The smiles on their faces at the end of the day are a excellent testament to that! The manager is exceptional at email communications and explaining updates – something that I know other nurseries fall down on, so we’re very grateful for this. The room team are just remarkable, we’ve warmed to them like friends and our kids adore them. Another big tick for us is how up to date the app is during the day, with photos and info about mealtimes etc. We are so grateful for all the team’s hard work and will miss them hugely when our oldest moves on to school! We really adore it here – we’ve consistently felt welcomed and informed as parents, secure in the knowledge that our kids are nurtured and looked after every day.

My son goes two days a week and has developed a excellent bond with his key workers. He does require additional assistance and this is consistently available, with team consistently willing to go above and beyond. Thank you for all the ongoing assistance – it is much appreciated! Incredibly welcoming and attentive atmosphere provided by all the incredible team!

Their commitment to making the kids that attend the childcare centre cheerful, fulfilled and settled is 100 per cent. My grandson has thrived his updates skills, independence and self‑assurance have grown and grown since he started over a year ago.
Communication with parents is consistent and regular, the team are compassionate and attentive. The food is freshly cooked to a very high standard, the well-researched menus are second to none. Regular healthy snacks alongside breakfast, lunch and tea keep my grandson satisfied and energetic through the day. Thank you, girls, you do an incredible job. What a fantastic setting, the team and Manager at Old Coulsdon are outstanding!

Both have enjoyed their time at the childcare centre immensely and I plan to keep my youngest at the setting until she too begins school. The team are attentive, know the kids well and are fully invested in both their well-being and their development. The childcare centre has handled the pandemic exceptionally well – their communications with parents are consistently excellent and their policies and procedures as per guidelines are very clearly followed.

They have gone out of their way to make sure everything was set up for her and continue to give her incredible care. She is thriving there, they do so many different activities, have a nice outdoor space and the rooms are consistently kept well organised and spotless. The menu variety they are offered is also incredible. My youngest daughter has also just started and is already enjoying all the toys and activities available. Bright Sparks, Old Coulsdon, have been incredible with our eldest daughter, who has some medical and developmental needs.

After two separate recommendations for Brightsparks Day Nursery, Old Coulsdon, we decided to give it a try and we could not be happier! They develop such a connection to the kids and everything they do is with such thought and care for the kids and parents. From the daily parent app updates, to the welcoming faces we are greeted with every day from the team. My daughter just recently started but has settled in so quickly. Thank you to all the fantastic team who do an outstanding job in such trying times. After a very poor journey with another childcare centre in my area, I was nervous about sending my daughter to another childcare centre setting.

The team and general setting of the childcare centre can only be described as inviting and welcoming. I would suggest Brightsparks to all of my family and friends.
