Bright Horizons Winchester Day Nursery and Preschool

We have nothing but praise for Bright Horizons, Winchester and its wonderful staff. It is clear that the staff care deeply for the children in their care and are invested in helping encourage loving, curious and resilient individuals to learn and grow. We especially enjoy the cooking activities from their in-house chef and the focus on outdoor play.

Bright Horizons, Winchester, since visiting last year, got our heart, we loved it straightway, environment, space and staff. Very welcoming, caring and friendly, always thinking of our children. My baby daughter started with visits in September and then twice a week over October and November, but unfortunately due to higher prices need to decrease to once a week; we will carry making the effort to have our girl there. From the third in charge to three other staff members in particular and other staff, they are all lovely, we trust them without any concerns.

The nursery manager and all the staff are so friendly and have really helped my daughter settle into nursery. Nothing is too much trouble and they always make us feel so welcome. They have great activities set up every day and provide experiences for the children to learn skills and independence. My daughter often comes home singing or doing something new. They are offered great, freshly cooked meals and snacks, which my daughter always enjoys!

We are really happy with Bright Horizons and have been from day 1. Our son is extremely well looked after, stimulated and guided by a brilliant team. I have recommended Bright Horizons to many other parents!
He has thrived in the past year and made some lovely friends too. The staff go over and above to make sure they have a range of indoor and outdoor activities (come rain or shine!).

My daughters have been at Winchesters Bright Horizons since 2016. We love the staff’s attention to detail, creativity, warmth and care. We love the on-site cooking and outdoor play. Our girls have been so happy here. Highly recommended.

Our children have a really good time together with learning new skills like how to eat in their own. All staff is really good and friendly. We are attending for almost two years now since they were 7 months.

Every single member of staff from all rooms of the nursery are friendly and helpful. My child loves being at nursery and has come a long way since attending. I feel confident she’s in the best hands when I’m at work.

Our kids love to go to nursery and their carers. We think carers are doing a great job, but could improve on taking care of keeping eye on the kid’s clothes. We have been missing some items and they don’t seem to be found, which I guess means that the item was put in another child’s backpack and never returned to the nursery to give to the correct child.
The nursery fees are very expensive and the fact that the fees have been raised twice in a year is shocking. I haven’t had 2 pay reviews in my work despite all prices increasing.

My daughter is loving her time at Bright Horizons Winchester. The staff are really caring and know her really well. They are always coming up with new, imaginative activities to stimulate the children and are always on hand to give them cuddles when they need it! They have helped her work on her developmental skills -using cutlery and an open cup. She gets a wide range of food at the nursery, which she enjoys.
The staff are always smiley and full of energy, even after a long day.

My daughter gives a cheer whenever I say it’s nursery day – what better reaction can you get from that! I absolutely love the staff here. You can tell from the offset they are passionate about early years and have taken great care to get to know my daughter as an individual. I was recommended this nursery through a friend and couldn’t be happier since joining over 8 months ago. My daughter is one very happy customer and I am certainly one very happy parent. Thank you to all the brilliant staff. You make this the outstanding nursery that it is.
