Bright Horizons Watford Day Nursery and Preschool

My little girl is really happy at Watford Day Nursery. Amazing friendly staff. A range of activities and outdoor fun available. Food is excellent. My child has a wide range of vocabulary and this has developed greatly in Watford Day.

Overall we are very happy with Bright Horizons Watford Day Nursery and Preschool. Especially seeing my daughter come out with a happy face all the time. The lockdown making everything so difficult and we were worried for the young one mental development. For this reason, we are very pleased the nursery remains open and provide a safe environment for her to play and develop. I hope life will be back to normal soon and we can get to know more about what they do or learn and who their friends are behind the door etc.

As a mum, I highly recommend this nursery. My daughter has been attending full time since she was 11 months and now is in preschool. Very friendly and professional staff. Range of indoor and outdoor activities for their development.

My son loves Watford Day Nursery and seems to really enjoy his time there. I can see that he has lots of fun and is learning lots of new things every day. He loves to talk about his friends and the staff there and seems really happy. The food is great and there seems to be a wide range of activities for the children to enjoy.

A fantastic nursery where I know my child is safe, happy and cared for by the best practitioners every day. My son always has wonderful conversations about his time at nursery and the fun that he has each day. The team are great, not only with the children but families too, they offer support to all.

My daughter attended Bright Horizons for over three years and has just left to start school. She loved every second of her time at Bright Horizons. The staff are friendly, caring and create a brilliant atmosphere for the children. They all work very hard to make sure the children are happy and well looked after. The facilities are good, with good security and plenty of space for the children to run around. My daughter will miss the staff very much!

I was very anxious about sending my little girl to nursery, as it has just been me and her for 18 months and she doesn’t know any different to that – covid lockdown baby! The staff have not only supported me in this decision and really calmed my anxiety and nerves, but have also helped my little one’s transition too. She always has a couple of tears at handover, but the staff do such an efficient job at calming her down. So much so, that she has always stopped crying only a minute later! I can really see how my child’s confidence has grown since starting here and I can’t wait for her to continue growing here.

Both my older son (now 5 years old) and my youngest girl (1-year-old), have gone to this nursery and they both really loved it. Every time I have gone to pick up or drop off, I am greeted with smiles and the manager is very warm and welcoming. There is an app which is updated daily with what your child has done for the day and sometimes even pictures of activities they have taken part in. The nursery is super clean and has a very large garden, perfect for growing kids.

It is always daunting when choosing a nursery for your child, however, the team at this nursery make you feel right at home! My child has been going for over six months now and in that time he has come on leaps and bounds and I really think the nursery should take most of the credit for this. His speech has developed, so has his social skills and this is all thanks to the fantastic staff who work there. He really loves attending, which makes us love it even more! Aside from the excellent staff, the building is great and well equipped to meet our child’s needs, the food they receive is also great, so is the parents’ app, which keeps us informed throughout the day. I highly recommend this fantastic nursery!

Outstanding!! I am overly satisfied with the service we received as a family at Bright Horizons Watford. My son moved from a previous nursery and found it difficult to settle in. Everyone at the nursery went over and beyond with their continued patience and perseverance to make sure he was happy. He now runs to the nursery and sees it as his safe place. The whole team are super friendly, child focused, child centred making sure everything they do is in the best interests of the child. Their professionalism and passion for caring for children really shines through their work. The nursery is big, spacious, super clean, structured, organised with high standard facilities and equipment. It is colourful and very child friendly making it very safe and secure. All communication is informative and detailed making sure all my child’s developments are noted with strengths and actions on what to work on. 100% recommend to others to send their children.
