Banana Moon Day Nursery Barnstaple

When you drop off and collect your grandson and he is happy going in and full of chatter about his day when he leaves, you know its the right place. My grandson is growing from strength to strength both socially and developmentally since coming to Banana Moon. He loves it there. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t recommend the ladies here any more! Finding a nursery in a pandemic was never going to be easy but my mind was put at ease from the first phone call. After seeing the nursery and meeting the staff it was an easy decision to send my daughter to this amazing nursery. The app is a god send and gives you regular updates all day so you can see what they are up to. I love the golden moments feature and feel like I don’t miss out, even though I’m at work. If you are looking for a nursery, this is the one!

We could not be any happier with all the support, great communication, friendly staff and the overall experience of sending our little boy to Banana Moon. We had tried other nurseries before here but for one reason or another, it didn’t feel right. Not only are we happy to send our 11-month-old here, but our little boy absolutely loves it too. He’s developed so much over the past month already and the staff are always so friendly and happy to answer any questions we may have. His meals are healthy and varied and there are loads of things for him to do during the day. Couldn’t recommend this amazing nursery enough!
For any parents interested in Banana Moon, please take our advice and go and see them for a tour, you’ll be blown away with just how amazing it is and the app that they offer so you can see what your little ones do each day!

Very happy with the care given to my daughter she has now settled and is very happy there and is always telling me what she has been doing. The nursery has got some lovely new resources! Also love the parent app they use to see pictures and everything that they have been doing, this is great as I don’t always have the chance to visit the nursery at pickups and collections due to my partner doing this.

A fantastic nursery that our little boy enjoyed going to every day. Our son had to be referred to nursery plus and the team at Banana Moon were amazing in helping him to progress with extra activities to keep him on track. My son has since left Banana Moon to start school and we are so grateful to the staff for their efforts in preparing him for the transition.

My daughter has attended Banana Moon Barnstaple since April 2021 and I cannot recommend the nursery enough. As a covid baby, when she first started she was terrified of other adults and had never played with other children. Now she is a completely different child, socially confident and always asking when she’s next going to nursery!
The staff are so caring and attentive and always update us about what they’ve been up to and how she’s been throughout the day. They’ve really got to know my daughter and nothing is too much trouble. There is always a wide variety of activities and they’re always trying and learning new things. We can also thank Banana Moon for getting our fussy eater to like (some!) vegetables! We’re so glad we decided to send our daughter here and are really grateful to all the staff for making her experience so positive.

We’ve been attending the nursery since April 2022 twice a week, our little one loves it. The settling-in sessions really helped and she’s gone from a nervous 10-month-old going into a confident toddler who may or may not come back to give me a kiss! The staff are fab and the app means you’re updated daily, most times twice a day about what they’re up to. The building is set in a lovely area and has all the kid’s needs. They find plenty of ways to be creative with the kids outside and have an expansive lawn area at the front. Due to our shifts, our little girl is there from 0730-1800 most times, the availability of longer days really suits us and she always comes out tired but happy. The weekly menu is up on the door when you go in so you can see what they’ll be having each day and it’s rotated weekly.
