Bright Horizons Windsor Day Nursery and Preschool

The team at Windsor Day Nursery have been so caring, accommodating and dedicated since my son started back in July/Aug 2020. Under such challenging circumstances they have maintained professionalism, realism and humanity and done it with a smile on their faces. My son loves going to nursery and has made such strong bonds with the team. This is testament to their hard work and approach. Congratulations to all the team.

Bright Horizons Windsor Day Nursery has handled the global pandemic incredibly well. We feel they have created a safe environment without compromising the children’s experience of the nursery. The staff are enthusiastic and caring, and the nursery has remained the only ‘normal’ for our children during the challenging times. We would strongly recommend Bright Horizons Windsor Day Nursery.

My son joined the nursery in Oct 2020, 13 months old. He has since progressed so much developmentally. The management team are truly first-class; always willing to listen and take on board feedback, and very visible and contactable. The staff in my son’s room are knowledgeable and friendly and I can always sense my son is being lovingly cared for. The fees are transparent and it is easy to follow what you are being charged for, the nursery is also very flexible – offering not only full day and half-day but also a “short” day to 3.30 pm and term time only settings which are great if you don’t need to pay for 51 weeks of the year. Subject to advance notice, I have found the nursery has been able to accommodate any additional sessions that I require during the school term holidays for my son. The meal plan is varied and the nursery is able to easily flex according to the dietary requirements of my child. The nursery has also launched a Bright Family app where we see photos and activities.

We love Bright Horizons Windsor! Both of our children have attended the nursery and both love attending. The long hours give real flexibility to working parents and make balancing work and children slightly less stressful. The staff are always so attentive to the children and interested in their individual needs. The management team are also really close to the children which is really reassuring as a parent. Whenever we have had any minor issues the management team have been very responsive and quick to resolve them. They have also been very flexible and accommodating with additional sessions when we have needed them. We’ll be sad when our daughter eventually leaves for school!

My son feels extremely happy at Bright Horizon Windsor.
My son has been at the nursey a short while but shows he builds on his confidence every day. The nursey staff are always on hand to support and guide him – They understand his weaknesses and his strengths, which will help build on his strengths and will reassure him of his weakness.
I have a picky eater and they will show him how food is put together and how to use cutlery – life skills, which are important.

Bright Horizons Day nursery in Windsor is brilliant. My daughter has been there for over 2 years now and she loves every minute of it. Sometimes she even wants to go to nursery on the weekend! The staff are always welcoming and the consistent development we can see in her is amazing. She enjoys the variety of learning opportunities and we know she is well cared for.

My daughter was here for just over a year. She thoroughly enjoyed her time there and spoke fondly of all the staff. I have seen a big change in her social skills and her confidence from when she started until now. The managers are great at what they do whether it be a dietary change or a time/day change, they are very accommodating and understanding. The kids all seem happy and entertained whenever I would pick my daughter up and often she would want to stay and play with her friends! The girls are also all lovely, friendly and welcoming. Thank you for being part of my daughter’s growth and development.

My child started at this nursery in September, at 7 months old. The nursery manager was really understanding with regards to my nervousness of my child being away from me for extended periods. They were happy to agree to an extended transition, which was an incredible success. My child is thriving in this nursery, which has made going back to work all the easier. They were even supportive in helping me to continue breastfeeding, by providing me with a room in the nursery over lunchtime. I highly recommend this nursery to new mums’, making the transition back to work.

The nursery and staff have been very accommodating to my son’s needs. Time has been taken to respond to every email/concern I have had. My son enjoys his days at nursery and staff are always welcoming and smiling. I have peace of mind when I drop him off each morning. I needed to find a place quickly because of my change in work pattern and I was catered for very well and supported in the transition from part-time to full-time. The manager, deputy manager and one other staff member, in particular, to mention all that were involved, plus others.

The nursery staff are all exemplary and aid my son to excel to his full potential. Nurturing, guiding, respectful and kind are the first four words that come to mind.
Always accommodating and supportive with extra sessions and encourage my son to become independent, toilet trained and implement gentle, appropriate boundaries and discipline, through play and consistency. The staff always welcoming, smiling and a really thorough handover of my child’s day.
