VisitingCambridge Science Park nursery is open from 7.30am-6.00pm. All meals and snacks are included in the fees, and the food is freshly prepared onsite everyday by the nurseries own chef. Nappies, wipes and formula are also included, giving you less to pack on a busy morning.

DirectionsThe Nursery is located just off Milton Road, close to the junction of the A14 and A10. Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool is close to the M11, making it ideally situated for employees and local residents. The Science Park itself is also in close proximity of the new Cambridge North train station.

August 8, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son has been at this nursery for nearly 4 years and has flourished since starting as a young baby. He’s very fond of the staff and we will miss the nursery once he leaves. He has enjoyed a varied diet here and has tried many new foods.

September 6, 2021 at 12:00 amI would like to share my experience with Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park and to say thank you to the entire team for looking after our little girl for over 2 years. The care and love were outstanding. We had many doubts before sending our girl to the nursery at the age of one. If not for the understanding of the team and allowing me to stay with my girl for a week and see what it was like to be in the babies room, I would have not been able to make this hard choice to let her enter the nursery instead of going to a childminder or a nanny. I saw how much work and dedication goes into this and I felt that this was the right decision after all. Our girl learnt so much, made many friends, brought lots of artwork home and enjoyed her time at the Bright Horizons Science Park. Even now all that she could think is her craft activities that she has been doing at the nursery.
Thank you again, we are sad to say goodbye!

September 15, 2021 at 12:00 amMy son started here at 13 months and left to start school at 4 years.
He loved going and had such a strong bond with the staff. I felt really comfortable leaving him as a baby in the care of the team. He got lots of care and attention and I felt really well informed. As he moved through the various rooms his confidence grew, he ate well, slept well and his language really developed.
In preschool, he was at his best. The team supported him in still needing a short afternoon nap and helped him transition from nappies to a very confident toilet user.
The app provided by Bright Horizons is also fantastic – I loved being able to see what he had eaten and if he had slept.
The staff even noted when he had washed his hands.
He’s on to his next adventure now but I will always be grateful to the team here for such a strong start in friendship forming and developing a love of learning. Thank you!

October 6, 2021 at 12:00 amBoth my kids have joined the Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park Day Nursery and Preschool in Cambridge from 6 months old and will be there until they start reception.
It is very important for parents to always see smiley people taking care of our children and actually care for them.
It is so impressive that all staff are there all day with the kids and still they are smiling!
Well done to all of you.
Last month, we were very surprised to find a book in our son’s bag, as a birthday present, and more when we saw it is a book both in my native language and English. I don’t know where his key person found it, but this is an amazing move to do!
A special thank you and well done to everyone should be said in the baby room! Thank you so very much for raising our kids with so much care and love.
Last but not least, a big thank you to management.
If this nursery was open on the weekends, our kids would still be there!
Thank you for keeping this nursery such an amazing place for our trouble makers!

March 1, 2022 at 12:00 amOutside space very dirty and uninviting, one garden completely overgrown.
Staff seemed overstretched, unable to give reasonable attention to individual children.
Seldom saw any original activities on settling in sessions – just routine play with toys.
Staff variable, some excellent, some seemed uninterested.
Food seemed good, cooked fresh each day, and interesting menu options.
Management are responsive to concerns but made crucial mistakes with regards to child starting.
Reasonably clean inside but by no means sparkling.
Children seemed to frequently have accidents during settling-in sessions – staff spent a lot of time completing accident forms.
Toys are well worn – some books ripped and unreadable, most toys chipped/worn/damaged.
Each child has their own learning plan on paper but saw no reference to this during day-to-day care.
Just increased prices despite the above – expensive compared to other nurseries.
Based on the above, decided not to proceed to send our child to this nursery.

March 11, 2022 at 12:00 amMy child has been at the nursery for just under a year and the care has been outstanding! The staff were very caring and considerate when settling him in. The staff share photos of my child playing and engaging in such a wide variety of activities. The outdoor space is great, as each room have their own private garden, they have some lovely tricycles that my child absolutely loves. The Staff and management are always happy to answer any questions that me and my wife have. The nursery always seems clean and inviting and activities are always set up, ready for my child to play with when arriving. Me and my wife are very happy to have chosen this nursery to send our son to. He absolutely loves it there and all the staff too. He has come on leaps and bounds with his development since starting. Would highly recommend.

We trust them with our precious baby every day and I believe this speaks for itself. My baby’s key person is amazing and I can see how much my baby feels happy and secure with her and in the nursery in general.

