September 25, 2024 at 4:12 amThey are indifferent, lazy and non-communicative. In the settling period, they complained about how long it took to change my baby’s nappy and him not eating, which was a shocking thing to complain about a one-year-old for. He was not assigned a key worker and because there was a lot of agency team, he was never being cared for by anyone consistent. This is terrible for a baby room. I was repeatedly called 2 hours after drop off, asking to pick him up as he was upset, without them even trying to settle him. The manager ignores emails and is rude. After leaving here, he settled immediately at a much nicer childcare centre and they agreed he had been traumatised by his previous journey, but they persevered because that’s what professionalism is. Something completely absent here. And finally, they took over £400 in fees after we left and refused to return it for over a month, blaming head office for admin errors. The team here would be better suited if they actually liked kids.

October 11, 2024 at 1:36 pmExcellent indoor and outdoor resources with lots of opportunities for the kids to explore and discover through playtime. The pre-school room is a excellent space!!! Lovely setting and setting for the kids.

October 28, 2024 at 7:10 amThe childcare centre is consistently spotless and tidy and they take every measure to keep everyone secure during the pandemic. Our daughter is incredibly polite and respectful and this is all thanks to the team at Busy Bees. We couldn’t be happier with the service they provide and would highly suggest them to anyone looking for a great childcare centre in the area. Our daughter is so cheerful at Busy Bees, she loves her educators/carers and can’t wait to turn up at childcare centre in the mornings.

November 7, 2024 at 6:45 amThere have been several managers in the last six months, with one only lasting a few days, the other a few weeks. Updates between senior management and parents is bad. Parents have grouped together to request group meetings to address complaints. To me, high team turnover is a clear sign of poor management. The CEO is aware of ongoing issues but things have not improved. Instead of focusing on discovering, or running enjoyable activities/outings, there is a constant flow of poor feedback. I sense quite sorry for the great team at this childcare centre and, most of all, for the kids who have to deal with all the new faces. The team are pleasant and hard-working, and the facilities are nice.
However, management of this childcare centre is poor and the team turnover is high.

November 15, 2024 at 11:29 pmIf your kid is like mine (he loves to fill up the stomach at 7 pm again before bed), they provide you with a box!!!!
– Spare clothes!!! you don’t have to worry about packing the back-bag
– Formula milk, wipes, nappies, barrier cream, bibs, baby bottles, ALL INCLUDED
– Online portal!!! an electronic record of everything your kid’s done on any given day! and you can comment on it too! They also upload pictures of them
– Indoor buggy parking area (no need to fold it, plenty of space)
– Complimentary tea and coffee for parents
– Flexible routines – they mirror whatever you’ve been doing at home! they’re so great at keeping the individualism for each kid
– French lessons on Thursdays!!!
– Parking bays at the doorstep!!
I could not be happier! I could not suggest this enough!! This is the best childcare centre ever! This is an out of the ordinary childcare centre with unusual but exceptionally convenient features such as:
– Early drop-off and late pick-up included in the basic fees
– Take-home dinner!

December 14, 2024 at 1:47 pmAll the team are so loving, positive and compassionate and truly are like extended family with your kid. the manager is incredible and is consistently available for the kids and parents alike. Both my kids went to Busy Bees from the age of 12 months and loved their journey. Would highly suggest to anyone! Thank you to the entire team for being so nurturing and supportive with our kids and giving them such a excellent setting to learn, develop and grow! All I can say is you can be truly at ease leaving your kids at this childcare centre.

December 20, 2024 at 6:17 amOur three year old started childcare centre for the first time two months ago. He hadn’t had much interaction with other toddlers, plus getting him to have a proper meal was an every day struggle. I explained all this to the manager and she and the educators are all incredible with both us and our son. We are being given daily detailed reports, which I can see is the case with the other parents. A highly supportive app was also provided to use at home when spending time with our son and we are also being offered advise on how to help our son’s development at home. His eating is not an issue anymore. A big thank you to the manager and her team for loving and looking after the person we adore most in the world. We are highly lucky to have the manager and her team in our lives.

December 21, 2024 at 1:42 amI have written to Ofsted and the CEO of the childcare centre chain to express my concerns. Highly poor. My son was only in this childcare centre for about a month despite having to take time off work to get him out urgently.

