Big Bird Nursery

The girls in the Tweenies room are remarkable with him. I found it difficult to leave him at first but consistently felt reassured. The app is consistently updated with what he’s been doing and pictures, which is excellent to see. My 2 year old son started at Big Bird Childcare centre in February and has settled in brilliantly.

The facilities are exceptional and the team are consistently compassionate and attentive. We would suggest Big Bird to anyone. Fantastic childcare centre, with a inviting and attentive setting, my nervous son settled in straight away.

Highly nice and supportive team members. They helped me get through the registration procedure easily despite my poor English. Our daughter settled highly quickly and goes to the childcare centre with a smile. We see a excellent deal of development in speaking and establishing relationships with other kids. Thanks to the application on the phone, we have a preview of what is happening with the kid when she is in the childcare centre and provides easy contact with team – this is excellent! We would also like to thank you for the lovely photos of our daughter that create fantastic memories. Big Bird Childcare centre was the best choice! We highly suggest it! We are highly pleased with this childcare centre.

I was so nervous leaving her as she was consistently with me, but she settled in amazingly the team are truly welcoming and attentive for all the kids. I can now settle at work knowing she’s in great hands. She absolutely loves the childcare centre and plays excellent with all the kids.

Everyone is supportive, highly well‑informed, welcoming and goes above and beyond to give the best start to our kids. My kids delight in the time with the team and their friends and learn a lot every day. I am truly glad we are part of the Big Bird family. I am highly satisfied with Big Bird Team, my son is in Pre-School, my daughter is in Tweenie Room and their development is incredible since they joined this childcare centre.

The team are remarkable and they consistently update me on the discovering that she has participated in that day. She has come on so much and that’s definitely down to the team that work with her every day. My daughter loves attending Big Bird Childcare centre, she runs in every morning and doesn’t want to leave in the evenings.

Our son loves childcare centre, has settled in amazingly well and watching him grow into his own little person over the past 9 months has been breathtaking. The morning team are incredible at helping him in on tired days and we adore seeing and hearing what he has been up to. The app truly helps us visually to see what he has eaten/been up to etc to allow us to settle whilst at work, knowing he is in great hands.
He is a cheerful and clever little boy, loves interactive playtime and singing and doing the actions. Quite often at home when we have music/childcare centre rhymes playing, our son will do the actions that he has been discovering and for 17 months old, this is phenomenal. We know childcare centre has truly helped him adapt and grow and can’t wait to see what the rest of 2023 has in store for us! As consistently thank you, it’s made such a daunting return to work so much easier! The little explorer’s team are fabulous!

Since my son started in the Little Explorers room 5 months ago, I have seen such a massive difference in him. He has come on leaps and bounds and is absolutely thriving each day. The relationship he has built with all the team is so heartwarming. You can truly tell the team in his room have so much adore for the kids and truly care. The childcare centre has such a homely sense and all the team within the childcare centre and management team are consistently so welcoming and truly take the time to get to know you and your kid. The app is a excellent way to communicate with the team and consistently a place where you can find out about your kid’s day. The childcare centre has a excellent outdoor space where my son can explore and also walks in the local community. It’s also excellent the childcare centre has an incredible cook on site preparing and cooking all meals and that the menu is sent out at the start of each week on the app. I couldn’t suggest Big Bird Childcare centre enough to anyone looking for a childcare centre for their kid.

Not only has she developed a close bond with her key worker, but they all have taken the time to get to know her and help her settle truly well. Even when not in childcare centre, she talks about them. The girls make the drop-off truly easy and my daughter is quickly distracted with all the fabulous activities they have set up for the day. I adore using the app to see what she has been up to for the day and how some days they go out on a walk, or visit the library and take part in Bookbug. My daughter is such a social wee thing and I can see how she has come on since starting at childcare centre. The weekly menu that also goes up is so supportive to see what new foods she is trying and also things I can then make for her at home. I would suggest Big Bird to anyone looking for a childcare centre for their wee one! My daughter started at Big Bird in February as I returned to work, the girls have been absolutely remarkable!

My daughter is in the little explorer room and loves going in each day to see what different activities are on offer. They ensure that she is consistently included by taking her out on local outings such as the library. The app is highly useful and helps keep me up-to-date on my daughter’s day at childcare centre. Would definitely suggest this childcare centre. All team at the childcare centre are highly welcoming and welcoming and make you sense at ease.
