I trust the team to take the best care of our daughter. The childcare centre has great quality books, toys and facilities, and serves a healthy variety of food. Our daughter seems highly comfortable at cheerful at the childcare centre. A excellent childcare centre with welcoming, attentive team, who uphold high standards in all areas of childcare.

Lots of enjoyable activities for the little ones and it was nice to talk to the girls that work here and find out more about how my little boy gets on at childcare centre.

Standards and procedures are great and consistent, which is the key benefit of going for the Bright Horizons chain rather than an independent childcare centre.
Team, discovering, equipment, activities and food are all great, no complaints.
On the downside (particularly in comparison with the previous childcare centre):
    1) The facilities (both inside and the outside playing area) are smaller than the childcare centre he previously attended. The baby room is upstairs, which makes it slightly more difficult to access than his previous childcare centre where all the rooms were on the ground floor.
    2) It’s a bit more expensive than the previous (independent) childcare centre as it belongs to the Bright Horizons network (in our journey, Bright Horizons nurseries can be 10-20% more expensive than independent nurseries).
    3) Our previous childcare centre shared pictures of daily activities through a secure app, which we thought was a truly nice touch. Bright Horizons nurseries don’t do that. This is the second childcare centre our son has attended.

I have noticed a excellent improvement in the running of the childcare centre. My son is cared for in a neat setting and has even started going to the library. Many thanks to the deputy manager and team. My son has been attending this childcare centre for nearly two years.

I was having a chat with the Room Leader about how my son was getting on. The Manager must have sensed that it was a delicate discussion that we were having because she allowed that member of team to have a meeting with me there and then. We went to a private room to finish the conversation whilst the Manager covered the Room Leader. I don’t if I ever said thank you, but I truly appreciated the time and it meant a lot to me. Thank you. A positive journey that I have had was last year in the preschool room.

The manager is a excellent manager, she is nice to every kid. Even the room leaders are exceptional and they do a great job. Bright Horizons Lee Park Day Childcare centre and Preschool is a highly outstanding place for young people to build their discovering for primary, for example, they learn about Martin Luther King and what led to now.

From the moment I brought my daughter here, it has consistently felt more like leaving her with family. All of the team have consistently been so supportive. When I have had issues with my daughter’s routine at home with things like sleeping and eating and behaviours. They consistently make time to share practices that may help. I have been so appreciative because I am a single mum of two and it has been challenging. This is a excellent childcare centre and the team truly make it that way. Thank you Lee Park Childcare centre for all you do. I have been to many nurseries, this one is by far the best.

This childcare centre is excellent. Team are highly welcoming and welcoming. I would suggest this place to everyone with little ones. Ever since enrolling my kid I’ve seen many improvements within them, this includes their self‑assurance, language and social skills.

We got a lovely feeling when we were shown round and all the team were incredibly lovely and thoughtful. The team have truly been encouraging my little one to develop his skills, from using cutlery, playing with others, and talking. He has truly come on well since he started attending childcare centre and I sense so confident in the team’s ability to care for and teach the kids. He happily walks into childcare centre ready to have breakfast and playtime with the team and his peers. We are so cheerful that we have sent our kid to Bright Horizons Lee Park Day Childcare centre and Preschool.

The new childcare centre management team are making excellent efforts to develop the look of the childcare centre and offer the kids more experiences, such as discovering Italian and German. My boy loves the exciting activities like volcano building, as well as having space for outdoor free playtime with his friends. I’d also mention the food is nutritious and my (picky) toddler loves it. He eats everything at childcare centre. My son is in preschool at Lee Park.

He loves the activities, eats well, and loves that he can playtime indoors and outdoors. The range of crafts and music, as well as language development, is fantastic. The team are attentive, engaged and expert. I highly suggest this childcare centre. My 2-year-old son is full-time, five days a week at Bright Horizons Lee Park and has thrived there.

Everyone seems relaxed and cheerful and there is an energy about the place, with loads of new initiatives to help improve the journey for the kids and engage the parents and carers. Since the most recent change of management, there has been a different atmosphere in a truly great way.

We are pleased with the care his receives there. The team, care for the kids and have gone out of their way to try and get us help regarding his speech development. They are consistently organising enjoyable activities for the kids as well. Our son enjoys his days there a bit too much at times, as he doesn’t nap! But all in all, he is cheerful there and we are cheerful with him! Our son has been at the Lee Park, Bright Horizons, for 7 months.

The team are generally highly compassionate and care about the kids. It is a secure place and a nice setting.
However, there are so many ways in which it could be an outstanding childcare centre. Lots of attention to detail is missing. The updates can be haphazard. It is vital to get this right when you are putting a young kid in a new setting for the first time.
Despite planning the rota in advance, team have seemed surprised to see us on some days.
There is room for improvement in leadership – just somebody checking in during the last half an hour before parents arrive that all log books are up to date, would be a great start.
And planning ahead on the menus – banana seems to be given as the main fruit and sweet potato the main vegetable.
Team work hard and do their best in a challenging setting. It is a hard and valuable job. I get the impression that there are pressures on the team rota and turnover which contribute to some of the issues highlighted. Bright Horizons has some plus points.

It’s consistently been well run with lovely and competent team but the recent management team is especially fantastic. So many new ideas, creative activities and development updates for parents. The kids have consistently loved going and consider their key person extended family. We’ve been with this childcare centre for nearly five years now with our first, then second kid.

They truly took the time to get to know his correct routine and habits. Management was consistently available and truly talked us through the process. The team in the baby room have been incredible at settling my son into the childcare centre and truly made me sense ar wase with going back to work.

My kid seems to delight in attending this childcare centre. He likes his team leader and all the other team he interacts with.
Since starting the childcare centre his interaction with other kids has definitely improved as well. Have had a fantastic journey so far with the childcare centre.