June 10, 2022 at 12:00 amI have been with Science Park, Bright Horizon since 2019 for my older daughter and this year for my younger baby. I have really loved the culture, the room layout, the hygiene, the management, the staff and how well it works all together. The way that the staff and management act on your concerns, comments and feedback is great and I have always benefitted from their solutions and open discussions. Honestly, I have always felt that we are like a family and I have had peace of mind at work as my kids were in good hands. Big thank you!

July 15, 2022 at 12:00 amThe nursery and the baby room team are incredible, I can’t thank them enough for the care they have given to my little boy. The rooms are light and bright, and there is plenty for him to play and explore – which is super important for an active child! We love getting updates through the app, which keeps us in touch throughout the day. Overall, the best place for him to be. He grins when we drop him off.

You really have a wonderful and professional staff. I’m grateful how empathetic you all are and understand her needs. Definitely a massive thank you to one member of staff, in particular, she’s absolutely, absolutely incredible. I personally feel she puts in lots of effort to support my daughter. She cares for her, which means a lot to us. They both share a special bond, which is great to see. She’s an angel in my daughter’s life. She’s a star. Such a wonderful experience. This is the go-to place if you want your child to be happy and develop skills.

August 3, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son is going to Reception soon and I can’t believe he’s leaving nursery – Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park has just been wonderful for our family. The staff are caring and attentive and know him so well – they have helped us immeasurably. I have gone to them for advice regarding everything from potty training to learning his second language and they have always been so patient and kind. I am especially pleased with the food, as my now four year old happily eats everything and clearly has had relaxed, positive mealtimes at nursery. I would be sad to say goodbye but our one year old is starting in September!

All the staff get to know the children really well, and have helped prepare him really well for school. They were also great at helping him settle again after the first lock down, and when he was nervous about returning. Communication has always been good, and they respond well to his needs. He will really miss everyone there, but is now ready for his next challenge of big school!

September 2, 2022 at 12:00 amOur little boy attended the nursery for nearly 2 years and we couldn’t recommend it enough! If it wasn’t for the fact we were moving out of the area we would be keeping him there until he went to school. He absolutely loved it and was always happy to go in, he made lots of friends and would always talk about what he did in the day. The staff are amazing and so so caring. The nursery has an app so you can monitor what the little one has done throughout the day and get shown pictures of some of the activities. Definitely highly recommend!

March 13, 2023 at 12:00 amOur son attended Bright Horizons Cambridge Science Park for just over a year from when he turned 1. He had a fantastic time at the nursery and made a number of friends that he would talk about at home. He is very energetic and exuberant and the staff were really great with him, turning his energy into fun activities and opportunities for learning. We enjoyed being able to see what he was up to through the Famly app and know what he had eaten and when he had slept during the day. We are moving away from Cambridge so are reluctantly taking him to a new nursery. We would have been extremely happy for him to attend until he went to school, and leaving this nursery is one of the biggest regrets of our move! We will miss all the excellent staff who have been so good with our son and we certainly highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

Communication with the staff was prompt and easy. The staff were very kind and supportive throughout. Definitely, I could see my son learning new activities and exploring new things there. All of my son’s key workers were very patient and mentioned everything that happened on a daily basis. I would like to thank all the staff and management at Bright Horizons for their amazing work. We have seen him grow and learn new things in the supportive environment of the incredibly dedicated staff. The nursery is amazing, the children are very well looked after, they have plenty of activities and resources and the staff is lovely. The management is also great and approachable. Children are happy and thriving, the food is good and the opening hours are very good for working parents. They offer support and care for children on an individual basis and tailor activities based on children’s needs. The staff is friendly and lovely. I am very happy with this nursery.

June 27, 2023 at 12:00 amMy eldest child was at Bright Horizons from age one until he started school, and my youngest is just about to leave to start school himself. The nursery have been such a huge part of our life, we will be very sad to say goodbye! The staff are wonderful, both my children have formed great bonds with them and talk about them all the time at home. They make everyday fun, put so much effort into activities and pay attention to the children’s interests. They have helped so much in our lives, from feeding, toilet training, naps, behaviour, how to navigate friendships, all of which has helped prepare them for school. All the staff are kind, friendly and caring – the kitchens do a fantastic job making lovely home-cooked food and the management are so efficient and helpful. It has been so lovely to know our children are somewhere safe, being well looked after and having fun, thank you to everyone who has looked after them over the years – we will miss you!

July 25, 2023 at 12:00 amReally happy with the nursery and all the staff. It’s a lovely, well-designed, safe space and the staff are great with the kids, really friendly and very welcoming. They seem to enjoy their time with the children and look after them diligently. The management team were very accommodating at short notice, well organised and always available. Thanks!
