Bright Horizons Southgate Day Nursery and Preschool

The team go above and beyond and are so welcoming and supportive, along with being incredible with my son. They’ve built a strong relationship with him and made him sense comfortable and cheerful when he’s there, he enjoys his time with the girls in his room and I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough. A Star. Bright Horizons Southgate is incredible!

It was excellent to see photos on the app of activities he had been engaged in. We are really glad that our son attended this childcare centre from August 2021 as it has developed his self‑assurance and social interactions with his peers as well as his independence, preparing him well for starting Reception. We would definitely suggest this childcare centre! Very supportive and welcoming team at this childcare centre who helped our son to settle in and made his journey of childcare centre a cheerful and positive one.

The Manager and Deputy are excellent and run a really ‘tight-ship’. The Room Leaders and key workers are also really excellent and well-liked by our kids, however, there can be a lot of changes in assistance team (particularly in age 2-3 room) which can be unsettling.

Toddlers get to spend a lot of time in the garden, but it is less when they get older which is a shame. It would be nice for older kids to have an opportunity for more free-flow playtime between indoors and garden, although this would be logistically very difficult with the stairs.

The facilities are excellent and the childcare centre is consistently very spotless, with great heating / air-conditioning. Our kids both eat really well at childcare centre too.

The childcare centre is one of the more expensive ones in the area, but has long hours and is close to the station if you are commuting. The car park is shared with other users and is a nightmare at peak times, but nothing they can do about that really. Our kids really delight in attending this childcare centre.

It is a fantastic setting for a childcare centre and a excellent location. It is clear that the team are passionate about attentive for our daughter, providing lots of activities to delight in and learn. Our daughter has developed her updates skills and I’m sure it’s testament to the Southgate Bright Horizons team. We are very cheerful with how Bright Horizons team all look after our daughter so well.

She was there for four years and seven months and Bright Horizons, Southgate has become part of our life since. The childcare centre is very well managed with cheerful, yet disciplined team. The management were extremely accommodating with our requirement, especially at the beginning as I had to go back straight to work. Can’t imagine coping with work/baby, though with family’s help during the sleepless nights without Bright Horizons, Southgate’s care and assistance. My daughter’s time there has been smooth sailing with any issues being addressed accordingly. My daughter left as a confident young lady who can read independently, write and paint well and socially adequate. Couldn’t have achieved all these without Bright Horizons, Southgate. My daughter started at Bright Horizons, Southgate, when she was 3 months old, gradually moving to full-time.

They are inviting, supportive, attentive and consistently help when they can. I will miss the team when my youngest leaves this year. Thank you to the manager, deputy manager and two other team members in particular and the team. I have known the team at Southgate, Bright Horizons Childcare centre for five years.

My kids are consistently smiling when they see the team in the morning. They eat well and sleep well there and engage in so many enjoyable activities. The outside space is a plus too. I adore the app which gives me regular updates on my kid including sleep times, how much they have eaten, nappy changes and regular photo updates. A excellent childcare centre. Fantastic attentive team.

The team in the room and the manager and deputy manager, are so lovely and welcoming. I consistently suggest this childcare centre to everyone. Lots of long-standing team, who all have a loving nature. My son loves coming to childcare centre.

My first was there for three years and I can’t suggest it highly enough. Yes, it is not the cheapest, but when you consider how much they assistance early years development, it is excellent value for money. I also adore the team there and completely trust them with my kids. My second kid is currently at the childcare centre.

They have thrived, and developed so many skills thanks to the incredible teaching team. Moreover, the management is second to none – they are extremely organised, immediately respond to any queries parents have (however minor or urgent), they take all issues seriously and they respect parents’ wishes and concerns. They respond to emails and telephone calls immediately and one can easily tell that this childcare centre is run very efficiently. I have not encountered this in our previous nurseries and I have been consistently impressed by the Southgate team. The team consistently smile and know everyone’s names, there is no sense of chaos and we are so so grateful to have this childcare centre in our lives!
(my boys also adore the food at the school!) My two boys absolutely adore this childcare centre (Bright Horizons Southgate Day Childcare centre and Preschool), as soon as we arrive each morning they storm inside the school as they can’t wait to meet their educators and friends and each afternoon when they are picked up they look cheerful and fulfilled.
