Bright Horizons Chelmsford Day Nursery and Preschool

An amazing nursery that my daughter (3 years old) enjoys every day attending, she enjoys coming home and telling us about her day and all the activities she has been up to.
Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful in both helping with my child’s development and also investing their time and skills in the care of my daughter, easing any issues or fears we have as parents.
My daughter has been able to form a personality that is both encouraged and developed further by the carers at the nursery.
Highly recommend!

Bright Horizons at Beaulieu is amazing. My little girl has gone from the Baby Room to Toddlers and is absolutely thriving with caring and passionate staff, clean facilities and a lovely garden/play area. All of the other children that go there are fantastic and she talks about them at bedtime. The front end staff are excellent and accommodating and I fully trust that she is in good hands when I drop her off. A+ nursery.

My son loves going to nursery. Every time he has a huge smile on his face at pick up and he tells me all about his day with such enthusiasm that it makes me want to attend with him. He has developed an extreme amount since starting nursery and is very confident with kids. Both his father and I regard the staff at Bright Horizons as our extended family and we are grateful for them for looking after our little one with such care, kindness and professionalism.

My daughter loves it here, she has attended since nine months old and is now two and a half, I feel so happy she enjoys herself so much and is excited to go in on the days she attends. The staff are all brilliant and so caring, they really take an interest in your child and personal aspects of their life. I feel my daughter has learnt so much while in attendance and would recommend it to anyone!

We have had a fantastic experience. My son’s development has come so far and I praise the staff and how attentive they’ve been. The management are so friendly and always updating us on changes and what my son is up to. I can’t recommend them enough and am so glad I found Bright Horizons.

The new managers are absolutely shocking. Honestly, if I had walked my son around the nursery after the nice manager lady left 2 years ago, I would never have brought my child here. Lack of communication, don’t safeguard your children. Quick enough to put your child on ABC charts and naughty observations charts but quick to call social services for child abuse but accuse mums of lying and using mental health issues against people and they are not very good at noticing signs for children that need assessments.
Would highly not recommend this nursery until the managers are changed. I will be going to Ofsted about this nursery!

I am so pleased we chose Bright Horizons Chelmsford Day Nursery for our children. We have been through every single room and encountered pretty much every member of staff and ALL of them have been utterly attentive and supportive of our daughter’s needs over the last 3 years. The activities that the children do are engaging and fun, offering opportunities that I couldn’t at home e.g using a light box, programming a bug as well as core skills – maths and English. The app allows continuous communication throughout the day – I know everything about their days from toileting, bottles, food consumption and of course fab photos of what they are doing. Management go above and beyond. They are so friendly and approachable and really care about the experience of parents and children. In terms of safeguarding, I feel my children are very well protected. We get calls for all bumps/plasters etc. Accident forms are completed, and any incidents with other children are dealt with sensitively and quickly. 10/10 from us!

Our whole experience from the first day we looked round to now, has been fantastic. The team is amazing. So caring and considerate and has taught our daughter so much. We love hearing all the stories she comes home with and it is even better that we also get the opportunity to read about them along with pictures on the app. The management team is always on hand for any questions or queries and are fantastic with their communication. The chef is also second to none, from having a child who would eat barely anything at home to one who is now willing to try (and like) most things because of all the different things she has at nursery, is just a breath of fresh air for us as parents. I cannot praise them enough, we are so glad that we chose them as the setting for our child and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. We are now ready to embark on our new adventure of school with a daughter who is more than ready, thanks to the foundations they have provided.

We couldn’t be happier with this setting for our pre-schooler. We are watching them flourish week after week and get so much joy from seeing this. We love hearing about their day as much as they love telling us about it.
From management down we can’t fault the nursery and will be very sad to say goodbye in September. Everyone goes above and beyond to ensure the children, staff and parents are happy and safe in the environment.

My daughter really enjoys her days at Bright Horizons in Chelmsford. They teach through play and offer a variety of daily activities. They get outside as often as the weather allows and have lots of projects around growing plants/fruit/veg. They’ve even started their own wormery! She has a good relationship with not only the adults in the room but is aware of other adults such as the chef.
We have access to an app, which is updated most days with information and pictures of what the children are up to, which is lovely to see, as well as detail about their food etc.
