Bright Horizons Lancaster Day Nursery and Preschool

The team really enjoys going to preschool. The team are really great in what they do. I do like the part where I get detailed reports about my son’s development and how I will be able to continue them at home (fine and gross motor skills, letters, numbers, doing simple chores). Remarkable and incredible team. I am cheerful that I chose Bright Horizons for my son. My son really enjoys going to preschool.

All the team keep me updated with any changes or issues that have arisen and my son really enjoys going. He is consistently cheerful after a full day at childcare centre and loves telling me all the enjoyable things he’s been up to.
I fully trust each member of team to care for my kid and they are all cheerful to see him, every day that he goes. Bright Horizons at Lancaster, is a remarkable childcare centre.

The assistance from the team to settle her in during the pandemic, whereby prior to attending childcare centre she had very little contact with other people has just been remarkable. This has also made my return to work really easy!
Since starting childcare centre, my daughter has taken a particular shine to one of the childcare centre workers. Once she sees her smiley face welcoming her in the morning there’s no looking back to me or her daddy!
Having said that, the manager and all the team have been incredible during these uncertain times. We rely on the childcare centre so much to ensure we can still work. How they have managed the situation is an absolute credit to the team!
On behalf of myself, my husband and most importantly the childcare centre worker…thank you all so much, you’re all doing a fab job! It really hasn’t gone unnoticed! I cannot suggest the childcare centre enough, the dedication and time given to our daughter since starting childcare centre have been incredible!

Both adore going and consistently come out full of beans and talking about their day.
They both started in the baby room and the assistance for new parents and the babies is outstanding and they seem to just be able to deal with anything.
The key workers for both kids are loved by the kids so that just shows how well the whole setup works.
The whole team seem very expert and welcoming, including all the assistance team who we don’t see very often.
The response during the pandemic has been outstanding, open all the way through and running the childcare centre even with reduced numbers sometimes. We hardly noticed a difference it was dealt with so well.
Our son, the eldest kid, moves on to school in September, and he’s already asking if he can see the team after school when we pick up our daughter, which says it all.
Outstanding childcare centre and a special thanks to the key workers. Both our kids are going through the childcare centre at the moment, one pre-school and one in the intermediate room.

They adore their time there and have consistently been cheerful to attend. The team are absolutely remarkable and really care about the kids and know them well. There have been issues around team retention, especially within the baby room and frequent key worker changes which is a worry as a parent but those team who are longstanding can’t be faulted. The menu is the most negative aspect of the childcare centre, a lot of high sugar and processed foods with little healthy and vegetable-based foods but kids do adore it. The new app has improved updates and is excellent for pictures. We have two kids in the setting at the moment and are very pleased with how they’re looked after.

She’s made loads of friends, loves the team and the childcare centre has helped her learn so many new skills. My daughter is in her last year at childcare centre, after being at childcare centre from 9 months old.

My daughter has been attending since she was 8 months old and she is due to leave for school next week and I couldn’t have wished for a better childcare centre/pre-school. Every single member of team is welcoming, compassionate, alert, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to the development and wellbeing of the kids.
Our personal circumstances are such that my daughter often needs some extra TLC on arrival/throughout the day and I will be forever grateful to the team for their assistance and understanding and for the reassurance and affection they’ve given my daughter. They are second to none!
The childcare centre is run extremely well and the level of detail and thought that goes into activities for the kids, and adults, is incredible.
I honestly cannot thank Bright Horizons Lancaster enough for everything they’ve done for my daughter and our family. We will all miss you.

The team in the toddler room are absolutely fantastic with my daughter. They are very welcoming, attentive and compassionate and are genuinely interested in kids’s well-being. My daughter needs extra assistance with her speech as her speech is delayed and the team have been very supportive and is in close contact with my daughter’s speech therapist. Very thankful for their assistance! They also provide nutritious and healthy food for kids. Highly suggest (already recommended to many friends) Bright Horizons Lancaster Day Childcare centre and Preschool! Bright Horizons is a very lovely childcare centre/preschool and provides high-quality care and education.

I think he receives lots of cuddles from the lovely carers and has become particularly fond of them. He occasionally shows off some of the skills he has acquired from the childcare centre like pretending to read books belonging to his elder siblings. My boy enjoys going to childcare centre.

He has come along so well, and learned a lot here and with your help, so I just want to say a big thank you. I’m sure he will miss you all. Thank you for being there for us xx From 1 year old my son joined Bright Horizons.
