    At every stage, the girls have genuinely given me the reassurance that our son is looked after as though he is one of their own, so much care, attention and adore is given and so much thought into the activities and discovering that has really helped our son develop and excel. The management are consistently very approachable and consistently very involved with the day-to-day and their efforts show how well the childcare centre is run and the atmosphere of a true home-from-home and family vibe you sense. Truly outstanding. My kid has been with Bright Horizons, Chigwell since just after his first birthday and is now 3 years old and in the preschool room.
    His journey with Bright Horizons has been incredible, from his first settles where the team were very welcoming and reassuring helping us through the most anxious moments and starting his journey, through to toddlers where he really started to develop and delight in a wide range of activities with the ladies and now in preschool where he has really come into his stride.

    Management and team are exceptional, and my daughter has had the best time here.
    The place is very welcoming and spotless, and the team consistently have smiles on their faces. The kids go in cheerful and leave cheerful. Bright Horizons Chigwell is a remarkable daycare.

    She is cheerful and talks enthusiastically about her time at childcare centre, but you can’t help but wonder what all the team changes do to the continuity of care for the kids. Just as they get close to a teacher, they leave. Updates/handovers have also been an issue (too brief or entirely lacking), but it seems to have improved of late which is a positive sign that the childcare centre is listening to parents’ needs. The childcare centre has great wall displays and the kids have a rich discovering setting (definitely in the older age rooms). The outdoor space is very great and the kids are given lots of time to playtime out there. Overall, this childcare centre has had to find its way again and I think team retention is still an issue, but the kids are cared for. Our daughter has been at the childcare centre for two years and over that time she has moved through four rooms and three times as many key workers.

    My daughter loves coming to childcare centre and is consistently really cheerful when I come to pick her up at the end of the day, telling me the things she got up to and I have noticed her improvement with independence, talking, counting and singing, since coming to childcare centre.

    I cannot praise it enough.
    He is now 3 and absolutely loves going. He runs in with a huge smile. He is inundated with new activities, games, praise, kindness and wholesome meals. I consistently receive a full account of his morning, what he has eaten, when he went to the toilet etc alongside many photos and paintings. The childcare centre has been a secure haven for him during this tumultuous time and I will be ever grateful that he has had the chance to safely playtime, express himself and have friends. I find the team passionate, compassionate, thorough and compassionate. Thank you Bright Horizon Chigwell. My son has been attending this childcare centre since he was 4 months old.

    There has been a change in management during COVID and either as a result or alongside it, a lot of volatility with team and resourcing which is somewhat concerning.
    Updates could be better on a daily basis as with the introduction of the app daily updates were promised on what the kids are doing and photos etc however this is not the reality. That said my little girl seems very cheerful in the setting and appears to be well looked after, hence an additional star to what would have been a three-star review. We have been a part of the childcare centre since March 2020 and it was consistently a excellent, welcoming setting.

    I am so cheerful that I decided to send them here out of all the places we visited I knew straight away that this was the best place for my son and he has thrived there. He consistently goes in with a smile and the team are so compassionate. Both of my kids take part in different activities every day and spend lots of time in the remarkable outdoor space. We also receive their artwork and photos of what they have been up to during the day. Since the start of the pandemic, the childcare centre has had to make lots of changes and adapt to the challenges brought about by COVID-19 but the one thing that hasn’t changed is the high standard of care received by my kids. I would like to say a huge thank you to all the team that look after my kids and have helped us keep some normality in their lives especially the keyworker who has spent a considerable amount of time with both kids and consistently gone above and beyond to ensure their happiness. My son has attended this childcare centre for 2 years and my daughter recently started too.

    Our kid is already year and a half at the Chigwell Bright Horizons childcare centre.
    We are very cheerful with the kid care and overall with everything in the childcare centre.
    Team are very well‑informed and expert.

    The setting is great, with lots of parking and garden space. There has been a couple of changes in management over the years, with varying success and changes but generally, all at the childcare centre strive to be outstanding childcare providers. The baby room, in particular, is outstanding- the team has consistently been welcoming and extremely hardworking. Have sent my kids to this childcare centre for fiver years now.

    She only attends for funded hours but in that time is given so many varied activities to do and that too all tailored at her level/needs. The team are very approachable and responsive to my queries. I really sense like we are working as a team in the growth of my kid’s development. The team (her room manager) are never hesitant in speaking with me for a minute o two regarding my daughter. The team in Starfish are incredible, very welcoming team at the front desk, consistently a smiling manager. Since she has moved into Starfish it’s only been 2 months and thanks to the room manager she has made my daughter blossom into a confident, explorative and mature little lady. I am extremely pleased with the development my daughter is making at this childcare centre.

