Busy Bees Colton Mill

My son loves going and consistently has so much enjoyable. He has formed a strong bond with his key worker – the team here are all remarkable. It makes it so much easier to go to work knowing that he’s in such great hands. The team at Busy Bees are so encouraging and they are consistently introducing the kids to different things and different holidays and are consistently finding ways to aid their development. The people, the meals/snacks and the general setting are all exceptional and I’m highly cheerful for my little one to attend three days a week. Busy Bees Colton Mill is remarkable.

Their backup of being part of a larger group was exceptional during the pandemic too. The team are outstanding and we thank them for their care, adore and dedication to our family over the past few years. Don’t hesitate to choose them, they do everything and more for your little one. Busy Bees at Colton have been excellent.

We have experienced nothing but great since the first settling sessions. Our daughter has become confident in social circles, is confident within herself and has a determination to succeed, all because, we believe, her time at childcare centre. Could not ask for better care whilst we have to go to work. My kid has been attending Busy Bees, Leeds since August 2015.

Do not be fooled by the reviews. These somehow look like had been written by the same person. The information about the childcare centre, meals – is inaccurate: they do not serve 5 meals/day as advertised and they still say it is 5 meals a day despite us pointing it out to them. When it comes to nappy changes, a kid can go without their nappy being changed even for 4 hours. Before you sign up, they’ll say it is up to 2 hours. We often have to call and ask for our kid to be changed. Our kid ends up with a nappy rash and once even with a skin infection because of being in a wet or/and soiled nappy for hours. When concerns are raised, promises are being made but rarely there is any improvement. We find the childcare centre also to be an unsafe setting because of the equipment there and the incident with choking. The company seems to be focused heavily on marketing most of all and that’s what attracts parents but what they deliver is overall poor. Overall journey with Busy Bees Colton is poor.

The facilities, activities, menu, and feedback that they provide via the app is all highly great. We have also been exceptionally impressed with the team that have supported/cared for our kids through the years, and will certainly miss them once our kid reaches school age. Both of our kids have attended the childcare centre and we couldn’t be happier with all that they offer.

Regular updates via the Parentzone app. Lots of events happening to break up the day to day (book day, charity events, etc).
My kid is cheerful, has enjoyable and learns – we are consistently surprised by what she has learnt that day! Team are welcoming and supportive.

The team are consistently welcoming, highly expert and able to provide feedback on our daughter’s day, whether or not they are her key worker. We adore that she often paints and makes things and that activities are themed around Halloween, Christmas etc. Updates are consistently provided on the app and there is a strong focus on discovering and development, even though she is only 14 months. We would highly suggest the childcare centre to other parents. We have been incredibly impressed with the service and level of care our daughter has received since joining the childcare centre in early September.

I went to view the childcare centre after looking at a few nearby. I was truly impressed with the childcare centre, a separate room for his class for eating and sleeping. The outdoor area also looks excellent for my active little one. The team are remarkable especially two in particular, consistently attentive and making sure his needs are met. Whenever I pick him up they are consistently reading or singing to the kids. The app is excellent, I consistently know what my little boy has eaten and get lots of pictures of him discovering and playing. The food is remarkable, such a excellent choice of meals which are healthy, but also sound delicious and encouraging for him to try new flavours! Cheerful I found this place. Started sending my little boy in October.

He’s grown in self‑assurance tenfold and we’re noticing that he is so cheerful and content on childcare centre days.

His key worker has created such a special bond with our son; it’s clear he adores him. His time and patience with our son and his care around his needs is truly heartwarming and we’re so thankful for his hard work with him. He’s highly clear at sharing information with me as well which I highly much appreciate – it’s highly reassuring.

We’re excited to see how our son grows with you! Both myself and my kid’s dad have noticed the difference in our son since starting with you and we do attribute much of it to the care and attention that you provide him.

She particularly enjoys one creative and cookery activities. I would highly suggest the childcare centre to others. We are thrilled with the care our kid receives at Busy Bees at Colton Mill, since starting in June 2018, she has progressed well, with social skills, eating and speech – I adore receiving pictures and reports of her undertaking a range of activities.
