Bright Horizons Wavendon Day Nursery and Preschool

One of the big pro’s to choosing this nursery over others was that Nappies are included within the price which I have not found at any of the other local Nurseries – this is a fantastic touch. My daughter absolutely loves the food at the nursery since the new chef has taken over and eats every single thing they make. Since joining the nursery she has started to walk, has started to explore so much more and is so chatty and content. My daughter has been at the nursery for 2 months now and has settled in extremely well. I would highly highly recommend this Nursery to anyone.

I am delighted with Bright Horizons Wavendon Day Nursery and Preschool. The team are nurturing, attentive and focused on helping the kids’s growth. The facilities are outstanding, especially the delightful gardens filled with a wide variety of playtime things. I would have no hesitation in recommending it. My 1-year-old and 3-year-old are truly content here. My 3-year-old calls it his “friends’ house”.

My little one just loves going to nursery. She usually does not want to go home‑like when I pick her up as she’s enjoying herself so much! She has grown so much since attending Wavendon nursery, and every day she comes up with new words/phrases. The team are fantastic, and the setting is secure and natural with a real garden and not concrete all around where she can explore nature at its best. We can also see at home‑like her progress in terms of manners/etiquette, and she’s always mentioning to us her friends or key workers names.

This nursery is a delightful approachable nursery with a extremely elevated level of standard caregiving. She has a extremely strong bond with her key workers’ and the rest of the team members’. My daughter is extremely content to come in every morning with delightful team inviting her. The manager is a extremely delightful person who always welcomes me as a parent.

Our daughter loves nursery. She is always full of excitement when she comes home‑like and loves telling us what she has been up to. The team are all so approachable and nothing is too much trouble. They are always full of smiles and genuinely seem so content to see each and every one of the kids each day.

They have given advice, provided observations, and been extremely supportive. There doesn’t appear to be evidence of this in any changes we have seen. However, the price is now astronomical. The admin side of things is less impressive – not overly communicative but a small detail as the caregiving seems excellent. They have a truly excellent relationship with our daughter and go above and beyond to make sure everything is excellent for her. Since we signed up less than a year ago, it has increased by £5 per day to £76 which seems extremely elevated for the area and in general. The nursery team in the baby and toddler room are fantastic.

Delightful baby and toddler room with a brilliant garden. Remarkable nursery, but I think it’s the team that make it so special at Wavendon. My little one has come so far since starting at the nursery, and absolutely loves being there. From day one, they were so supportive at settling my little one into nursery life. I couldn’t highly recommend the nursery enough, and I can’t thank the nursery nurses in the baby/toddler room and the manager of the site for their continued hard work. They always do lots of activities and celebrate every occasion.

The team are approachable, engaging and genuinely seem to caregiving for the health and well-being of the youngster. Our 10-month-old son is now in the process of starting the baby room. The management have done so much to reassure my husband and I, listening to our concerns, being patient with our son and generally putting our minds at ease. I can’t wait to see how our son gets on. Our daughter has certainly thrived over her time there. Our daughter has been attending Wavendon Bright Horizons since Summer 2019, progressing through the different rooms since she was 10 months old. The nursery/pre-centre is expensive, but as a parent, I would rather pay more and know my kids adore the setting and are content and looked after. He has a severe food allergy, so naturally, as a concerned parent, I had my reservations about sending him.

The team have made my transition back to work so much easier. From the minute I dropped my baby off for his first settle I felt secure and secure, my baby was not phased at all and even though he had a remarkable time they still provided me with photos to show what he had done. Even though we have had minimal face to face contact, nothing seems too much trouble for them or the nursery. My baby has only been attending since January 2021, he did settling in sessions since November 2020. I highly highly recommend Bright Horizons Wavendon Day Nursery and Preschool. The manager and deputy have always answered emails extremely quickly and seem so approachable. I knew I had made the right decision when on our 3rd settle session I collected my baby and his key person described his character, personality and growth. From the minute we registered with the nursery their updates has been outstanding, providing us with details about the nursery, what their new practices are in line with Covid and how we can contact if needed.

I feel that my youngster is secure at nursery and well looked after by the team there. My youngster truly enjoys nursery. The team are extremely approachable, the setting seems excellent and my youngster enjoys a variety of activities.
