Brooksward Day Nursery

They provide daily updates on my son’s activities whilst being there. I adore the fact they do a progress sheet every month or so, so I can see how my little one is getting on. Can not fault this nursery, the team are incredible. My son has such a delightful time there. He started pretty much barely speaking and they have helped boost his confidence and we now have a little chatterbox. Extremely inviting with my son on arrival, even when he’s not having such a excellent day they have endless cuddles for him to help him settle.

We notice new growth aspects each week and adore sharing what she has been doing with family and friends. To see the bonds she has with her caregivers from day one following her settling in sessions is truly comforting. Our daughter has been attending from the age of 6 months. The team truly know her interests and have given her delightful development opportunities through playtime within the indoor and outdoor environments.

My youngster has attended this nursery for the past 18 months. There is a low turnover of team so they get to know my youngster and he knows them. The team are approachable, knowledgeable and supportive and have helped my son to develop his independence. The facilities and outside space are truly excellent and the nursery even has a few pets for the kids to look after. My son truly enjoys attending this nursery and will be fully prepared for centre from his time here. The kids are encouraged to playtime outside and to be active. The nursery has varied activities and even has trips out within the local community and forest centre which my youngster loves.

We had some bad bits, but they have helped us and our wellbeing, to implant what we are doing at home‑like and they will do it at nursery. They are brilliant with how they look and help explore my little ones’ needs and imagination. I cannot fault the team at Brooksward.

Some management changes have led to some confusion, but both kids adore it. The team are nurturing and extremely supportive to us as parents. The activities are highly developmental and challenging for the youngsters involved which leads to elevated levels of problem-solving abilities. My son followed my daughter into the nursery.

I wish I had found the preschool sooner. I highly recommend Brooksward Day Nursery. Brooksward day Nursery is a fantastic place for little ones. The team there caregiving about the kids.

For me it was always important for her to feel secure and comfortable and that’s what this nursery provided her with. Having my granddaughter content and confident to attend a setting where she had excellent relationships with the team and kids, brought me nothing but happiness. My granddaughter adored attending this nursery, she transitioned from the toddler room through to the preschool and the consistency was nothing but reassuring. My granddaughter got to experience new things which she is unable to do at home‑like, and was always eager to tell me about her new experiences and achievements.

I never have to worry about his safety which as a parent is particularly reassuring. My son always feels content to go to nursery and he always has lots of interesting activities to get stuck into. Remarkable experience. Everyone is so nurturing and attentive.

On his first day the manager got the ball rolling for funding as we knew he needed extra assistance. She assigned the preschool SENCO as his key worker and within months he now has funding for extra assistance and is a completely different youngster! Would highly highly recommend! He always looks forward to going in and we put him in an extra day as he would wake up on a Friday and wait by the door to be dropped off. He was previously at a different nursery in Fishermead where he made absolutely no progress. My three year old boy has been attending since October 2020 and I truly wish I’d have enrolled him here sooner. He has since also been diagnosed with ASD but since his extremely first day, the level of caregiving shown to him from each team member ensured me that he felt welcome. He is achieving all his targets and milestones so fast we literally can’t keep up. He was previously non-verbal but with the effort and level of caregiving and attention by all the team at Brooksward Day Nursery, he is talking and is so much more sociable.

Best nursery I have used, team are approachable and the turnover of team is low. My daughter loves the team and feels comfortable with them. There is a development journey week for your youngster every few weeks (4-6 Weeks) which helps you see your youngster’s progression. Space is incredible for kids two outdoor area’s and three indoor rooms with new activities every day. Adore nursery and will continue to use them.
