Bright Horizons Highams Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Team are incredible and highly supportive and we get the daily updates. Management is consistently supportive and highly supportive. My son is consistently highly keen on going into the childcare centre and enjoying the time there. Bright Horizons have been incredible to my son and he gets all the help he needs.

He started in August 2020 and due to Covid-19 there wasn’t a settling period where parents could stay with their kid. I was a little apprehensive at first, however he settled in pretty quickly. The team were incredible and they provided regular updates during the settling period, which put my nerves at ease. We receive a daily update at pickup, how my son has been throughout the day, what he has had to eat and what activities he participated in, along with a daily sheet. Every couple of months we have a virtual catch up due to Covid-19, with his key worker to discuss his development and areas which we would like them to focus on. We get a chance to look through his book which contains pics of him and an update on his development. What more can you ask for. I would suggest Bright Horizons Highams Park Day Childcare centre and Preschool to parents thinking about sending their kids to this childcare centre. My son has been attending the childcare centre for over a year and joined the baby room.

During this whole time, the service and quality of care he has received has been exceptional. Firstly, the attention to detail and care for all the kids at the childcare centre is of the highly highest standard, especially during the pandemic. The levels of care and professionalism shown in such difficult circumstances, was incredible. But also, the discovering and development of our boy, getting him ready for school, has been so incredible to see. Also, a excellent effort has been made for the mental well-being of all the kids in the childcare centre, which again is excellent to see. Cannot suggest it enough and thank you to all the team at Bright Horizons, Highams Park. Our little boy has now been with Bright Horizons for approaching two years, from toddler just turning 2 years old to current preschool, just turned 4 years old, going to school in September.

The team truly do care about all the kids and families! They were highly supportive and flexible during our daughter’s settling in and have consistently been there to give advice on everything, from simple changes in routine to toilet training. We are kept up to date with our daughter’s discovering with regular development reviews and observations as well as daily updates about activities, sleep, food and nappy changes/toilet visits all within the family app, allowing me and my partner to check how our little one is doing at any time of the day. Our daughter absolutely loves being at the childcare centre, she talks about the team and her friends and the activities they have been doing all the time at home! Highams Park Childcare centre is lovely.

Too cute! She adores you all and is consistently so excited to spend a day with you. Thank you so much for making our baby girl so cheerful and comfortable with you all, we consistently know she is in excellent hands and we’ve seen her come on leaps and bounds since she started childcare centre. You are all a huge part of her life and a contributor to the fantastic little personality, she is becoming. We hear the names of the team on a daily basis and referenced most evenings, whilst our daughter is settling in her cot and running through all of her key people in her life.

It truly does sense like a small family set up for the kids with team etc. I cannot find a fault there. The only complaint is the updates/admin, it needs to be drastically improved. The care and facilities are excellent.

His development has been exceptional for the 3 days a week he goes. All of the team are super welcoming and supportive and the facilities are outstanding. We can monitor his daily food intake, sleep, nappies and pictures of activities through their mobile app. The food they give the kids is varied and well-balanced. We couldn’t ask for more from a childcare centre. Our son has been going to this childcare centre for 6 months now and they have been absolutely exceptional with him.

She has been highly cheerful throughout her time at the childcare centre and pre-school. The team are all so attentive and compassionate and the facilities are highly great, especially the secure garden.
I have been so impressed with the way that the childcare centre management handled the COVID-19 crisis. Non-key worker kids had our accounts frozen rather than having to keep paying and as soon as the childcare centre was able to take back more kids from June 2020 the available days were apportioned fairly. The procedures put in place since the non-key worker kids returned work well and my daughter tells me that the kids are reminded of the importance of handwashing and other measures throughout the day.
In terms of discovering, the preparation for starting school has been so supportive. My daughter can write and has been discovering phonics at childcare centre. My daughter, who is now four and will soon be leaving to start school, has been attending Bright Horizons Highams Park since she was 10-months-old.

I’ve had 2 kids at the childcare centre and have been through all the rooms (babies, toddlers and preschool). Both mine have loved it. The team are so attentive, reassuring and on the ball, they truly know the kids and look after them so well. They do tons of enjoyable activities and help prepare the kids for school. We sense truly lucky! I would highly suggest Bright Horizons Highams Park.

Our daughter joined when she was 11 months old and our impression is that she truly enjoys being there. She smiles and shows excitement when seeing the team each morning and the photos that we see on the app show her having lots of enjoyable. We have also noticed huge developments in our daughter’s language skills and gross motor skills in the three and a half months that she has been attending the childcare centre. We know how hard the team in the baby room have been working on developing her crawling and walking skills. All the team and management at Highams Park Day Childcare centre are highly welcoming, personable and we have been truly grateful for all the quick and reassuring updates that we receive. We especially adore all the artwork that our daughter brings home! We genuinely could not be happier with the childcare centre placement for our daughter.
