space, but they make up for that by taking them on loads of trips, and there are plenty of green spaces in the leisure centre’s facilities or beyond. They are consistently going on enjoyable trips to parks.

The team are excellent and our son loves his time there. He is developing excellent and the team are consistently cheerful to help if we want to work on some aspect of development or playtime. He has made loads of friends. The crèche has been supportive through the pandemic. Definitely recommended. An outstanding childcare centre.

My son started at Newhaven from 1 year old and is now 4 and loves childcare centre, his educators and the friends he has made. All the team are well‑informed and welcoming and know the kids and parents very well. I really do sense the standard of care and development provided aids with the transition to school. We have been linked to Newhaven for 6 years and the team turnover is low, which is so comforting as a parent to know the kids have the same educators. The Manager is excellent as is the Assistant Manager and my kid’s educators, all approachable, supportive and it really is a lovely team. I have recommended the childcare centre and will continue to do so. My daughter attended Busy Bees childcare centre from 1 year old and transitioned through all the rooms, before graduating childcare centre in time to go to school.

They’re all so welcoming and welcoming, I have complete trust in them and more importantly, my daughter loves it. They’re very informative and consistently exploring new ideas to assistance the kids’s development. My daughter can be quite shy and doesn’t trust people easily. I was really concerned about her returning after lockdown but I needn’t have worried as the team ensured she settled in really well and supported her (and me!) to make sure she was comfortable and cheerful. The Parents app is fantastic and gives me a real glimpse into what she’s doing at childcare centre as the team upload photos and development information. As mentioned above I sense the team really care about the kids, they’re invested and seem really cheerful and engaging. The manager and the team are excellent and I couldn’t think of a childcare centre. My daughter has been attending Newhaven since she was around 9 months old and has transitioned through the different rooms and I can’t speak more highly of the childcare centre and the team.

They nurture and develop the kids with care and commitment. My son thoroughly enjoys childcare centre and his speech and physical self‑assurance had progressed well while attending there twice a week. The activities he partakes in are engaging and he has opportunities for both independent and group playtime and activities. His meals are balanced and there is a great variety. The outdoor facilities are small but have been improved upon recently with the addition of a tunnel and other equipment that enhances physical activity. The team also utilise the gym equipment and space when the weather is bad, which is a huge positive. The kids are taken on walks in the local setting but not as much as I would like. Overall, this childcare centre is outstanding for my son for two days a week attendance, what it lacks is outdoor space size, which it makes up for with truly outstanding team and activity planning. The team are outstanding.

He has settled well into each room that he has been in, and the setting is really close-knit, so even though he may have moved up, he still interacts with previous key workers. He looks forward to going in each day, and the updates is excellent, I really like the app as it’s nice to see little snapshots of what happens during his days there. It also helps for us to track how he’s eating too – the food is fab too. They manage to get him to eat things he won’t eat at home. They’ve also handled COVID-19 really well, and I’m confident in the procedures they have in place. My little boy has been attending Busy Bees at Newhaven since he was 9-months-old and I genuinely cannot rate the team and managers any higher.

During lockdown, I did a lot of the activities on the Busy Bees app. It gave me plenty of ideas and it stopped my son being bored at home.
My son has just transitioned into the preschool room and it went really well. He visited the room the week before and he settled in really quickly. All the team are so welcoming and seem to really delight in their work.
I adore that the food is prepared fresh on-site, they were able to cater for my son’s dietary needs.
The manager is really approachable and is very well‑informed about all the kids. I was really nervous about putting my son into childcare centre and had visited a few places but didn’t like the sense of them.
