December 16, 2016 at 12:00 amBusy Bees have been friendly and flexible but primarily have taken great care of our daughter. Without exception, staff have been polite, attentive and caring and our daughter clearly enjoys her time at nursery and has become very fond of a number of the Busy Bees team. I’d have no hesitation in recommending.

February 20, 2018 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending this nursery for almost 2 years, lately, I have found the communication regarding nursery events and news to be excellent. It has definitely improved in the last few months. I found this to be a massive help as my daughter only attends part-time and sometimes you can be left out of the loop with activities and events. There have been quite a few staff changes in the last year but this appears to have settled down and I am now notified well in advance of any changes being made that could have a possible impact on my child. The rooms are all light and airy and the staff go over and above to try and accommodate every child needs. I find the outdoor space is great for children on the move. I currently could not be happier with how my child is progressing within this nursery.

November 14, 2018 at 12:00 amMy son thoroughly enjoys attending the nursery, he always has a smile on his face when I drop him off. I feel confident in leaving him there as the staff are lovely and connect with the children really well. The nursery help with weaning and ensure that my child has a balanced diet. My child comes home clean, and happy. I attended this nursery when I was a little girl it was then called Just Learning. I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family.

December 13, 2018 at 12:00 amMy little boy has been attending the nursery since he was 8 months old is now 2 and a half. He loves coming to the nursery; he runs in without even looking back at me. Knowing that he is in such capable hands makes it easier to leave him when I go to work. The food is lovely and he has learnt so much since he started. I wouldn’t recommend this nursery enough and I know he’ll be really sad when he leaves to go to a big school. But I know that the staff as Busy Bees have given him the best start in life.

I have recently found out the nursery is constantly short of staff, meaning teachers look after more children that they are supposed to. The teachers are always polite and professional and I get it’s not their fault but the management should ensure they have sufficient resources to provide childcare. Where does my money go?

October 28, 2019 at 12:00 amThe staff Busy Bees at Cardiff Gate are extremely friendly and were a huge help to my whilst transitioning my daughter into nursery life following our move from England to Wales.
I specifically chose Busy Bees as a nursery for my daughter following the fantastic experience we had with the team at Busy Bees Basingstoke whilst my son was there.
The early years’ programme is brilliant and my daughter has developed and adapted extremely well.
The care and attention from the staff to all the children is just fantastic and I can’t praise the team enough!
Thank you Busy Bees Cardiff Gate for all you do for our daughter!

October 28, 2019 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been attending this nursery for 6 months (since 9 months old) and she absolutely loves it. She suffered from separation anxiety when she first started and after about 3 weeks, she was a different child. The staff in the nursery go out of their way to educate and stimulate the children and they are very informative during pick up. They provide assistance and advice with my daughter’s development also. The management are very helpful and accommodating and all-round friendly. I can’t believe the difference in my daughter since she started going to this nursery.

October 28, 2019 at 12:00 amI honestly wouldn’t consider sending my child anywhere else. It’s absolutely brilliant and I know he’s well looked after. I trust them completely with him. Any issues we’ve had have been responded to and dealt with professionally. The only negative I have is the cost.

I find the staff to be very friendly, approachable, and attentive to my daughters needs. My daughter is there two full days a week, and I feel confident that she is in safe hands. It’s always lovely to hear what she’s got up to during the course of the day, during handover, and at pick up (and dirty clothes mean she’s had a whale of a time getting stuck in with the days events).

Her development has been incredible and she’s constantly saying things or singing songs at home that she could only have learnt there. The staff are all wonderful and the nursery has a real family feel. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

November 18, 2019 at 12:00 amOur son is very happy here, he is happy to be dropped off and still enjoying himself and has to be dragged away some days. He is growing well, eating well, his speech (in two languages) is improving all the time. He is interacting very well with adults and other children. I am very happy with the attention he gets and his progress, with ample feedback in a lovely environment and team. Staff always friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend.

Throughout the COVID crisis they have kept us informed.

September 15, 2020 at 12:00 amVery friendly staff, good management (the manager there knows the names of the children), our daughter enjoys every day when she is in the nursery, she loves it there, she learned a lot of things. We are very happy with this nursery and my husband and I do recommend it. We feel safe when our daughter is in there.

Above all, kids enjoy it and learn to become independent with confidence. As parents we know we are sending our kids to a safe place after home.

He is obsessed with dinosaurs and is forever asking you what the names of each dinosaur is, so one of the nursery nurses in her own time made a dinosaur book for him with all the names which he loves and plays with in nursery.
It’s not as big as some of the nurseries in Cardiff, but as a result, I find that there is much more personal care given to the children and parents.

January 5, 2023 at 12:00 amThe perfect nursery! Staff are so friendly and truly care for my 1 year old daughter. They keep us updated with pics, regularly and I am really comfortable leaving her in their care, despite being nervous about putting her in nursery at first. Every time we visit, the nursery is always clean and children are always happy, which is the most important thing for me. We also regularly get sent art and crafts our daughter has done, which is a nice touch, really happy they do lots of stimulating activities. Sadly, we are leaving Busy Bees as the prices have increased and they’re now one of the most expensive ones in in the area. However, other than this, I really cant fault them. Thank you for taking such great care of my girl!

The team are fab at keeping the app up to date and I love seeing what she gets up to during the day. All of the staff are friendly, approachable and non-judgmental and just genuinely seem to love the kids they work with. Thanks all for everything that you do, it’s greatly appreciated!
