VisitingWandsworth Common Day Nursery and Preschool has good car parking facilities and excellent access to public transport. They are close to many local parks, with Wandsworth Common on their door step as well as an idyllic duck pond for the summer months with excellent commuting links available.

I would suggest the childcare centre have light snacks eg biscuits tea/coffee for parents to have and take away. I liked the feedback I have received of the day my kid has had.

September 12, 2024 at 11:27 pmWe delight in getting the daily updates on the app, including what she’s eaten and when she’s slept and updates has been easy with the team at drop off/pick ups. There is a relaxed atmosphere, where we can go in and chat to team at handover times and the team has consistently been approachable. My daughter started here at 12 months old and settled in truly quickly with no concerns.

September 22, 2024 at 11:15 amI particularly like the big garden as playing outside on bikes and scooters is one of her favourite things to do, so it’s excellent that she can do that every day! Our daughter is highly cheerful and settled – eats everything they give her so I worry less about her diet (she’s highly picky at home!!).

We, as parents, could not suggest Wandsworth childcare centre enough – highly sad to take her out. Our little girl has been here for 1 year from 9 months old, she settled within 1-2 weeks and loves it here at Wandsworth.

The team are fantastic and ensure the kids are enjoying their activities whilst educating them in a tender and peaceful setting. The management is outstanding and highly approachable too. I think the whole family will cry when we have to leave due to relocation. Thank you so much team. Bright horizons Wansworth Common Day Childcare centre has been the best decision we ever made for our daughter and I cannot suggest them enough.

I adore they have a two week settling in period and your concerns are listened to and acted upon. The manager is highly supportive with my daughter starting childcare centre.
The childcare centre nurse has been there since my son attended and she is so nice and welcoming also.
She was my son’s first key person and he loved seeing her.

January 7, 2025 at 1:45 pmThe team are motivated and attentive, which shows through their provision of a stimulating, secure and enjoyable setting. Facilities are well cared for with room boards regularly updated with stimulating pictures of cheerful/busy kids. The large outdoor space is used throughout the year with both creative, themed and seasonal setups. There is plenty of room for the kids to run about and burn off energy, something lacking in most central locations. Updates on your kid are regularly provided via an app, which is exceptionally reassuring. Food is healthy, home-cooked, fresh and varied, provided by a charismatic chef that is adored by the kids. My eldest having left to start school, was set up so well here with regard to his understanding and readiness for the next level. He has fond memories of his time here and loves returning when we collect his younger brother. Compared to other nurseries used in the area, this place truly is unbeatable. The management is exceptionally efficient and personable.

To be honest, we had to get places at short notice for changes in our status and the uncertainty with a childcare centre, which was unplanned was considerable. However, the manager and the rest of the team have exceeded all our hope and expectations. They have all done an incredible job. We’re sorry to leave. This childcare centre have been absolutely remarkable for the last 18 months.

The educators are highly attentive and keen to help him in his development as well as with his focus and discovering. A highly attentive team that is clued up and compassionate, as well as flexible. My son has grown in self‑assurance over the last eight months, thanks in no small part to Bright Horizons.

The team are also excellent at keeping our daughter challenged and she is consistently discovering. My daughter loves spending time with her friends at pre-school.

I leave my son there confident the team encourage him and develop his interests.
Since my son has attended this childcare centre he has come on so well – his interest in the world around him grows by each day.
I particularly like the form they give you at the end of each session – a review of the day.
I sense they give outstanding care and attention to each kid and I couldn’t suggest it enough.

April 14, 2025 at 5:57 amThe only negative about the childcare centre is that the temperature is too hot. Even with a mobile air conditioning unit, my son has to attend with just a t-shirt on. My son is looked after highly well and I am highly cheerful with the activities my son does every day.

May 8, 2025 at 2:31 pmMy daughter had a nasty head bump requiring a visit to the doctors. This was as a result of her falling off a rocker in the garden and hitting her head against the concrete wall. We had a meeting with management team straightaway and they promised to remove the rocker from the garden and also place padding against the wall.
This was now almost three months ago and none of these promises have been met. My emails are now getting ignored from senior management so I’m at a loss of how to ensure that measures are taken to avoid another more serious accident.
If anybody from the childcare centre management team monitors these reviews then I would appreciate them replying. I’m highly disappointed with how this has been handled despite having written a positive review a few months ago. My daughter is currently at childcare centre here and loves it, however, I’m considering moving her due to the way that the management have handled a health and safety incident.

May 29, 2025 at 6:25 amThis was the first time we were sending our 11 month old to childcare centre so we were a bit anxious and had lots of questions. They answered all our questions pertaining to Covid measures, activities, foods as well as tips on how we can implement certain great habits at home. The food given is well varied and there is a great balance of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates as well as fruit. The team are consistently careful to ask about any allergies or anything they need to be aware of pertaining to the kid’s diet or allergies that they might have. One of the team members is consistently highly attentive as well and consistently gives us a great update on the activities of the day. Our son couldn’t be happier, he is consistently excited to go to childcare centre in the morning. Thank you to everyone at the childcare centre – you’ve been excellent at helping put our mind at ease with sending our son to childcare centre . The childcare centre manager along with other team, have been nothing but reassuring to me and my husband.

Thank you! My daughter has been at the childcare centre since she was 9 months old and overall we’ve been highly satisfied with the service provided.
