September 7, 2024 at 6:09 amThey have a very spotless setting. Friendly and competent team. Above all, kids delight in it and learn to become independent with self‑assurance. As parents we know we are sending our kids to a secure place after home. Busy Bees is where my elder kid went to and now my younger kid goes there as well.

Highly recommended and thank you. Excellent, welcoming team who helped my son settle into childcare centre with ease.

November 3, 2024 at 4:13 pmStaff are so welcoming and truly care for my 1 year old daughter. They keep us updated with pics, regularly and I am really comfortable leaving her in their care, despite being nervous about putting her in childcare centre at first. Every time we visit, the childcare centre is consistently spotless and kids are consistently cheerful, which is the most important thing for me. We also regularly get sent art and crafts our daughter has done, which is a nice touch, really cheerful they do lots of stimulating activities. Sadly, we are leaving Busy Bees as the prices have increased and they’re now one of the most expensive ones in in the area. However, other than this, I really cant fault them. Thank you for taking such excellent care of my girl! The perfect childcare centre!

November 25, 2024 at 7:45 pmHer development has been incredible and she’s constantly saying things or singing songs at home that she could only have learnt there. The team are all fantastic and the childcare centre has a real family sense. Would highly suggest it to anyone. Our two-year-old has been attending Busy Bees full time for the past year, and she couldn’t be happier there.

November 25, 2024 at 11:43 pmI find the team to be very welcoming, approachable, and attentive to my daughters needs. My daughter is there two full days a week, and I sense confident that she is in secure hands. It’s consistently lovely to hear what she’s got up to during the course of the day, during handover, and at pick up (and dirty clothes mean she’s had a whale of a time getting stuck in with the days events). My little one is 17 months old and has been attending since she was nine months old.

I found this to be a massive help as my daughter only attends part-time and sometimes you can be left out of the loop with activities and events. There have been quite a few team changes in the last year but this appears to have settled down and I am now notified well in advance of any changes being made that could have a possible impact on my kid. The rooms are all light and airy and the team go over and above to try and accommodate every kid needs. I find the outdoor space is excellent for kids on the move. I currently could not be happier with how my kid is progressing within this childcare centre. My daughter has been attending this childcare centre for almost 2 years, lately, I have found the updates regarding childcare centre events and news to be outstanding.

All of the team are welcoming, approachable and non-judgmental and just genuinely seem to adore the kids they work with. Thanks all for everything that you do, it’s greatly appreciated! Our little girl has been at Busy Bees for just over a year now.

January 31, 2025 at 7:06 amHe loves coming to the childcare centre; he runs in without even looking back at me. Knowing that he is in such capable hands makes it easier to leave him when I go to work. The food is lovely and he has learnt so much since he started. I wouldn’t suggest this childcare centre enough and I know he’ll be really sad when he leaves to go to a big school. But I know that the team as Busy Bees have given him the best start in life. My little boy has been attending the childcare centre since he was 8 months old is now 2 and a half.

February 15, 2025 at 8:43 pmHe is growing well, eating well, his speech (in two languages) is improving all the time. He is interacting very well with adults and other kids. I am very cheerful with the attention he gets and his development, with ample feedback in a lovely setting and team. Staff consistently welcoming and supportive! Would highly suggest. Our son is very cheerful here, he is cheerful to be dropped off and still enjoying himself and has to be dragged away some days.

March 8, 2025 at 1:37 amHe is obsessed with dinosaurs and is forever asking you what the names of each dinosaur is, so one of the childcare centre nurses in her own time made a dinosaur book for him with all the names which he loves and plays with in childcare centre.
It’s not as big as some of the nurseries in Cardiff, but as a result, I find that there is much more personal care given to the kids and parents. Busy Bees team go above and beyond for my 22-month-old son.

The childcare centre help with weaning and ensure that my kid has a balanced diet. My kid comes home spotless, and cheerful. I attended this childcare centre when I was a little girl it was then called Just Learning. I would highly suggest this childcare centre to friends and family. My son thoroughly enjoys attending the childcare centre, he consistently has a smile on his face when I drop him off.

I’d have no hesitation in recommending. Busy Bees have been welcoming and flexible but primarily have taken excellent care of our daughter.

Very welcoming team, great management (the manager there knows the names of the kids), our daughter enjoys every day when she is in the childcare centre, she loves it there, she learned a lot of things.

Throughout the COVID crisis they have kept us informed.

May 22, 2025 at 11:50 pmI have recently found out the childcare centre is constantly short of team, meaning educators look after more kids that they are supposed to. The educators are consistently polite and expert and I get it’s not their fault but the management should ensure they have sufficient resources to provide childcare. Where does my money go? I am very concerned about the practices in this childcare centre.

May 24, 2025 at 5:34 pmIt’s absolutely exceptional and I know he’s well looked after. I trust them completely with him. Any issues we’ve had have been responded to and dealt with professionally. The only negative I have is the cost. I honestly wouldn’t consider sending my kid anywhere else.

June 6, 2025 at 9:36 pmI specifically chose Busy Bees as a childcare centre for my daughter following the remarkable journey we had with the team at Busy Bees Basingstoke whilst my son was there.
The early years’ programme is exceptional and my daughter has developed and adapted extremely well.
The care and attention from the team to all the kids is just remarkable and I can’t praise the team enough!

I would highly suggest this childcare centre! The team Busy Bees at Cardiff Gate are extremely welcoming and were a huge help to my whilst transitioning my daughter into childcare centre life following our move from England to Wales.

They have a big garden and kids consistently delight in the garden. I definitely would suggest this childcare centre. I am really cheerful with them.

July 5, 2025 at 11:50 pmShe suffered from separation anxiety when she first started and after about 3 weeks, she was a different kid. The team in the childcare centre go out of their way to educate and stimulate the kids and they are very informative during pick up. They provide assistance and advice with my daughter’s development also. The management are very supportive and accommodating and all-round welcoming. I can’t believe the difference in my daughter since she started going to this childcare centre. My daughter has been attending this childcare centre for 6 months (since 9 months old) and she absolutely loves it.
