Bright Horizons Bunnybrookes Day Nursery and Preschool

Bunnybrookes is a fabulous nursery with exceptional staff and a wonderful family feel. Originally I was a little sceptical as the nursery space is quite small but despite this, they engage the children in a multitude of activities and take them out to the garden several times a day. I actually think the smaller space works in favour of the children as rather than being lost in huge spaces they interact constantly.
My little boy adores going – in fact, I think he would like to be full time – his key worker is brilliant and as for the other staff, he cannot speak about them highly enough even going so far as to pretend to be them at home and make my husband and I participate in nursery activities!
The food is also another great part of this nursery, they provide exciting meals for the children and the cook staff are also firm favourites for my son. Overall, I cannot fault Bunnybrookes and my son absolutely adores it.

Bunnybrookes is a fantastic nursery – the staff are well trained and deeply care about the development of the children they look after. The facilities are fantastic, and our daughter enjoys being there very much. If you work at Addenbrookes the location couldn’t be better. Would definitely recommend.
The only real downside is that the garden isn’t directly connected to the nursery building, but the children still spend a lot of time outside.

I highly recommend Bunnybrookes. Our son has been there since 11 months old. We see children communicating articulately, interacting confidently with everyone and loving books, drawing, craft and all kinds of play. The well-trained staff are passionate, positive, inclusive and well-loved by all. Individual activity reports are recorded for each child. Displayed outside each room is an impressive range of activities – the children cannot possibly get bored. The large outdoor space to the side of the building has an excellent range of play and learning equipment. Weather-permitting, the children go outside a couple of times per day including during the shorter winter days. Three varied and tasty daily meals are provided. Safeguarding is good with all accidents, illnesses and treatments recorded, notified by phone when necessary and signed off by parents. Access to the building is through several key-code doors.

It was absolutely fantastic when my son’s key person handed us the folder with his latest works for Christmas and his growing booklet with all his activities and related pictures. We were very grateful to see our son in that lovely and friendly environment, always having fun.

Both my kids have been in Bunnybrookes. So it’s almost 8 years of Bunnybrookes experience for me. Friendly, caring staff. My kids love them. I am feeling sad that my association with Bunnybrookes will be over soon as my kid will be moving to school.

We would recommend Bunnybrookes to all parents or carers. The staff are amazing, the facilities are great and the activities and care they give to the children is so lovely. Our son has been going since he was nine months old, he settled really well and the staff went out of their way to reassure us re his development and changes due to covid. We have a lot of confidence in the nursery and trust that the staff care and look after his needs well. The management newsletters and daily app updates and photos are great, and we really love seeing what he’s up to.

Both my boys love going to Bunnybrookes, every day. The staff are very friendly and professional. Communication is good between staff and parents. The nursery app updates regularly so we know our boys’ development and progress. The location is convenient for anyone who works at the biomedical campus.

Everyone has been wonderful with our son in nursery! They have encouraged him to continue potty training (which I initiated over Xmas holidays) every day and I will forever be grateful for that. Every detail is looked into – allergies etc and I am always pleased to get reports on how much he has eaten or slept.

The nursery has been excellent for all 4 of our boys and we will greatly miss all of the girls. All four boys would all like to pass on their thanks and fondest regards to everyone at Bunnybrookes.

My daughter is now coming to the end of her 3rd and final year at Bunnybrookes. She has loved it throughout. We have always found the team to be helpful and supportive, our daughter has always developed excellent relationships with her key person and talks like they are her best friends. The activities put on for the children are entertaining and nurturing, something our daughter always gets a little addicted to.
