He is bilingual, English/Spanish and whenever possible, the team encourage him to playtime with other youngsters that also speak Spanish. He is always pleased at the end of the day, telling me of all the things he’s done during the day. and lots of pictures of them playing. I also cherish the app they use where you can see, almost in real time, if they’ve eaten, napped etc. Staff really give him a stimulating space and he’s even made some friends! We are truly delighted with Waterside Nursery. My boy had a tough time at the beginning, but through encouragement, kindness and lots of patience, the personnel made him feel really welcomed and settled.

My daughter’s confidence, speech and interests have soared. My little one started early‑years hub at Waterside in August of this year. I was truly anxious when she started, I had just started a new job and was extremely overwhelmed, but the crew were incredible with my girl. They regularly let me know how she was when I was anxious and the app they use to document is brilliant, for me to see how she is! The personnel are incredible!

We had a face to face meeting with key members of the early‑years hub, at which point we went through their (already healthier than many early‑years hub) menus with a fine toothcomb, and agreed to small tweaks we suggested. They’ve also handled my son’s several allergies truly responsibly. They’ve stuck true to that promise all the way through, even making my little one sugar free cakes as an alternative when other youngsters have a birthday!! I can’t rate this nursery setting enthusiastically enough! My boy adores his key worker and other personnel, and the activities appear varied and interesting. I was really reassured by Waterside. My boy has been there 8 months and we are exceptionally pleased with the friendliness, flexibility, and quality of attention he is receiving. The crew keep us well informed verbally too. We were initially nervous about our boy being cared for by anyone other than ourselves as parents, particularly regarding food – so many nurseries seem to give toddlers sugar and salt above NHS recommended levels.

I am so thrilled with the attention and the enjoy they give him. I couldn’t suggest it more! He has never been ill like other friends’ kids attending other nurseries which indicates the level of hygiene of the space. Why would I suggest it now that my little one is there? Let me start with why I chose this nursery setting: – They have a good ranking. I so pleased I chose Waterside and not any other! I even think he is better there than at home with me. – They have an fantastic garden where kids can run and doesn’t stay ceased trading all day long – It doesn’t have too many kids – It provides extra classes like music and sports and helps with their advancement – It has a no phone police where the carer is actually paying attention to your kid instead of the phone. What more could you expect? They are always there for your kids and for YOU, to help you in everything you need.

The team provide a varied diet, with the kids trying new things regularly. His key worker has been especially great. The crew should be proud of the care they provide. The team provide lots of activities, and he has developed hugely in the prior three months. The contact from the crew is good too, filling you in on his day, how well he’s slept and eaten etc. He absolutely enjoys to go to childcare centre now and is excited every time we drop him off. We chose this nursery setting due to its relatively large outdoor space and our youngster enjoys being able to games outdoors. My kid has been at the nursery setting for 3 months. If we have a second little one, we will certainly be looking to enrol them here. Other business park nurseries don’t always have so much outdoor space. The team have been fantastic, taking the time to get to know him and to help him properly settle in.

Our young lady is 2 and runs into the childcare centre on the days she goes to – she is exceptionally delighted there, which is a testament to the personnel who look after her and the enjoyable time she has there. It’s hard to connect with our daughters time at the nursery setting because of the restrictions that are in place due to COVID. However, the personnel do what they can in the situation, and we definitely feel they are doing everything they can to keep us, our little one and the personnel as safe as possible.

The childcare centre app provides detailed information throughout the day including food, education and loo stops. After my initial visit, I was extremely impressed by the offering and I adored the arts and crafts room. Waterside is a great early‑years hub. The team assisted greatly with potty training, which was greatly appreciated as full time working, parents. Our 3-year-old has been at Waterside for just over 9 months and really enjoys it. We definitely advocate this nursery/preschool and it’s a great location in Thames Valley Park. The team are exceptionally approachable and show they support. Our little one has recently been showing off her yoga moves at home, taught at preschool. The site is protected and secure and they allow comforts, which was a big bonus as that helped the adjustment after being home throughout covid.

They continually demonstrate an excellent level of care for her and take time to really understand what she’s interested in and her individual character. She was born in the first covid lockdown, so we weren’t sure how she would adapt to a early‑years hub space, but she has really thrived. We have also really enjoyed the comprehensive online updates about how she has spent her day. Our young lady is almost 2 years old and has been attending the setting for about 7 months. We couldn’t be happier with our period of Waterside Bright Horizons.

Thanks to everyone! The personnel go out of their way to take care of him, and we have had no cause to worry. We have been so impressed with Waterside nursery setting, especially during these times. Our son’s growth has been so impressive, and we are really pleased. As a parent, who’s had a terrible time at another day early‑years hub with our first little one, it’s refreshing to now have an excellent period.

