Bright Horizons Slough Day Nursery and Preschool

Beautiful, spotless childcare centre. My young lady comes back thrilled daily and is developing skills beautifully. The personnel are really welcoming and the nursery setting manager is exceptionally accommodating. I would strongly suggest Bright Horizons. They provide you with the right feedback that is in your child’s best interest.

Our little one had a great start at nursery setting. Settling in period is great because you get lots of time to allow your kid to get used to the nursery setting and team. Great team who are exceptionally welcoming.

Very positive, our primary carer is doing a fantastic job today after disciplining and developing my girl.

When they first joined the childcare centre at nearly three years old, their contact and verbal language weren’t great. A slight negative is the fact of the fees being raised however I do think this is to do with the rise of costs in general. My kid enjoys attending and the team are just incredible. A year on and with the help of their key worker, they have come on leaps and bounds. You can see they genuinely support for the kids and they are protected in their hands. My little one has been at this nursery setting for nearly a year and the progression has been incredible.

After watching the CCTV footage, I am devastated that I put my youngster in this nursery setting and they have since admitted that they need to change the culture of how they act. Worrying that the complaint was raised by another parent rather than another member of team who witnessed the incident. We had a terrible period at this childcare centre, which occurred after 6 months of my 1-year-old young lady attending 3 times a week. My little one has since moved to a new childcare centre and the change in her settling at nursery setting has been astonishing. Communication from the management during the 6-week investigation was also appalling. We were thrilled with this nursery setting up until this point when we had been informed that a member of personnel had failed to follow the respectable handling of little ones policy involving our young lady and had been suspended. Thankfully another parent had witnessed the behaviour and lodged a complaint, or we would have been none the wiser!

I have had both my kids go to Slough day childcare centre (now Bright Horizons Slough Day Nursery and Preschool). The childcare centre manager is approachable and exceptionally accommodating and does her best for youngsters and parents. I am always kept informed on how they are getting on and team go the extra mile to do what they can. I can see how much effort they put in to settle my little one. I would definitely endorse this setting to parents.

But the highlight is the team; they have been great to help our little one to adapt and to open up a bit. The sites are great, hygienic and well-kept, and there are always new activities to keep the little ones entertained and to help them absorb new things. The app is also exceptionally useful to stay in contact with the childcare centre to see what they are doing and how the day was. We absolutely suggest the place and had a wonderful time. They have always been supportive and patient, real stars of the place. Our little young lad had a great time at the childcare centre.

Great crew, well looked after, and the cleanest childcare centre I have ever seen. What a lovely early‑years hub. Communication is spot-on, I will put the word out to anyone who would like to go and put their kids there. They always tell me how my little ones have got on, they give me the rundown on whatever needs to be dealt with. I would say yes go-ahead hundred percent I’ve had no concerns about my little ones being there and had no issues at all. My first went there and now my second has been there for nine months. My two kids have been looked after extremely well for the prior couple of years there. Fantastic crew, correspondence between parents and the childcare centre is brilliant.

My girl joined in May 2021 and she has enjoyed going here that we’ve increased her days at the nursery setting. The personnel here are always accommodating and do try and contact you as soon as they can if you have any questions or concerns. I would advocate Slough Bright Horizon Day and Preschool to anyone who is looking, as the team here a great and cordial.

I would definitely suggest Bright Horizons to other parents looking for a nurturing and safe setting for their youngsters. My little one has been at Bright Horizons Slough since she was 6 months old. The childcare centre has always given importance to our preferences, likes and dislikes as well as giving parents the insight needed to know exactly how our youngsters are developing.
