DirectionsBright Horizons at Annandale is served by LRT bus routes 11, 16, 10, 22, 14, 7, 49, and is within a 10 minute walk from Waverley railway station. On foot, go down Leith Walk, past Elm Row take a left turn into McDonald Road, go past McDonald Road Library and turn left into Annandale Street Lane. The nursery is on the right hand side of the road.

The team are lovely – we get great updates from them and appreciate their assistance in developing our kids into well-rounded little people. Our kids adore Annandale.

I like getting a quick update at the end of the day to let me know what they have done that day. All team are lovely and take a real interest and care in each kid.

September 29, 2024 at 5:08 pmThe kids playtime a lot outside, our son scoffs all the food most of the time and the menu is varied; he consistently seems cheerful when picked up from the childcare centre.
However, there have been quite a lot of personnel changes in the last year, we have seen a few of the team leave and others moved between different the rooms.

November 9, 2024 at 7:08 amShe has settled in very well and this is down to the care as well as the professionalism of the team. They have not only helped my daughter they have supported this transition for me and my partner as well.
The childcare centre provides a wide range of activities and facilities for the kids. My daughter is enjoying discovering in this fantastic setting.
I have also been very impressed by the childcare centre’s openness to being flexible. In our case to a vegetarian diet and reusable nappies.
I can’t thank the team enough, especially our key worker, for the welcome, care and dedication. Would highly suggest. Our daughter started in the baby room over the summer.

December 21, 2024 at 11:26 amI know he’s consistently well looked after by all the team and the facilities are very great including the outdoor area which I think is really important. The food is excellent and my son has tried food he wouldn’t normally eat at home. He is consistently very excited to see the team in his room and I know he’s consistently secure. I’m also impressed at how much he has learned in childcare centre and adore watching his self‑assurance grow. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this childcare centre. My son has been at Annandale for 4 years and it is like a second home to him.

The team are all very lovely and supportive and the kids are definitively well looked after. I couldn’t be happier with my choice and would suggest this childcare centre with no doubt. My son has been attending Annandale for more than 3 years now and it is like a second home for him.

We are delighted to see that our kids are consistently very cheerful to go to childcare centre in the morning! We have been going to this childcare centre for years now and are very, very pleased with it.

March 9, 2025 at 11:53 amHaving been there just over a year, starting in the baby room and into tweenies, she still thoroughly enjoys the team and her friends at the childcare centre. The team have been incredible catering for my daughter’s needs and adapting when needed. Great advice given and daily reports that are appreciated. Her bond with her room team is incredible. Having an on-site cook to cook healthy meals daily is a plus and a excellent playtime area in the garden that my daughter enjoys.
Could not fault the team at Annadale. My daughter has attended Annadale since she was 18 months old.

March 21, 2025 at 12:53 amMy daughter’s been there for around six months now from quite a young age and absolutely loves it there. We have total faith that she’s in compassionate and attentive hands and has a excellent relationship with her key worker. The same seems to be the case for all the other parents too. The kids eat well and have lots of opportunities to playtime in and outdoors. Annandale is a remarkable childcare centre.

May 5, 2025 at 4:12 pmMy eldest is now at school and my youngest is in childcare centre preschool. Having seen both girls move from the baby room to tweenies and then onto preschool, we have been cheerful with the childcare centre every step of the way. When selecting the childcare centre initially, we viewed four nurseries to get a sense for what we wanted and Annandale won hands down. It is not the nearest one to the house, but it felt like the right fit for us.
Nursery have kept us updated every step of the way in respect of who the kids were playing with, developmental milestones and discovering activities. The kids are often in the garden area, out for walks and regularly visited the library (pre-Covid). We have consistently found the team to be very expert and the key workers bond well with the kids. We are now confident our daughter is socially, emotionally and academically ready for school. We highly suggest Annandale. Both my daughters have attended Bright Horizons Annandale childcare centre since they were babies.

May 18, 2025 at 8:55 amI have two kids in here and I like the care educators, engagement, cleanliness and activities.
The other things I do not like and I make sure that the carer of my kids know about it is the use of ipads. I know it is not very extensive but I do not see the need or value at this age.
Everything in the early years can be done on physical materials (and it should be). All studies show that early use of ipads are negative for kid’s development so I’d like the childcare centre to stop using them. I am cheerful with the childcare centre overall.

My kid loves the childcare centre and I know she’s being well looked after while I’m at work. My 2-year-old has been in the childcare centre since being 9 months old so have used 2/3 rooms in the childcare centre.

July 3, 2025 at 10:25 amThey are fantastic with her and assistance us in using cloth nappies with no fuss whatsoever. The menu is wide and varied and the activities she loves. She consistently sleeps well after a day in childcare centre. The team take the kids outside in the big garden and there’s a great amount of messy playtime. Separate changing area and sleeping room. We are really cheerful we got a space at Annandale. My daughter absolutely loves her childcare centre.