I can only base my feedback on the back of feedbacks received by friends who send their kids to other nurseries in and around Reading. This nursery setting has a wide range of activities and skilled key workers with fantastic assistance personnel which I believe are key. Our little one has picked up a lot of competences and grown in confidence, which proves the effort put in by key workers at various stages. Best Nursery in Reading….period! Their approach to teaching basic competences is extremely commendable and some key workers put a lot of thought into various activities that they plan to engage inquisitive minds. This is truly convenient for parents especially who work in Thames Valley Park, however, it still is the nursery setting I would advocate to someone who lives in the area. My boy has joined the childcare centre since he was 8 months old and apart from the early hiccups getting adjusted to the place and settling down with bugs (which is part of growing up), he treasures to be at this place.

The fact that she goes straight in for cuddles from the team members shows how comfortable she is with them. He was well supported in every class. We did not hesitate to sign our girl up to Waterside too. She was made immediately cared for and welcome. Our little one progressed all the way through from being a one-year-old through to preschool in Waterside. They know how to support them in ways that work well for them. We have always found that the key workers really get to know the youngsters and their personalities.

The team take allergies and intolerances exceptionally seriously and apply safety measures at meal times. We have been at Waterside nursery setting for 2 months after making a change due to work. The space is hygienic, welcoming and the grounds outside are secure and spacious. Just go and take a look for yourself! This has been the biggest change for us as parents leaving our little one in the morning, previously he was uncontrollably crying and left us feeling quite unsettled for our own day at work. They have shown excellent updates weekly, most impressively the advancement abilities they will focus on with the youngsters in the coming weeks. From the extremely start to welcoming us, the team show true dedication and commitment in excellence in their standards of support to all little ones who join the nursery setting. We were worried about settling in, however to our surprise and what exceeded our expectations he has developed confidence and is surprisingly delighted to go to Nursery with just a few tears occasionally at drop off.

The food provided is of the highest quality and our youngster was rarely sick; attesting to the general hygiene of the nursery setting. Having such a strong foundation will ease the transition to pre-school. All the exceptionally best. We wholeheartedly advocate Waterside without any reservation whatsoever. Our three and a half year old has been at the nursery setting since she was five months old. The team are extremely kind, caring and attentive and always responsive to our concerns. Regular updates are provided at the end of the day and feedback is always encouraged. We are in no doubt of the positive contribution Waterside has had on the growth of our youngster. Despite the initial (and expected) adjustment, she has grown to cherish the nursery setting. We receive weekly e-mails about the week ahead; organisation and correspondence is superb. The facilities are second to none; bright, airy and plenty of space for little ones to enjoy outdoor activities. Thank you again to every member of personnel for all that you have done for our kid.

I’m really delighted with the childcare centre and now have my little one there as well. My young lad has really enjoyed his time at nursery setting – he started at 8 months old and has stayed full time all the way through to pre-school. The personnel are really welcoming and engaged and have prepared him really well for school and spend a lot of time helping him to develop, from starting to walk to writing his own name.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any other youngsters. The team has helped a lot as we were not expert parents at all. When we decided for my wife to go back to work, we visited the early‑years hub. Thanks. This didn’t happen, we liked the nursery setting from the first moment we visited it. It is hygienic, tidy, nice and the personnel are extremely professional and useful. My boy has joined the early‑years hub from the age of five months up to pre-school. I cannot find any complaints about the nursery setting, I have been extremely satisfied with the service received. Thank you to everyone from Waterside Nursery and Preschool, you are all fantastic. We both agree that if we didn’t like we would have looked for another one, no matter if it was discounted. It was our first choice as we got a discount through my company. If I did I would not think twice and would have him/her to enrol at the childcare centre. Our boy didn’t have any problems to go through the stages of childhood, from starting solid food, potty training, starting walking, talking etc.

The personnel are remarkable and have made me as a parent feel comfortable to leave him in their attention. Thank you to everyone who works there. We have been really thrilled with the Waterside Nursery since our little boy started in November. They really seem to get to know each and every youngster in their attention and adapt teaching/care to each child’s needs and understanding. My young lad has developed so much since starting there, it’s really encouraging to see how pleased he is to walk into his classroom when I drop him off and how welcoming the team are when they see him.

she is self‑assured and a delighted 2-year-old now thanks to all the team does in this current space especially it gives us huge comfort to know she is being taken attention of so well. My girl is thriving also having joined the early‑years hub at 6 months. Thank you. She absolutely enjoys going each day and gets to time ab breadth of activities. We have been really pleased with Waterside since moving from another branch. My young lad has blossomed under your support and now doing so well in reception thanks to the team.

It is a great location for us, the food always seems to go down well. Overall we are delighted with the early‑years hub, the team seem welcoming. I’d enjoy to know the detail of what my little boy learns day to day (but appreciate they have lots of little ones to look after). My little boy goes to Waterside Nursery. Our key worker is lovely, it’s a shame we can’t spend time with her to get to know her a little bit better. When we collect him and watch him he is always running around, playing with everything in sight. When he first started he used to cry not wanting to be left, now most of the time he holds his hands out when he sees his key worker, which as a parent makes you feel downhearted but also so thrilled to know that he wants to be there.