    However, after a change in management and a few childcare centre team leaving the standards have really gone downhill I’m afraid to say.
    COVID rules are not being followed, resulting in many COVID cases within the childcare centre. When my son started off at Chigwell Bright Horizons, I couldn’t have been happier.

    From day 1, Our son has been treated in an exceptional manner and his development has come a long way. The childcare centre team have made a concerted effort to help him integrate, and sense comfortable and loved, something that we have noticed over the last year.
    The other kids interact well with him and consistently greet/say goodbye when he arrives which helps us as parents to have peace of mind about how he is viewed.
    The manager, deputy manager, team that looks after his class, kitchen team, and janitorial team are all expert, extremely courteous and consistently very compassionate to our kid.
    This is a childcare centre that I would suggest to any parent in the area as they are a definite cut above the rest. Our youngest is on the autistic spectrum and whilst he has a calm temperament, we struggled to find a childcare centre that would even allow him to visit for a trial.
    With Bright Horizons we had a completely different journey.

    It is a enjoyable, secure and nurturing setting and the team genuinely seem to care. The activities are structures and educational and suited to my kid’s needs. I suggest the childcare centre to lots of other people. Any small issues I’ve had have consistently been quickly resolved by management. I couldn’t be any happier with the childcare centre.

    Both of my kids attend, and they are consistently engaged in interesting, enjoyable activities in a nurturing setting. The team are well trained and welcoming, the management team are extremely approachable, and the updates with parents is very great. The facilities are excellent – plenty of indoor space, air conditioning, a great range of toys and activities consistently available… with the main selling point being their incredible outdoor space, including a range of playtime areas, a vegetable garden and football field, perfect for keeping our energetic kids cheerful. As an added bonus they run a holiday and after-school club for older kids. I trust them implicitly with my kids and would highly suggest this childcare centre to any prospective family. This is a terrific childcare centre.

    Where there is an issue or something not in line with our pre-agreed schedule, etc. they are quick to communicate with us and offer suggestions or just informing us as appropriate.
    All team we have found to be lovely and personable throughout which is very warming as a parent. Our daughter is new to the childcare centre but we have found that generally she has settled very well, which I think is primarily thanks to two members of team who have been excellent with her.
    We are consistently kept updated on her development and how she’s done each day.

    He started here when he was 9 months old and after a fantastic settling in period, he loves childcare centre now. The team are fantastic and take so much care and attention. I am worry free knowing he is in excellent hands. All team and management are super supportive and welcoming and genuinely want to help and just say hello, which makes it so inviting and personable. Getting to see the updates throughout the day helps so much and enables me as a parent to see what my kid is doing. The variety of food and cleanliness is excellent and just what we want to see as a parent. The childcare centre has sufficient car parking so I can easily drop off and pick up my little one without worrying about where to park. Outstanding service and care overall and could not be happier that my little one goes here. The childcare centre is absolutely remarkable for my little one.

    From the updates in getting them enrolled, to the exceptional settling-in schedule, everything was easy to get in place. The team, from management to key workers are incredible professionals who clearly delight in what they do and consistently find time to speak to you as a parent. The app is a excellent resource and is updated comprehensively throughout the day, which is remarkable for parents to see. There is a excellent curriculum and educational focus, alongside playtime and discovering key social skills. My kids have really come on in only a few weeks and adore their preschool days. I’m so far delighted with our journey. My 3-year-old twins have recently started at Bright Horizons, Chigwell Preschool and I couldn’t be happier with our choice of childcare centre.

    I adore the regular updates and reports. She is napping and eating better than ever and loves her key worker so much. Really cheerful so far with everything and have no complaints! My kid has settled in so well.

    My daughter received exceptional care and assistance from the team.
    I am pleased to hear that an app will be deployed soon which will be useful and more interactive. My kid commenced childcare centre during the first lockdown, and whilst it was extremely daunting as a parent, the team were incredibly supportive and made the settling in period easier than expected.

    Sadly it lost its way during Covid and despite new management being put in place, team has continued to leave in large numbers. My daughter had six keyworker changes in the last twelve months, four of those in the last three months. It has lost its welcoming family sense, there is no consistency, and meetings with the management have failed to offer any reassurances. We felt we had no alternative but to move the kids elsewhere. We joined this childcare centre in September 2018 and it was such a welcoming “family first” childcare centre.
