Bright Horizons West Hampstead Station Day Nursery and Preschool

The team have been very warm and have ensured to settle my son as smoothly as possible during each transition; they really do go above and beyond with the care. My son talks about the childcare centre team and kids at home a lot. There is a variety of activities throughout the day and easily updated on the app which is accessible on your phone.
Overall, this is a welcoming and respectable childcare centre with great parent partnership and exceptional care for the kids. We have been very cheerful with our kid’s journey at this childcare centre and his development starting from the baby room.

She started during Covid, and they managed the transition super well. Even now, they are super attentive, and the team consistently make the time to answer any questions we may have. They also consistently give very insightful updates at the end of the day. My little one has been going to the childcare centre since she was a year old, and the childcare centre has been absolutely incredible!

My daughter adjusted very quickly and now enjoys going there every day! The food is excellent and the room/garden is very spacious. We joined this childcare centre in December and the educators and everyone has been fantastic.

I think the only part to improve is the food menu for kids with allergies to have a better variety and balance of nutrients. Great team taking great care of my little one.

My first kid was there from age 1-4 years old and he got so much from his time there. My second kid joined a few months ago and is thriving. The curriculum is well thought out and well executed to make sure every kid is stimulated and makes excellent development. The team in the rooms are just gorgeous, fantastic, attentive people who are passionate about their work and form real bonds with the kids. The variety and quality of food on offer is outstanding and a real plus. Also of huge benefit is the flexibility of being able to do half days, part-time, early starts and add additional sessions when required. If I had to make a criticism there have been some gaps in updates in the past, however, this is no longer an issue and management team are extremely responsive and diligent at keeping parents up to date now. The introduction of an app with frequent updates on how the day is going is excellent. Bright Horizons, West Hampstead Station is a fantastic attentive setting for kids of all ages.

She’s a different baby and toddler after almost six months of full-time childcare centre: more loving and attentive towards parents and carers (no more ‘stranger danger’), more engaged with activities, such as messy playtime and story time and more stimulated than any full-time nanny could ever achieve. She sleeps better at night after a full day of playtime and discovering and my transition back to work has been easier than anticipated. Management is relatively new and outstanding and the real stars are the childcare centre team, room leaders and the new, third in command. Everyone works hard to ensure that my daughter’s needs are met and that she’s cheerful. Turnover isn’t high, faces and interactions are constant and on a first-name basis and the updates on our parents/family app are more frequent than initially. I highly suggest this childcare centre to other parents. My daughter has been going to this childcare centre since she was 11 months old and absolutely loves it.

The outdoor playtime area is quite spacious. The team are welcoming and approachable. Face to face is now obviously limited due to Covid but they are consistently cheerful to speak to you about your kid. The assistant manager is very diligent and focused, quick to reply to email and resolve issues.
My only constructive criticism would be about the quality of food and level of nutrition in the meals e.g pasta, bread, crackers etc prior to the pandemic the quality of the food was much more varied. My kid is very cheerful at the childcare centre.

She is consistently cheerful to see the team and her friends. They do lots of activities like painting, discovering, role playtime and outdoor activity. I like the updates on the app and I find that the team are consistently welcoming and very engaged with my kid. I like the emphasis on discovering about other cultures and religions too. There were some issues earlier in the year, which seemed to be down to team shortages with covid, but when this was raised, it was dealt with and there was a strong improvement as a result, which is positive. Overall, very cheerful. It is a shame there is no sibling discount, but I understand this is a policy set in place for some time. Would definitely suggest. I find Bright Horizons, West Hampstead to be a lovely setting for my daughter and I can see she is genuinely cheerful.

The team have consistently been expert and attentive. It’s clear the teaching team adore the kids and work hard to develop and nourish them. Both my kids enjoyed their time at the childcare centre, evidenced by their daily smiles at drop off and collection. The management team have been equally outstanding, welcoming and expert and handle changes well (eg. Covid and team changes). Although the childcare centre is more expensive than some others in the area, I have never once regretted the decision to send both my kids or contemplated another setting during their Early Learning stages. I would definitely suggest this childcare centre to others. Both my son (3) and daughter (7) attended West Hampstead Station Bright Horizons since they were 6 months old.
