Bright Horizons Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool

We were very anxious about our son’s first experience at the nursery being a young 13 month old. He, however, was taken care of really well. We can see him learn and become more comfortable and confident with each passing week.
We would especially like to appreciate one member of staff in particular for her care and devotion to our son.
He would not have settled as quickly if there wasn’t the support provided by her.

My daughter started in January 2019. As a mum who has worked in previous nurseries over the years, you get to see the majority of nurseries have their pros and cons. However, I honestly can say I have nothing bad to say about this nursery whatsoever. The preschool team are absolutely amazing and have made me feel so comfortable and are just amazing with my daughter. They literally go above and beyond. The nursery setting is great, it has everything needed to support your child’s development. My daughter goes to school in September and I can genuinely say I’m sad to be leaving such a fab, loving, caring team. Every morning the manager and deputy manager make you and your child feel so welcome. The chef is such a lovely lady who comes out of her way to greet me and speak with me herself regarding my daughter’s dietary requirements which I think it’s so important to me as a parent. I can’t thank the managers and preschool team enough!

My son has attended Chineham Park Day Nursery since July 2021, since he was two years and ten months old. Since he has started, the difference in his development has improved drastically. He wasn’t talking as much and struggled to build relationships with new people, children and adults. Within such a short space of time, he is a different child. He is now putting complex sentences together, as well as forming friendships with others. He is also starting to manage his feelings and emotions much better, and isn’t having so many ‘tantrums.’ My plan is to keep my son here until he starts school in September 2023 as he has thrived so much already, and I look forward to seeing him in two years time. Thank you to everyone who has looked after him so far.

My son has been attending Bright Horizons Chineham park since September 2021.
He is coming on leaps and bounds since starting the nursery. I love dropping him off in the mornings, knowing he will be well looked after and have lots of fun all day long.
The app is great and staff update it every day with photos and messages about your child, I look forward to seeing my son’s photos so much!
They also update it with meal times so you can see what your child has eaten at what times throughout the day.
The staff are brilliant, they are always happy to help and make me feel really reassured that my son has the best care.
My son has started speaking recently and now says someone is his best friend at nursery which is really sweet.
The kids are allowed out to play in the garden whenever they want, they dress up for special occasions and even got an Easter egg from the Easter bunny recently.
They do baking in a cute little kitchen especially for the kids, which my son loves.

2 of my sons have attended Bright Horizons Chineham Park and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the level of care, attention, enthusiasm and kindness that they show. All activities are thoughtfully planned and the kids always have fantastic crafts, paintings, models and certificates of achievement to bring home. Recently they’ve had fantastic visitors and special event days where the team make such a big effort to make sure each child learns something special from it, feels included, and takes something home to remember the special day. Every single member of staff knows my son’s name and welcomes him each morning and asks how he is, which is so important to start the day in a positive way – I love all of the members of staff and enjoy chatting to them, not just about my son’s development but also just enjoy chatting to them because they’re such nice people! Thank you all so much for everything! Xx

My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was 7 months old, as I returned to work. She’s now 20 months old and has come on leaps and bounds! She runs inside, in the morning, happy, enjoys all the different activities and I can see what she has been up to/eaten through the app. The staff are lovely and helpful – they all know her name even the ones who don’t work in the Bunnies room. She has learnt so much and I know that is down to the nursery! We would definitely recommend. I will also be sending my newborn there, when I’m back at work again!

An amazing nursery which my daughter loves going to. She can’t wait for Monday morning to get her bag on and get down there. She is constantly talking about two of the staff saying how much she loves them. Brilliant app which is updated throughout the day with info on eating, activities and naps. Couldn’t be happier with our choice.

My son started there early this year and he is accommodating in nicely all thanks to the amazing staff! As a first-time mom I was very anxious about this new beginning and I want to say the staff is very supportive and they are there for the parents as much as they are for the kids.
I love the open communication and they are easy to talk and definitely helps building that trust report. It does put my mind at ease how dedicated they are and committed to meeting my child’s needs. There is lots of learning and planned activities going on for the kids and my boy seems to come home really happy! Every week he is learning something new
I would 100% recommend this place to every parent! Kids will love it and they are in really good hands.

The nursery team is wonderful! All staff are warm and welcoming and have helped my son settle in well. The team for my son’s group are always caring and engaging and offers a wide range of activities throughout the day. The app is great, it’s lovely to see photos of the day and details of what my son has been up to and how he’s eaten and slept throughout the day. I’m really happy with the care my son receives. Would definitely recommend it, thank you Chineham Park team!

Very pleased with our little one’s development. He loves everyone here and is always so happy to come to the nursery. We definitely feel this is a safe space for him. We can’t wait to bring his little sister to this nursery as well.
