January 12, 2021 at 12:00 amEver since my daughter joined Peterborough Blackberry House Nursery she has gained so much confidence and improved remarkably in her speech and vocabulary. She is always excited when going to this setting because the staff are so warm, friendly and kind. The setting and the environment is conducive for learning. Staff always provide constructive feedback on the progress of our daughter. This is an excellent daycare nursery. It is always reflected by the excitement my daughter displays at home and at the nursery.

The communication is great and the staff always helpful with any queries. We definitely can recommend the Blackberry House nursery to any parents looking for a family environment.

Even on the weekends, she’ll tell me how much she loves her teachers. They have all worked so so hard even throughout the national pandemic and they do not get enough credit. I take my hat off to all of you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

January 27, 2021 at 12:00 amPersonally, for me, Blackberries have been fantastic and have done an incredible job since my daughter joined when she was 18 months. After the start of this pandemic, I was petrified to put her back in when it came to June last year but the staff have been nothing short of amazing, extremely supportive and reassuring. Each and everyone is doing a fantastic job in providing care for our little ones in such unprecedented times. My daughter is 4 next month and has come on leaps and bounds because of the staff at Blackberries, supporting her progression. Thank you all.

May 13, 2021 at 12:00 amThe nursery practitioners have generally been very helpful and managed to put my mind at ease when I had any concerns about my child settling in. I was told to call as many times as I wanted to check he was ok, which I did and I didn’t feel I was being annoying.
Each day at drop off we are welcomed with a “good morning” and a smile.
My son’s all round development has greatly improved since starting at Blackberry House Day Nursery. He has made friends and recognises numbers, days of the week and letters.
I pay for my son’s meals whilst at nursery and he now eats vegetables! Most of the time.
The only areas I feel could be improved are the waiting times on some days to collect or drop off my son. Although, this may be due to Covid.
Also, I asked for more information on what my son is doing and eating which is reported to me on a piece on paper. I feel this is needs to be on an app as other nurseries do this as is more convenient.

May 13, 2021 at 12:00 amMe and my son love Blackberries! All staff is so friendly. Every morning my son goes in with a big smile there. Can’t be more happy. My son said the food is tasty, always eating there. Going to be very hard to leave.

I withdrew my daughter after nine full days despite paying for the entire month.
I do not recommend this nursery at all, they couldn’t even put my daughter’s nappy on the correct way round.

March 17, 2022 at 12:00 amThe activities are always varied and I love the fact that the children have lots of outside play.
I don’t like the fact that you can’t check in on your children via an app as you can at every other nursery in the area, a little disappointing.
They have a high staff turnover which can be unsettling but they are always friendly and helpful.

March 17, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son is very happy at the nursery. He always talks about the staff and is very happy to go in every morning. He loves the outdoors and gets excited to go exploring every day.
Whenever I have picked him up he always comes home happy and says he’s enjoyed his day when asked.
I am very happy with the progress he has made since he has been at the nursery.

March 23, 2022 at 12:00 amMy son is very happy at preschool – he’s settled in so well and looks forward to going each morning. The staff are very friendly and thorough. They’ve really supported my son with his social skills by carrying out observations and targeted interventions, keeping me informed every step of the way. I’m really grateful for their care and support. They’ve been really accommodating when I needed to increase my son’s hours too.

May 10, 2022 at 12:00 amOur son has been attending Blackberries Peterborough since January 2021. He has absolutely flourished since starting, and he always comes out with a huge smile on his face. All of the staff, past and present, have always made time to talk to my husband and I when collecting our son, even during the tough Covid periods.
The staff are always helpful, informative and friendly, and we couldn’t ask for better people to help us with teaching our son valuable life skills.
The whole team at Peterborough are wonderful, but we’d like to give a special shout out to two ladies who are always so wonderful and supportive of us as first-time parents and fantastic with our son. Our son is so excited to see them on the days that he attends, and we feel that we have a good relationship with them.

May 23, 2022 at 12:00 amMy daughter has been coming to the nursery since she was 9-months-old, and she is now 2! She loves it there and is learning loads! She’s never cried once and is always so excited to go. I would like to think the staff are doing a wonderful job! They also seem friendly, and I love the way they interact with my daughter when I drop her off every morning. My only issue is how fast the staff turnover is. There are new faces every month, and it’s so hard to keep up. I have no idea who is who anymore as the staff just seems to quit quite quickly. I hope they work on retaining their lovely staff because it’s a little concerning.

August 23, 2022 at 12:00 amThis nursery is such a wonderfully equipped and happy place that it’s an absolute joy to drop our daughter off and know that she is having an exceptional experience.
She just loves nursery and this is thanks to the quality and care of the staff, the facilities and their way of working. Since moving our little girl here at 11 months old, she has thrived and has developed so much and I can’t thank them enough. We cannot fault this nursery and would recommend it to anyone interested.
It’s not the cheapest, but no doubt you absolutely get what you pay for.

March 17, 2023 at 12:00 amI’m so thankful for Blackberry House Day Nursery. From the day my little one started I’ve felt reassured by the amazing relationships he has with staff. He’s greeted each morning with huge smiles and energy and is always so excited to go in. Our perception is the staff genuinely care, are passionate and see this as more than just a job. His development has come on so much and we’re always kept up to date in person and on the ParentZone app. I couldn’t have asked for a kinder nursery to send him to.

March 20, 2023 at 12:00 amI have been with Blackberry House for coming up to a year nearly, the support I receive is great sometimes it can be tricky finding the right balance to work and find childcare but I can honestly say hand on heart Blackberry really do go above and beyond. You are always greeted with a warm welcome and I am always thoroughly informed of my daughter’s day. I can say that it’s a great place to work and I would highly recommend Blackberry to anyone looking at nurseries. The time and investment the staff make is above and beyond and nothing is ever too much trouble. Highly recommended.

July 17, 2023 at 12:00 amThe staff at Blackberries Day Nursery in Peterborough are absolutely amazing, the support guidance and learning they give to the children is outstanding. Ever since my child started attending he has thrived and become so confident! He comes out buzzing to talk about his day. He spends so much of his time outside learning with outdoor play. They have a forest school, music room, IT lessons, yoga sessions and so much more. When you pick up your child the staff are very enthusiastic, talkative and explain what they have done in that day. When we went to visit the nursery I was taken away with all the different areas that your child can learn in but to be honest the nursery has exceeded all of my expectations I can not thank all of the staff at Blackberry House Day Nursery Peterborough enough for being a part of my son’s story. I would like to personally thank the manager and staff.
