Busy Bees Cheltenham Prestbury Road

My 3-year-old switched nurseries in December 2020 to this one and I can honestly say it’s been such a smooth transition. All the staff members I have encountered have been very friendly and professional and the nursery workers in the preschool section are so polite and enthusiastic. My daughter has been made to feel so welcome and the managers have been very helpful in sorting out the admin and transition of fees, etc. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic nursery! Both of our children attended Prestbury Road and loved it. The facilities are great and we liked that there was an emphasis on spending as much time outside as possible. The meals are nutritious, varied and (I’m reliably informed) very tasty. The setting in a bungalow feels homey and I think it helped our children to feel comfortable and settled. The staff are amazing – all clearly genuinely care about the children they look after. Our kids have left nursery as confident, school-ready little people and we would definitely recommend it to other parents.

Both my children attend Busy Bees Prestbury Road and absolutely love it. The communication and staff are amazing. Really supportive to my boys’ development and well being. One of my boys’ is a very fussy eater and they accommodate him well Would highly recommend.

Busy Bees has very caring staff who have the best interests of my daughter at heart and keep me well informed on her development as well as her day to day activities while with them. She does a range of activities every day and has a lot of fun there.

Our boys absolutely love it at nursery! They really enjoy the activities and like all the staff. We think the app is brilliant, as we can keep up with what the boys are doing throughout the day and see pictures. The staff keep us updated if there are ever any minor accidents or issues, so we know the boys are in safe hands. It’s a fantastic nursery and I would recommend it to other parents.

Prestbury Road Nursery is fantastic. All the staff from the cook to the management are all so warm and friendly. The nursery staff are so creative in finding different ways for the children to explore and learn through sensory play. The rooms are all so lovely, when I looked around I loved how they were all set up with the children in mind. The baby room, where my son is, allows for babies to cruise around the room safely and all toys are accessible for them to explore independently. The gardens and outside space is massive and safe, great for outdoor play. My baby is always smiling when he goes into nursery and is full of beans and happy when I collect him. They take great care of my baby son, which makes me happy when I drop him off, that I know he is well looked after. The staff were all so reassuring when my son first started and couldn’t accommodate us enough, which made going back to work so much easier. Thank you, Prestbury Road.

My little treasure joined this nursery when he was 9 months old and I can see how much he loves it. He comes back home with a massive smile on his face. He loves all the food (requests doubles) and he has established amazing relationships with all the staff, but has an extra special bond with the room manager. I just want to take this opportunity to say a big thank you, to you all.

The staff at Busy Bees are wonderful. Our daughter loves her days there. They seem to arrange a broad range of activities for the children and we are really happy with how they are supporting our daughter’s development.

This is a lovely nursery with dedicated staff who are welcoming and friendly. I like that it’s not too big, feels like the staff all get to know the parents and children very well. My daughter has been coming for 2 years, she loves her teachers and has made some great little friends too. The key staff in the rooms work very hard to make the environments fun and engaging, they take great care of the kids, and get to know their individual personalities. My daughter is now in the pre-school room, getting ready for school in September!! The staff are providing a great nurturing mix of early learning education along with all sorts of activities including role play, good old messy play and running about in the garden, weather permitting! The cooks are firm favourites too and she loves almost all the food, I’m often envious myself! The parent app is also handy with regular updates on meal times, learning snapshots & photo’s of activities. I’m so happy with the whole experience.

Our daughter has attended the nursery since she was 9 months old and we’re happy with how she’s developing there. She’s always excited to go into nursery in the morning and see the staff.
Positives:
– really lovely staff who genuinely care about her well-being and enjoyment
– generally, a good variety of foods to keep her trying new things
– lots of playtime in the garden
– staff are responsive to parental requests for support, e.g. role-playing something at nursery that the child may be struggling with at home.
– excellent daily summary via the app, plus an in-person handover at pick-up.

Could be better:
– indoor space is used well but is relatively small therefore there are very few gross-motor physical development toys e.g steps, ramps, tunnels
– some of the children’s rooms have to be used as transit to other rooms, therefore you have parents of other age groups walking through the room, including during nap time.
