Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Fallowfield

The nursery is decent overall. My daughter enjoys her time there. The staff are very professional and friendly. I would have preferred the play area to be bigger, however it’s sufficient. I’m happy with the progress of my daughter.

Our son started at Brighter Beginnings when he was 7 months old in September 2019. All the staff who have worked with him have been so loving, supportive and genuinely show care and affection for the children they work with. The activities on offer are varied and offer great opportunities for exploration, learning, creativity and play. The children get so much enjoyment from the pet rabbit and ducks, which all roam freely amongst the children. They are fantastic at giving advice and guidance on how to manage new challenges at home and always take the time to talk through our child’s day. Our son is always happy to go to nursery and will often run in without looking back, excited to play with his keyworker and his friends.

We are very happy with the Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Fallowfield! We love the good handover at the end of the day, we love the staff who always seem to be very friendly and involved in all the daily activities that the kids are doing. We love the variety of tasks the kids are involved in and the variety of topics they cover. Especially I want to mention that it is absolutely great that children are motivated to spend lots of time outdoors. I love that the nursery has pets as well!
The only negative point that I would mention is that sometimes children are not reminded to change their of outdoor shoes to indoors (they can still wear wellies inside), but normally things like this do get picked up if the teachers are reminded and asked to give special attention.
If there will be such an opportunity, I would definitely take my new baby there when the time comes.

My daughter started the day nursery doing 15 hours in the afternoons and since she started there she enjoys it, the staff are very lovely. She is learning a lot and is developing new skills and is experiencing good things and getting to know the staff well. She enjoys her sessions at Brighter Beginnings Day Nursery, Fallowfield. I found the staff very helpful, excellent service and atmosphere.

I have two boys at nursery – 4 and 2 years old – and they love it! The staff have been amazing with them both and the boys really enjoy going to “school” during the week. Someone recommended Brighter Beginnings Fallowfield to us, and I would certainly recommend it to others. The care the staff has given to my two boys (who have very different personalities from each other) has been incredible, and I always feel I’m leaving them in safe and caring hands.

We are new to the UK. When my daughter joined the nursery one and a half years back, I had a lot of apprehensions. But our experience has been magical. It is such a supportive place with a lot of focus on each child’s needs. All the carers are so committed and dedicated. My daughter loves going to the nursery. I don’t have to worry about my kid’s safety when I go to work. I know that she is with the best team possible. And, they have so many interesting activities to keep the children busy. There is a lot of focus on holistic development. Hygiene wise they are exemplary. They even offer so much individualised support with potty training, meal requirements etc. Soon, we have to move cities due to professional reasons. I and my husband worry about how we will ever find a nursery as good as this for her. Five stars for Brighter Beginnings!

Our son has been attending Brighter Beginnings Fallowfield since he was 11 months old. The team have always been amazing at supporting him to settle, both at the beginning, when he returned after lockdown and as he transitioned to new rooms. He is incredibly happy there, and always has lots to tell us about his day. He often comes home singing songs that he has learnt or telling us about books they have read. We are continually impressed with the staff who plan such a range of great activities across the day as well as allowing space for independent play.

Such a beautiful nursery, inside and out. With experienced staff that are always very polite, helpful and friendly. Brighter Beginnings Fallowfield have an amazing manager who will always go above and beyond for children, parents and staff members. She is very welcoming and will always support staff and parents when needed, definitely the type of person that makes a workplace feel like a home.
I always feel relaxed and confident knowing that my children will be looked after well and are in safe hands.
By far the best nursery in the area.

Amazing staff, very welcoming, very caring with the children. The nursery itself is lovely bright and purpose built with so much for the children to do.
My little girl always comes home telling me about everything she has done in the day. I love the fact they are outside as much as possible.

Tomorrow is my daughter’s last day of nursery after over two years here and I can’t speak highly enough about Brighter Beginnings, Fallowfield. All staff are exceptionally warm, formed lovely bonds with our daughter and kept us informed on her learning and development through the fun and creative activities they do. We have loved seeing and hearing all these creative things, all the artwork and photos that have come home, the stories we hear and the songs our daughter shares with us that she sings regularly at nursery. Developmentally, her speech has really come on and socially she has made amazing friendships. It has exceeded all expectations of what we had of a nursery and so it was an easy transition sending our youngest (now 9-month-old) daughter there! A huge thank you to all staff for the ‘outstanding’ job you do!
