Aunt Mary's Day Nursery

Can not thank them all enough for the adore and assistance they have shown to him, and me! Exceptional childcare centre and highly recommended. My son can be very shy, especially around kids and people he doesn’t know, the aunts at childcare centre have consistently been so great with him, make him sense part of everything even when he would rather just hide under a rock!

It is in a excellent setting and my kid loves to explore the surrounding area. The team encourage and praise the kids when they have done something well but are also strict when it comes to behaviour which is not acceptable, giving the kids discovering skills in understanding right from wrong and preparing them for reception. Also, my kid loves the food prepared at the Childcare centre and eats better than at home! My kid loves going to Childcare centre and enjoying both indoor and outdoor playtime.

It is lovely that our daughter comes home and she has either learned a new word, action, dance, etc that she has picked up from Aunt Mary’s childcare centre. The aunties are all lovely and have been looking after our daughter for four months or so now.

They have given supportive tips and advice where appropriate but also have provided me with a listening ear when things have been tough. I adore sending my daughter here, knowing she is in secure and attentive hands. She consistently comes home absolutely filthy from playing outside, or going on walks, or crafting, it is consistently the best sign when their clothes are mucky from having enjoyable all day, my daughter is consistently beaming and excited to tell me about her day. I can’t speak highly enough of Aunt Mary’s childcare centre, the team are absolutely exceptional, I have recently given birth to my second kid, and toddler room team have gone above and beyond to assistance not only my daughter but myself through the transition.

She loves her time here discovering and playing with her friends. She talks about the exceptional Aunties often and it’s so reassuring as a parent to know she is in secure hands whilst I’m at work. If she is ever feeling emotional at a drop off the Aunties are consistently on hand to give her a cuddle. I would, and have, recommended Aunt Mary’s childcare centre to my family and friends.
My son left Aunt Mary’s in August 2021, after being there for over 4.5 years. As a first-time mum, I was a little bit nervous when it came to looking for a childcare centre, as I had no journey of what to check for, but from the moment I walked past and enquired about a place the manager instantly put me at ease. He started when he was only about 6 months old and stayed all the way through until he started school. My son loved his time here! He still likes to hello to the team members if he’s ever with me to collect his sibling. It’s lovely that they all remember who he is too, as it makes it sense more like a community rather than just a business. He also has friends from this childcare centre that are now in the same class as him at school. I asked him what he liked most about going to Aunt Mary’s and he said he “liked going outside in the yard and playing in the playtime shed.” If you are looking for a local childcare centre in a excellent outdoor location I would definitely suggest Aunt Mary’s. My daughter has been at Aunt Mary’s since she was 6 months old.

The childcare centre setting is in the heart of Healy dell and a very homely setting that puts the kids at ease. Team go above and beyond with the kids in their care. My son is due to leave here soon but my second son will be following as will my youngest very soon. Team are very welcoming, approachable, and welcoming. The managers run the place excellent and if any queries or issues they are spot on! I honestly couldn’t ask for a better childcare centre to send my son. Special thanks to members of team in preschool for just being incredible with my son, he idolises you all! My son attends this childcare centre 4 days a week and he absolutely loves it (sometimes would prefer to stay at childcare centre than come home haha which speaks for itself) the girls in pre-school have been fabulous with my son and do what they can to meet his needs.

It just seemed like such a unique and perfect setting for a kid to go to. Fast forward to my little one turning 1 and she has now been at Aunt Mary’s for a month and the difference I have seen already is incredible. She is becoming such a confident girl and can tell she loves her two days a week here. All the Aunties are fantastic and so attentive, which is a excellent reassurance to a first-time Mummy. My girl gets to playtime outdoors and take part in messy playtime, which she loves. They update you throughout the day on their app, which is exceptional, as I sense that tiny bit more connected to her, when I’m missing her whilst I’m at work. Thank you for being so fantastic and I’m looking forward to watching her continue to grow in your incredible childcare centre. Before I even had my little one, I had already had my heart set on her coming to Aunt Mary’s, mainly due to the lovely location and the enjoyable adventures I knew the toddlers got to go on.

The team go above and beyond to care for my son. He comes home beaming from ear to ear. The childcare centre caters to every kid’s needs and never fails. They take the kids on walks into the dell regularly allowing them to explore, climb and run! My son consistently looks forward to attending Aunt Mary’s. Aunt Mary’s is a remarkable childcare centre.

We particularly adore that the childcare centre is in Healey Dell and that the kids are encouraged to explore nature and the surrounding setting. If you want your kid to come home looking pristine, this might not be the place for you. But for us, the grass stains and muddy wellies are a sign of a day well spent. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this setting to prospective parents and will be sad when the time comes for our son to leave. Aunt Mary’s has definitely set him up for his next step into big school. During his time at Aunt Mary’s, our son has thrived and absolutely loves it, as do we.

They assistance him with his education and emotional growth but also us with advice and assistance. I adore how he can go on nature walks or have water days when it’s hot, there is a excellent focus on nature and being part of it which is one of the reasons we chose this childcare centre. The app allows me to know what his day has been like and what he has eaten so I can plan evening meals. We can also communicate with the team or management so easily with the app. I would highly suggest Aunty Mary’s, it lets kids be kids but also grow with independence. Our son absolutely loves his childcare centre and his Aunties, they are fabulous with him.
