Bright Horizons Southborough Woodlands Preschool

Our son started with the team at just 8 months old and is now 3 years old. The setting is excellent, with a lovely garden, great parking and well-designed rooms full of activities. The team are exceptional. They really get to know the kids they look after and they have consistently been fantastic with our son and are excellent at communicating with us about his development and general happiness! The manager is lovely too and consistently easy to get hold of. We absolutely adore Woodlands Preschool.

She was a lot calmer and loved going to childcare centre, taking part in all the exciting activities the childcare centre has to offer. I can’t thank the team enough for their hard work in getting my daughter ready for big school. All of the team and the manager were genuinely welcoming and welcoming. We were sad to leave. I removed my daughter from a different pre-school to Woodlands and I noticed a huge difference in her behaviour and discovering.

We cannot rate them highly enough. Our son has been with them since he was 11 months old and he will be soon leaving Woodlands to start school. Within this time, we have seen him absolutely flourish. Whether that is because the team have supported him with his interests, challenged him with ideas and concepts or supported him pastorally. The team really care about each individual kid, they approach parents and kids with high levels of emotional intelligence, care and compassion.
We are consistently very impressed with the key themes that Woodlands use throughout the year. Whether that is annual events or one-offs, our son consistently comes back with high levels of enthusiasm and knowledge around these events.

There is a wide variety of materials and activities, and the team consistently put a huge amount of time and effort into curating enjoyable and educational things to do. I adore that the curriculum follows the seasons and focuses on many holidays and dates throughout the year for our daughter to learn about. The outdoor space is a massive benefit and sets the childcare centre apart from others in the town centres nearby. The building and gardens back onto woodlands and the kids spend lots of time in the garden as much as the weather allows all year round. Updates is very great, with regular updates on the app, and the team consistently respond very quickly to messages/queries. Our daughter loves all the food provided with hot meals cooked on-site every day. It’s lovely to see the bonds the team create with kids, there is lots of enthusiasm from all the team members and it’s excellent to see that the turnover of team seems to be very low. Our daughter is very cheerful attending Bright Horizons, Southborough Woodlands.

They have some long-standing members of team here, which is fantastic to see. They had a member of team leave (due to health) and come back, so they must be doing something right! My daughter loves it too, consistently cheerful to go in. They helped her master potty training with ease. They consistently have enjoyable activities planned and my daughter comes home pleased. The app is excellent. the updates is excellent. The carers make an effort to understand what is important to you in terms of parenting style etc. My daughter will leave in 2024, to go to school, meaning I have been a client for seven years! Highly suggest. I still adore this childcare centre.

The baby room team have been so remarkable and supportive in helping her settle. She loves her childcare centre days now, and smiles when she goes in and comes out! Her development is coming on so much as a result of her time at childcare centre where she is observing and discovering so much.
The team are remarkable and so attentive and considerate of all her needs. It’s a pleasure to deal with them and I’ve been really grateful for the efforts that have been made to update me on her days particularly when I haven’t been able to go inside with her.
She has been given the opportunity to do lots of activities and I sense it’s helped so much with her movement, eating and her attempts to make sounds.
I’d highly suggest this remarkable childcare centre! My daughter started in the baby room in March 2021 and following a year of Covid lockdowns found the transition to childcare centre very difficult.

The childcare centre is very nurturing and encourages all passions. They have really helped her prepare for school this September and we know she will enter the next chapter with the self‑assurance she needs. I also cannot fault the childcare centre’s approach throughout the pandemic in keeping the kids secure but also being able to continue to provide childcare throughout. Our daughter has attended Bright Horizons Southborough Woodlands Preschool since she was 11 months old and throughout her time with the childcare centre, she has grown in self‑assurance and ability.

Our daughter started during lockdown, so we were unable to go in and see where she would playtime and the garden etc, but we’ve been well looked after (as parents, in terms of being informed) and our daughter loves it! Highly suggest! We are so impressed with this childcare centre.

I’ve been impressed by how much she’s discovering and being prepared for primary school. I adore the regular updates we get through the app and can really see the variety of activities and discovering the kids take part it in. My daughter loves coming to childcare centre and it’s clear that a big part of that is the welcoming and attentive atmosphere created by the fantastic team at Woodlands.

The team are nurturing, attentive and exude positivity. It is no surprise that our kids adore it there. We have been so impressed with this preschool where our daughter started two years ago and our son has recently joined her.
