Busy Bees Harrogate Hornbeam Park

Team have consistently been incredibly attentive and genuinely excited as he makes progression with walking/talking, etc. Each day his carer tells me an anecdote of the day, which makes us all giggle.
We chose the childcare centre because it is purpose built, so feels much more spacious than others and there is step free secure and free access to outside areas. Activities vary from day to day, with crafting, singing, dancing, role playtime and outdoor playtime.
He loves it so much, some days, I have to pull him away from what he’s doing! My two and a half year old son has been cared for by the childcare centre since he was nine months old.

The team are highly welcoming and approachable. Both my kids adore their key workers. The team greet my kids every morning and give me direct feedback at the end of every day. There is also a ‘parentzone’ app that provides a more detailed account should I want to find out more. The food is varied and plentiful. A menu is listed on a board at the entrance for all parents to view. The facilities are also excellent – lots of space both inside and out. My oldest kid will leave this childcare centre in September to start school but the team have worked hard to prepare him for the move. He has a great understanding of numbers and letters and they have encouraged him to be more independent which should help his transition. In summary, this is a excellent childcare centre that I would highly suggest. I have two kids at this childcare centre that visit on a part time basis (3 full days / per week).

My little boy loves it here and gets so excited each day he goes. The team are so welcoming and are consistently willing to help. My little boy has developed so much since starting childcare centre and I would suggest this childcare centre to others. Overall, I am so cheerful with Busy Bees at Hornbeam Park.

We wanted to phase our daughter going back 3-days then 4-days a week, and the childcare centre was incredibly accommodating. Would highly suggest! We were worried our daughter would take a while to settle back into the childcare centre after lockdown, but she runs in excitedly every day she goes!

The care they provide is outstanding and every member of team is attentive, welcoming and approachable. The activities they do with the kids are well varied and the preschool project that is undertaken is exceptional in getting kids ready for preparing them for their next steps in starting school. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to any prospective parent. Both my kids have attended Busy Bees at Hornbeam Park I cannot suggest them enough.

All team are highly welcoming and reassuring for both my 2 and 4-year-old. Team have answered all queries and management are exceptionally expert and considerate.
The transition to Preschool and the preparation has been remarkable and truly well-considered to cover things like group time, getting changed for PE and lunchtime.
There has also been a excellent programme of development for language, letter recognition and beginning to write his own name.
My son has been welcomed into the group and I am sad to see him leaving the friends he has made on his next transition to school.
My 2-year-old has been engaged in lots of activities that provide a range of media and are well prepared for outside and indoor playtime.
The outside space is the best I have seen when looking for a childcare centre and the building is large, airy and set up for the purpose. My two kids have been highly well looked after at this childcare.

They consistently accommodated our request for any changes and we are as parents are so grateful for this. My daughter has been attending for the past 3 years and she was consistently cheerful. The outdoor area is truly nice with great equipment and toys. Great choice of healthy food. Nice and spotless facilities. I can suggest! My daughter loves going to childcare centre every day, the team is incredible, welcoming a attentive.

We checked out a few nurseries in the area, and none gave us that feeling until we visited Busy Bees. When we had a look around, the manager showed us all the areas our boy would be playing in etc, the facilities were excellent and it just felt right.
We signed up and although he had a relatively rocky start (as expected when moving to a new childcare centre) he settled after a week or so and now loves childcare centre days, picks his bag up and is ready to leave in the morning to go. He toddles in happily now and we can tell he loves his time there. The feedback we get of an evening when collecting him is genuine, useful and positive.
Couldn’t be happier with our decision to move him to this childcare centre. We have recently moved to the area, having to move our 18-month-old boy from his childcare centre where we used to live, to Busy Bees at Hornbeam Park.

My daughter has grown so much more confident since attending and she is consistently cheerful at drop off and pick up. I would definitely suggest. A fantastic childcare centre, with team who are incredibly nurturing and attentive.

The childcare centre is well organised without being too corporate. The kids are truly cheerful here and come back discovering new things every day having had excellent experiences. The team are absolutely lovely, truly care about their job and the kids.
