Bright Horizons Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool

The team are all just wonderful. The love, learning and energy they pour into the children is second to none. I can not thank them enough for how well they prepared my daughter for ‘big school.’ She’s got off to a flying start both socially and academically because of the structure and learning that was in place. She’s super confident and happy and the team in the pre-school room should be very proud of the positive impact they have had for these little people.
My son is in the toddler room and he is coming on in leaps and bounds. His key worker is just great fun and he lights up when I tell him in the morning he’s spending the day with her. Every day is his dream, playing with bikes, toy trains and cars and I get lovely pictures of him enjoying himself and my kitchen is covered in his crazy artwork! I feel that this nursery has played a really important role in the life of my family and I will always be very grateful to the staff there.

Both my younger and older kids are in this nursery. The management team communicates with parents very efficiently. Staff are friendly and caring. During the pandemic, parents are not allowed to enter the nursery rooms. Surprisingly, my younger one settles really well! Thanks to the staff in Baby Room. My older one enjoy her days in nursery and is always happy when I pick her up. Highly recommended!

I was quite worried about the settling in period – in a time of Covid and lockdown restrictions, we didn’t have as much as a social element beforehand as we had wanted to. The staff were great at the nursery; approachable and very informative of the curriculum when we went for a tour back in January of last year. With a baby in a new environment away from parents, the reaction was expected and my little one was upset, but this was surprisingly very short-lived. Within a few settling in sessions, she had settled quite well, and the tears, when handed over, were soon a thing of the past before she transitioned into full-time. I felt relieved knowing that the settling in sessions went really well and my little one got to the stage during this time where she was happy being handed over to management, and her key worker. This made my transition going back to full-time work so much better knowing that she was happy/comfortable and put my mind at ease to focus on my work.

I only have good things to say about this nursery and preschool. The manager and staff team are excellent and staff turnover is clearly very low. My child absolutely loves going to nursery and we can just tell that she feels happy, safe, nurtured and confident to be herself. It’s a great feeling to know that your child is being supported to thrive in a safe environment.

My little one attends this nursery and I cannot express how friendly the staff and management are there! My boy is currently in the under 2’s room and what I have seen from the 5 months that he has been there, how much he has developed in all areas and I cannot thank them enough! The app is absolutely amazing and keeps me and my partner updated on his day from nappies to food to daily learning opportunities in the room and garden.

We are so happy with our choice of sending our little one to Bright Horizons’ Surbiton Day Nursery. All the staff are highly prepared and professional, as well as lovely and dedicated. They are open to answering any questions and discussing any needs your family has. Our child needed physiotherapy support, and they were prepared to help with the exercises prescribed by the specialist. Having no siblings, we have seen how much our child has learnt and developed new skills in the months since attending this nursery. We get updates every day through apps and pictures. Our little one adores the staff and goes there with a smile on their face every morning. Highly recommend it.

I honestly cannot fault this nursery. I recommend it to everyone I meet in the area. My son has been there for over a year and absolutely loves it; he runs in each morning.
The staff are wonderful and very dedicated to every child’s development. The management truly cares for the children and their staff.
There’s a large garden for them to play in, which is rare in this area, and the amazing chef gets the children involved with cooking and baking at times.
We are moving from the area, and it pains me so much to leave; I’m tempted to drive an hour to get there!

Both of my children attend Bright Horizons Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool and I could not be happier. The staff work tirelessly to provide a loving, fun, stimulating and varied environment for the children. They also make every effort to involve parents/guardians with daily updates and photos, regular parents’ mornings and special events. It is a proper community with the children at the centre.

I cannot fault the fantastic team at Bright Horizons, Surbiton Day Nursery and Preschool. Always positive, fun and have fantastic new activities for the children. Brilliant team, great leader.
