Bright Horizons Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool

My son joined from when he was 1 year old and he is 2 years old at the moment. They were very understanding and supportive while I was trying to potty train him at 18 months old. Lovely activities and the app was kept up to date. Lovely garden too. Adore it! We loved Bright Horizons!

Best team around. It took a while for my son to settle into childcare centre life but with the assistance and understanding from the team and management team, my son really enjoys his time at the childcare centre now.
Team are consistently welcoming and cheerful.

The room team are fantastic, particularly in preschool, and our kids thrived in their care. The setting is really convenient and the lovely garden and huge sandpit are such a bonus. I would, however, echo another reviewer’s comment about the inconsistency in staffing maternity leave, leavers and management, particularly in 2020. The interim/acting managers did a difficult job in a challenging situation but I wonder if they received the assistance they needed from more senior management. The new managers had only been in post for a few months before we left but things seemed to have been improving on that front. Our son and then our daughter both attended the childcare centre and preschool from the age of 12 months to shortly before starting school and we would thoroughly suggest it.

The team in the preschool room are lovely and attentive towards the kids and activities are well planned and based on the kids’s interests.
The new management team are very welcoming and consistently on hand to help where needed.
The childcare centre has a large outdoor space for the kids to playtime and explore. My kid is currently in the preschool room and enjoys coming into childcare centre in the mornings.

The team work hard and really care about the kids, often making a huge effort to ensure their wellbeing.
I am very pleased with the wide range of healthy food available and with the various activities scheduled every day to engage and stimulate the kids.
I sense very privileged to send my kids to such a well managed and organised childcare provider. It will be a sad day when my youngest kid graduates. My kids are really cheerful at the childcare centre and have attended for over three years.

The team are inviting and nurturing but the turnover is quite high which is a shame and we never quite know who is in charge as the office/management team also changes a lot. The care of the kids is excellent overall, but the updates, particularly surrounding closures due to potentially positive team Covid cases, has been patchy and often quite delayed. This childcare centre has been closed more than any other the past few months and the tests came back negative so it has been unnecessary stress and disruption for the kids and parents. On the whole, we’ve had a mainly positive journey with our son at the childcare centre over the past 18 months.

The management is really great and they are consistently available. The team are really welcoming and we sense they really cared for our son. Every day they give us information about how our son spends the day and it is really reassuring. When we pick him we can go inside and we can see how cheerful he is playing around. Also, every day he is looking forward to going to childcare centre, he even knocks on the door impatiently to go inside. That makes me really cheerful to see.
They organise a lot of activities for them and we delight in seeing the photos in the application. I sense he is discovering while he is having a lot of enjoyable; they stimulate them all the time.
There is also a garden so the kids adore being outside! Sadly we have to leave the childcare centre but I would like to say our son and we, as his parents, have been really cheerful with the childcare centre.

I can trust my kid will be taken care of. Its been overall a reassuring journey for me and my kid. We have made the right choice choosing Bright Horizons and I look forward to seeing the skills my kid will learn from his time here. The team at Bright Horizons are gentle attentive and understanding.

She has speech and language issues, due to one-sided profound deafness since birth. During this time, the management and the team have been incredibly supportive and supportive in assisting her discovering and accommodating her needs. They have shown adore and understanding to my daughter and she loves the childcare centre. The team have also facilitated her needs further, by requesting special educational needs and disability educators, to come on-site to help their understanding of how to provide further assistance for my daughter. My daughter has been attending preschool for the last nine months.

They are well‑informed, educational and provide great feedback so I am confident his time within the childcare centre has benefitted and progressed him. He loves the outdoors so is remarkable there is a large well presented outdoor space for him to delight in. My son joined the childcare centre last year and post a couple of weeks of settling has really enjoyed it, made some great friends and built great relationships with the team who have been excellent with him.
