Busy Bees Newbury

My kids enjoy going to Busy Bees, Newbury. Post covid, you can now go back into the childcare centre for drop off and collections, so you can get a glimpse of the little ones playing in their rooms, which is lovely. They have also reintroduced the parents’ evenings, although you can always get time to speak with the team if/when needed. Overall, I would suggest the early‑years hub. The personnel are always cordial and accommodating, doing whatever they can to ensure the youngsters are thrilled. When choosing a nursery setting, we looked at a few local options, but this one had the best feel about it. Some of the team have been there a long time, which says something about the place as a whole, I think.

She has only been there for three months but you wouldn’t know it. Everyone worked together to settle her in and made it all so much less stressful. We already have one youngster at the early‑years hub so we’re assured that our second little one would treasure it. Thank you. Our little one found being away from home hard at first but the team were absolutely brilliant.

My little boy found it hard to settle in. The personnel were great though and after a hard few weeks, my little boy started to enjoy going. He eats everything they give him (which doesn’t happen at home) and has really good naps. It makes it easier going back to work knowing he is having a great time. He now gets so excited when he arrives and doesn’t want to leave.

My young lad joins and I really feel that he is looked after well. The personnel recognised he was shy and unsure and have done their best to put him at ease, because of this he has settled in well. The crew greet us warmly every day. I feel informed and supported by all team at Busy Bees. My little one has been attending Busy Bees since October. From the moment we met the crew there we have felt welcomed. As a mum of 5, my youngsters have was enrolled at various nurseries over the years and Busy Bees is definitely the best.

The team are incredible and my little boy treasures it, especially one member of personnel in particular, who is a credit to the company. Great childcare centre! The app is great and keeps contact between parents and childcare centre extremely smooth, especially with knowing what your kid has eaten.

In a short time both girls have developed a real bond with their key person and this is due to the kind, caring and fun nature of the team members. I need not have worried, from their settling sessions onward’s the personnel at Busy Bees at Newbury have been fantastic. Both kids had previously been at childcare centre and pre-school, were settled, had friends and I was truly nervous about the huge changes they were going through with the new house, moving away from friends as well as starting a new childcare centre. We have not had a single day where the girls have not wanted to go into nursery setting and they both come out with huge smiles on their faces at the end of each day, with stories of what they have been doing all day. Our two girls joined Busy Bees at Newbury a month ago after we moved to the Newbury area. I cannot suggest the manager and her team enough!

It’s not been the easiest of times given the pandemic for 2 years – I believe they did their best against the open challenges. My little one has enjoyed his 3 years of time at Busy Bees childcare centre and I would endorse it for anyone else. Compared to any other childcare centre, the fee was a reasonable one, especially for a little one attending all 5 days. My little one will really miss attending this early‑years hub as he plans to start school from September.

The daily updated online system which tracks your child’s improvement both on a daily short term level and across months in terms of their progress is incredibly supportive and gives you a real insight into their day and how they are progressing. I cannot advocate the childcare centre enthusiastically enough, from the tiny baby room to the preschool. Staff are welcoming, caring and listen to all concerns. All 3 of my little ones have joined the nursery setting and I have a 13-year relationship with the team – many of whom are still working here over a decade later!

I have had a few issues on the admin side with invoices being incorrect but otherwise, I’m exceptionally thrilled. It is a pity we haven’t been able to do things like the carol concerts due to covid and that we can’t enter anymore. The manager is excellent and lovely. Busy Bees team are always truly caring and welcoming and my little one enjoys going to pre-school. The activities such as paintings, photo frames, gifts at Christmas – like the reindeer food are exceptionally creative and thoughtful.

Given our young lad so much confidence and great experiences. Total trust in the early‑years hub – suggest to all. Cannot wait to see his brother treasure it too! Don’t enjoy the app – it often won’t log in and then logs out, this needs addressing. Manager and team are so cordial, encouraging and engaging. They’ve got to know him so well.
