Bright Horizons Salcombe Day Nursery and Preschool

She is now nearly four and in pre-school. I cannot suggest this childcare centre highly enough and that is mainly down to the team. My daughter took a while to settle in, and the team went above and beyond to make her sense comfortable. She loves going here and looks forward to going. She’s consistently telling me about the enjoyable she has had and is discovering so much at such a young age. The care is incredible and my daughter has formed loving bonds with each of her key persons, as well as other carers. The menu is incredible. She eats better than I do! The garden area is lovely with loads to do. They use their app really well. It’s updated throughout the day and they even send photos of activities. She has made some excellent friends too. This is an incredible and loving place and I’m planning on sending my youngest when I go back to work after maternity leave. Thank you Salcombe! My daughter has been attending this childcare centre since she was ten months old in the baby room.

My son loves the childcare centre and team and they are not only supportive of him but the whole family. The best review I can give you is if your kid runs into childcare centre at the beginning of the day without any tears and asks if they are going in on the weekend, what better review can you ask for?

The team really cares about the kids and are willing to help accommodate and add days where possible.

My eldest also went to the same childcare centre and they both had the same keyworker who has been just incredible. Besides her keyworker, all the team have been remarkable and provided my kid with an incredible setting to prepare her for big school. My daughter has been going to Salcombe for the last one year, five days a week and she absolutely loves it there.

My son in particular had very bad separation anxiety, but even in Covid times when parents are not allowed inside, the team managed this very well. They consistently have interesting activities planned and both key workers are excellent at feeding back information about their day. Management are also very approachable and responsive about any queries. We have 2 very cheerful kids at Salcombe.

She enjoys it very much and has made l lot of friends. I am impressed with the variety of enjoyable and discovering activities that the kids have at the childcare centre. I also appreciate very much being informed about my kid’s daily activities by email. I am sure she receives the best education and preparation for school. Never any concerns. I am very cheerful with the care that my daughter receives at the childcare centre.

She consistently has new ideas about how to assistance my son and is os enthusiastic about what he knows and what she can learn from him. She’s taken the time out to have long conversations with me about some challenging behaviours and came up with strategies to move my son away from these behaviours, strategies that she shared so we could reinforce at home and they are working really well. Keyworker is really engaged in what my son is doing, she can talk in detail about his day every day and consistently answer any questions I have habit/behaviour etc.

Is extremely easy to contact them and the reply is consistently clear, quick response and very supportive. They supported us, as members of NHS team, during the covid emergency, giving us the opportunity to focus on the job, with less stress on childcare. Their fearless and proactive help is what struck me the most. I have no words to express how grateful and cheerful I am about the journey. My daughter will leave the childcare centre for school very soon, but I am pretty sure we are going to visit the childcare centre/stay in touch very soon from September. Thank you all! The team at the childcare centre and all team members in general, are all welcoming, running the extra mile in order to accommodate a day extra activity, outside the usual booking programme.

I sense the childcare centre as a whole performs exceptionally.
My daughter has made a huge improvement in her talking and discovering new skills. My daughter attends the childcare centre three times a week, she is extremely cheerful!
All team are very polite and supportive!

I couldn’t suggest more. My son attends the pre-school room and all of the team are incredible – so interested in the kids and nourishing. The childcare centre have been outstanding, they are attentive and work with the parents.
