Bright Horizons Millhouses Day Nursery and Preschool

They’ve thought of every little detail to help our two settle back in after the first lockdown. We never have a single concern leaving them in their care each day. And the variety of things the kids get up to is incredible. Our preschooler is showing an independence and readying for school which is thanks to his key worker and team in that room. And our little one in baby room has nothing but enjoyable and cuddles as she needs it. My only slightly negative comment is the setting, which can’t be helped by the childcare centre. It is right near a well-known fast-food outlet which can mean large queues and I do wonder about local pollution for the kids. This setting has consistently been top-notch but Covid has truly shown how on it the team are here.

All of the team members have shown excellent care and attention to our kids and helped build their self‑assurance as well as helping with early-stage discovering, and the way they have coped with the lock-down and the extra issues they have to deal with daily has been nothing short of remarkable. Our son is consistently cheerful to go to childcare centre (as was his sister) and we know from other parents who speak glowingly about the childcare centre that they provide a cheerful and stable and loving setting and that is all we can ask of them. Many thanks, keep up the great work. The Team at Bright Horizons, Millhouses, have been exceptional for our eldest daughter (now at school) and our 3-year-old son, and we have no hesitation sending our newborn daughter (7 months old) to them in the New Year.

We’re moving away from the area so unfortunately having to pull her out.
She has made so many friends and we can’t compliment the team enough. They’ve supported her and us through this stage of her development, kept constant updates and updates of her development. I fully believe that she’s made incredible development simply due to the quality of care and attention she’s received from this childcare centre! Thanks everyone! Our daughter has been at Bright Horizons for 18 months (six months to two years old) and has loved every second!

They have been remarkable over the last 12 months looking after our son and were highly flexible when we needed to change days around due to Covid. I adore the little information sheets we get each day, the photos and development reports and our son loves it there. His key worker and everyone in the baby room and the management team are remarkable with him. We looked around a few different nurseries but this one stood out by a mile. It was the longest tour we did as the team just had so much to say about their health and safety and educational plans but we left knowing that we didn’t need to visit any more nurseries and we were right – our son loves it there. I cannot rate this childcare centre highly enough.

We go for 2 half days a week and she loves it, I especially like that when our little girl goes she has the same key workers every time which is a truly nice for her to see someone she recognises. At the end of every afternoon, we get a little report of what she has eaten, if she has napped and if she has had a nappy change. I personally adore this.
At first, I honestly thought it was a little expensive for the service you are receiving, it’s not too bad. Our little girl joined the childcare centre mid lockdown, I was a little apprehensive at first because of coronavirus, but the team put my mind at ease explaining the cleaning routine of the baby room.

My little boy loves it there and the team are absolutely remarkable. Excellent handling of the COVID-19 situation also. Was easily our first choice childcare centre and we certainly haven’t been disappointed since.

We started in the toddler room 2 years ago and we are in preschool now which is still incredible, I leave my son there as I know he is in great hands and well looked after! Thank you Bright Horizons, all the exceptional team and the exceptional manager! I am truly cheerful with the choice I have made to bring my son to this childcare centre, they have got a lot of journey, are highly compassionate, highly supportive.

They have gone above and beyond throughout this highly difficult time to ensure kid/team safety and parents too! The choice of food is second to none and they are highly mindful of any allergies/special dietary requirements. My son loves his time here and the team have been incredible with him and continue to be. My only negative is the day my son will finally have to bid farewell once he starts school next year. I cannot suggest this childcare centre enough, all the team are absolutely remarkable, welcoming and exceptionally supportive.

We relocated to Sheffield recently, so the prospect of childcare centre settling for both kids, was causing me a lot of anxiety, but it needn’t have. All the team are so expert, approachable and hardworking and my kids are highly cheerful. Highly suggest! I have a kid in the baby room and in the pre-school room and have been nothing but impressed by both.

It is one of his favourite things during the week and it has helped him develop and grow and his updates skills have certainly benefitted from attending here. We would highly suggest this childcare centre as the team are welcoming, full of energy and consistently highly enthusiastic about our son’s development. The management are also second to none, with constant and effective updates between the childcare centre and ourselves, especially during particularly challenging times, such as with coronavirus. We couldn’t suggest them enough! Our son loves going to this childcare centre.