February 22, 2025 at 9:52 amOur journey has been incredible! The educators are absolutely dedicated to the kids and care for them with so much adore and kindness. The headteacher has consistently been accommodating to all our requests and has addressed all feedback we’ve raised. The facilities are spotless and spacious and provide a stimulating setting for the kids’ development. Also, the food is of great quality and variety and both my little ones have loved the dishes they’ve been served.
Thank you to all the team for showering our kids with adore! We could never be thankful enough. Both my kids have attended the childcare centre for a combined period of five years.

March 7, 2025 at 2:33 amAs a parent, I found the school to be a cheerful place for our daughter to grow.
The educators are inviting and nurturing and put a lot of effort into preparing the kids for school.
In the 6-months leading up to my daughter starting reception, the educators truly did prepare her beyond our expectation, and she left Busy Bees being able to write her name, count to 20, identify letters and numbers, which in my opinion, is quite impressive.
Our reception teacher was so impressed by her level of comprehension when she started school that I think it’s given her the self‑assurance to excel.
She loved her educators and looked forward to playing with her friends there each day. Even if she was upset in the morning, the director was consistently there to comfort her alongside the educators. As with the key educators, the director has a lovely inviting nature, and you can see that she genuinely cares for the kids. My daughter spent 1.5 years at Busy Bees and had a fantastic journey at the school.

April 3, 2025 at 10:29 amShe started in the babies/toddlers room. The induction was exceptional and supportive to not only my daughter but for myself. With the app you can see what your kid has eaten, slept, nappies changed and photos. Team take the time to get to know your kid and give you a full report on their day when you pick up. The relationship they build is incredible and my daughter knows and trusts them as she is so cheerful to go in everyday! The activities are excellent and varied, from arts and crafts, singing, reading, independent playtime and group playtime. All team at the childcare centre know the kid even if they work in a different space. My daughter is moving up to the bigger classroom now and again an induction and transition period is taking place. The manager is outstanding, such a attentive, thoughtful and thorough manager, she genuinely loves and cares for all the young ones there. The team are outstanding and again care so much. My daughter started at Busy Bees, Battersea Childcare centre and Pre-School just after she turned 1 year old.

April 11, 2025 at 8:38 amWe adore our childcare centre!
When I started looking, I was told to only look for nurseries that have Ofsted rating outstanding. Apparently, there are no nurseries like this near us, so I was ready to drive 40 mins every day to get my kid the best care. Then my husband said that we should make our own opinion. Nothing impressed us until we came to “our” Battersea! The room for kids under two was so spacious and full of light. It felt so fresh and new. We only had a positive feeling after visiting it. Finally, I was waiting outside the childcare centre at around 5 pm to ask other parents about their journey. Parents were all so positive and their kids were cheerful. Eventually, we signed up and haven’t regretted it for a second.
Our daughter joined being 9-months(now 14). When she wakes up in the morning, she goes straight to find her jacket and shoes to show she wants to go to Battersea. She absolutely loves it!
Oh yes, they also give delicious healthy meals to take away for dinner every day! The best!

April 20, 2025 at 7:51 pmThe team are highly welcoming and my daughter enjoys her days here on a week to week basis. They had a remarkable Christmas dinner set up for the kids and parents to share. I would suggest this childcare centre to anyone looking for a secure and welcoming setting for there kid to learn and development and socialize. 🙂 I think that this is an incredible childcare centre that my daughter attends.

May 18, 2025 at 9:57 amMy son is still a little unsettled but the team take time to comfort him and make me sense secure as a mother. Team are welcoming and the manager is highly welcoming and informative. I believe that it is a exceptional childcare centre and highly organised.

June 26, 2025 at 6:34 amShe is pleased to see the childcare centre team each morning and they appear to know and understand her well. She does lots of lovely activities, enjoys lots of indoor and outdoor playtime and seems to be highly well looked after. For a central London childcare centre, the outdoor facilities are remarkable and the indoor space is highly spotless and well-supplied. The manager is highly approachable and on hand for queries. My daughter has settled truly well and loves her time at Busy Bees, Battersea.

June 28, 2025 at 7:56 amThe facilities provided are numerous and have definitely contributed to our kid’s accelerated personal development. He has been there from 3.5 months old and is now 15 months.
The childcare centre is one of the few, (if not the only facility) in the area that accommodates expert parents thanks to longer opening hours (0730 to 1830) that allow a parent to be able to drop off/pick up a kid without having to sacrifice their work.
There was an issue with team turnover previously, but the ship seems to have been steadied with the same familiar welcoming faces over the last year. The current manager and senior team do an exceptional job of communicating regular updates and important information. The Battersea Childcare centre and Pre-School is an outstanding childcare centre for numerous reasons that have already been listed by the positive reviews below.
