Bright Star Nursery - Chester-le-Street

My little boy has developed fantastically both socially and intellectually since starting the childcare centre and has become more confident in himself. Would highly suggest Bright Star childcare centre; team, facilities and discovering is remarkable.

The childcare centre has been exceptional from the start, especially when our son had loads of issues with food allergies and eczema; which needed monitoring and treatment.
He has become a very confident and sociable little boy; I believe that the childcare centre played a huge part in this.
Thank you to all the lovely ladies at Chester-Le-Street. Our son is 3-years-old and has been going to Bright Star childcare centre since he was 8-months-old.

All the team at Bright Stars Chester-Le-Street are welcoming and more than cheerful to help and give advice if you need it!
My little girl absolutely loves going and has an incredible bond with the girls in the big room; they are consistently doing enjoyable activity and crafts or going on mini adventures!

We were apprehensive about leaving her, however, the team were remarkable from the start. They know the kids incredibly well. They consistently take the time to discuss how our daughter’s day went. They don’t try to rush you and consistently assistance your parenting decisions when it comes to feeding, naps etc. The team are very flexible with pickups and drop-offs which suits our working hours nicely.
Most importantly, our daughter is very cheerful at this childcare centre. She is consistently excited to see the team in the morning and I can tell that they really delight in working with kids. My daughter started childcare centre 3 months ago.

Food is excellent, and my daughter consistently leaves cheerful.
She is only in one day a week, and she has settled in excellent.
She loves the activities and day trips out to the park.
Highly recommended. My daughter loved the nursey from her first visit, and the team are consistently supportive and welcoming.

With these difficult times they have been so approachable, cheerful and no question has been too hard. A lot of nurseries closed during this period, even for key workers, but Bright Star didn’t. They have been outstanding in my eyes and have made this difficult time so much easier for me knowing my kid was OK whilst I had to work. Thank you for everything you’ve done. My kid normally attends Birtley Bright Star but with the COVID situation they were moved to the Chester-Le-Street location just for this period.
Bright Star team have been unbelievable, I can’t praise them enough.

The team here truly care about all the kids and go above and beyond. My youngest kid has a dairy allergy. The previous childcare centre that we went to we had to provide all dairy substitutes but not at Brightstar’s everything was provided. One member of team even researched recipes at her home for the cook.
Even simple things like nappies, nappy cream being provided until the age of two all help.
As a key worker, the childcare centre has been vital. The team have been outstanding giving the kids a bit of normality during this difficult time. I can not thank them enough.
The childcare centre rooms are spotless and spacious with each room having access to an outdoor space. The team are cheerful to discuss and provide any dietary needs.
For older kids breakfast club and wrap around clubs are provided again we have found this vital.
Most importantly my kids adore it here. They have thrived and have grown into two cheerful kids. As a parent you want your kids to be in the safest hands.

I sense so comfortable leaving her, and the reassurance from team is very supportive. I can ring as many times as I like; they’re consistently cheerful to take the time to speak to me to tell me how she is. My little girl consistently talks about everything she has done during her day, and she loves it. My little girl who is two has just started and she absolutely loves it.
