The updates we receive about what she does while she’s there are remarkable and the word she mostly uses, once she gets home, is enjoyable.
The team are all fantastic and we know she’s receiving lots of care and attention. The admin is excellent and emails are consistently expert and informative. We wish it had been open when our son was little and we can’t rate it highly enough! Our daughter loves going to Banana Moon.

There is a wide variety of enjoyable and educational activities that fill his day, including games in the garden. The app which includes photos is excellent at showing me what he has been up to and eaten each day. He has made a tight group of friends and the team look after him well. Being at Banana Moon Day Childcare centre St Albans has helped his self‑assurance and interacting with people outside of the childcare centre. Would definitely suggest. My son consistently comes home from childcare centre in a bubbly mood and often brings home paintings, rockets and cards that he has made that day.

They are all so welcoming, and no job is too much. You are all incredible. My son started Banana Moon during the lockdown, and I could not be happier with how the team made me sense at ease and settle him in.

She’s not shy about proclaiming she doesn’t like things, so her ringing endorsement of the childcare centre means I would suggest it to anyone. I also have a very great relationship with several members of team, and the owner, which I sense is hugely important. My concerns have consistently been adequately addressed and my emails promptly replied to. The effort that the team went to, to provide a graduation ceremony for my daughter during the restrictions of Covid was outstanding, and meant a excellent deal to her, myself and my husband. My eldest daughter is about to leave childcare centre and go to school, over the past 3 years she has loved going to childcare centre and adores the team.

We have found that his development has come on leaps and bounds since starting at childcare centre 2 days per week. He regularly comes back with new words he has learned and we can see the difference in the way that he interacts and plays, which is excellent to see! Our son loves going to childcare centre at Banana Moon.

He is due to start school in September 2021, so I observed the childcare centre at close quarters over the past few years. I have consistently been very cheerful with the childcare centre and its team. The childcare centre provides a varied curriculum, whilst putting enjoyment at the heart of the discovering journey. It has a very comfortable, welcoming sense about it and the team have consistently been very welcoming and supportive. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the childcare centre was quick to adapt to ensure it was able to continue to operate and the team have worked hard to make the new practices work with as little disruption as possible. Which, during these difficult times, we have been very appreciative of. In all the time my son has been attending the childcare centre, I have never had any serious complaints but perhaps the best judge of the childcare centre is my son, who loves going to the childcare centre! My son has attended the Banana Moon Day Childcare centre St Albans for three and a half years.

The standard of care is outstanding and the team are incredible – enjoyable and attentive. The app allows us to see loads of highlights of our son’s day and we can see how much childcare centre has helped his development even in such a short time. Our son has been attending Banana Moon Day Childcare centre for a couple of months now.

The premises are spotless, bright and airy. There is outdoor space which is securely fenced in. The kids do appropriate and enjoyable activities every day. The team are all fantastic and it is clear to see how dedicated they are to the kids. My daughter loves all the team she spends time with at the childcare centre and they consistently greet the parents with a smile and a full debrief on how the day has gone. The food looks and smells delicious. I like the app and look forward to receiving updates and photos at the end of each day. The fees are the most reasonable I have come across in the area (although you provide your own wipes and nappies – which still works out less expensive than other places). Overall it has been a really positive journey to send my daughter to this childcare centre which has made the transition much smoother for us as a family. Thank you. I could not be happier with my choice of childcare centre for my 14-month-old daughter.

Preparing her for transitioning to school in a enjoyable and engaging way. Team are very welcoming and able to provide lots of cuddles if a kid has fallen over or just needs some reassurance. Two of the team have made lots of excellent changes to the rooms offering the kids to explore new ideas and themes. This includes a sensory room and cosy library area for quiet time.
Meals are varied and freshly cooked on-site and daily reports provided. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities planned as well as visits from external entertainers such as music classes, zoo animals, etc. This is a lovely childcare centre with a variety of activities for my daughter to get involved with.
