Bright Horizons Rose Cottage Haywards Heath Day Nursery and Prechool

We are so happy with Rose Cottage Day Nursery and our son absolutely loves it here. The staff are so kind and attentive, and he always comes home so happy and fulfilled. The life skills taught are great and the space to explore the animals and outside area are fantastic! Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend Rose Cottage enough. My daughter has loved her time there, only leaving this week as she is starting school. They have prepared her so well that I have no concerns about her settling into school. The staff are all wonderful with the kids and manage to think of new things to do with them every day. The outside space is definitely what attracted me to Rose Cottage in the first place. They spend a lot of time in the garden and woods which is what my daughter enjoys the most, plus the added bonus of animals which you wouldn’t get with most nurseries. Very sad my daughter’s time has come to an end but wouldn’t hesitate to send my new baby there once she is old enough.

The team here are incredible. My daughter was with Rose Cottage for over three years. I have never been happier. With regular feedback, I always felt I was a part of my daughter’s nursery journey. The staff are caring, kind and extremely nurturing. My daughter was given tools to become a confident, caring and bubbly character and that is a credit to the hard work of the staff at Rose Cottage.

I am so pleased we chose Rose Cottage for our son. He started when he was 11-months-old and thanks to the brilliant staff in the baby room he settled in so well. The facilities are great and they put a lot of effort and creativity into the activities for the babies to do. The online journal updates of what they have been up to are great and we get regular learning/development updates too.
I feel really confident leaving my son there for the day as I know he will have fun and be well looked after. Even on his more ‘sensitive’ days, they have comforted him and I know he feels safe there. He often doesn’t look back to say goodbye when I drop him off!

It’s a wonderful place, especially the outside where the children are encouraged to play in nature in a safe and caring environment.

My daughter has settled so easily into nursery life, a testament to how lovely the staff are.

Its a lovely nursery. The best in terms of the outdoor space and activities, professional and caring staff. The Rose Cottage nursery is generous with acquiring things for craft, art and different activities (comparing with the other nurseries in our area).

My son started in September 2022. We were invited to settling sessions and discussions with his key worker about him! From day one we had confidence in the team that they would deliver care to our baby. Our son has a food allergy and the team have always strived to ensure that they do the best for him, that they can do. He has settled well into the nursery and he adores all the staff. He’s adapted to the environment and daily routine and thrives! The communication we receive from the nursery is outstanding and we wouldn’t want to send him to any other day care.

We are delighted with all that Rose Cottage has done for our son and can’t wait until his younger brother can also join. The staff are all so caring and attentive, yet encourage the children to develop their own individual characters and have fun with it. They do a lot of outdoor activities and animal petting, which the kids love. We have noticed our son come on leaps and bounds since starting at Rose Cottage and absolutely loves it. He is always so excited to go to nursery and is constantly talking about both the staff and other kids there, when he is at home. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

My daughter absolutely loves attending this nursery, she is always excited to go here and the interaction with animals is wonderful. Her development has come on leaps and bounds. The interaction with the staff has been wonderful for the almost 2 years she has been there and they have been exceptional at catering to her multiple allergies.

The staff make this place, they are very warm and supportive of my daughter and her friends and show real affection towards their little charges.
The large outside space in the woods with the big wooden fort is an excellent facility, along with the animals, meaning that my daughter gets to spend as much time outside as possible.
My daughter’s development is well supported and she has made some very close friends. We have even made friends with other parents through her friendships in the nursery.
